[Completed] Double touch to unlock or wake screen for SAMSUNG Galaxy S4 I9500 (Kernels) - XDA Assist

Is there any Kernel which supports double touch to wake screen for the S4 I9500? Because I used "double touch apks" but there all take screen awake all the times , so it can't lock the screen and wasted battery life more..
Thanks a lot , XDA developers

[Completed] [Q] Bluetooth Shortcuts? Screen Off?

Wondering if there is a way that i can use my bluetooth headset to turn off the screen on my rooted Galaxy S5.
There are days there is no action at work so I'd like to watch some Netflix or something
and have the ability to turn off my screen on the fly without making it so obvious...
:fingers-crossed:

[Completed] No audio on video recording Samsung Note 2

Can anyone help? My Samsung note 2 stopped producing audio when I make a video. I have tried a lot of things but none work. I uninstalled battery doctor, changed resolution, turned off flash, checked volume (haha). It happened from one day to the other. Thank you! Lily

I'm having trouble sending a text through Google now on a secure lockscreen. I bet their other limitations, but is their a way to get around this? Are their alternatives, like S Voice or something better? I'm on a Galaxy S5 on 4.4.4 Kitkat.

[Completed] [Q] Is my Root ok?

I just bought a Galaxy S5 and rooted it. First to say, the phone seems perfectly fine. But what happened alarms me, perhaps in that I feel like really screwed up and didn't get scratched. If your older I guess I feel like Peter Sellers.
I tried to follow the guidance from this site but it seemed to be missing a link. I found instructions I could follow and they seemed to match what I'd read that the phone was Android 4.4.2 and matched my model of G900M. Their page titled:
"Android XDA, How to root Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900M" linked me to these files:
Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.49.0.exe
SM-G900M-4.4.2
Which provided Odin307
which got the job done and the only hick-up was on the first boot it locked on the way back up with the Samsung logo with bubbles pouring out on the screen. I pulled the battery and put it back and started it up. It hung there for about what seemed like an extra 5 seconds and went on up and has been perfectly rock solid since. Really perfectly solid. (a good 20 hours of loading and configuring applications; lots of configuring. And that finger print scanner for now 28 hours has been perfect over a hundred times except for once I think I was going too fast.
Well all seemed great until I ventured into "About phone" and saw my Android version was 5.0! ::wow::
Here is some information from in there:
Model number SM-G900M
Android Version 5.0
Kernel version 3.4.0-4262092
Build number LRX21T.G900MUBU1BOB3
So now I'm hoping to hear stuff like "hey if its running perfect it's ok!.....but I just have to put this out and ask.
So, please give me good news. And, yeah, I know I should have looked.
Thanks much,
Rich

[Completed] Why does my Samsung S4 mini go into a cyclical reboot?

Dear XDA developers,
I have a Samsung S4 mini (South African) - three years old, recently my phone goes into a cyclical reboot. I replaced the battery, but still does the same thing.
I took it to the Samsung store and they want to charge me more than 50% (R2430.00) of what I actually paid. If i cannot fix the phone I might as well consider buying a new phone for that cost.
PLease help.
