Its inside the ftf file, u can see it while you flash it in flashtool on the right side box named exclude.
While you flash be sure to to tick all options except baseband.

Fire up the flashtool
Cllick on lightning icon and select flashmode
Select ur ftf file and look for exclude on right side
Whatever u want to flash leave it or if don't want then exclude it
And flash it
If u don't want to loose ur data be sure to untick wipe right above exclude!!!

i have tried that but still i don't see any option for BASEBAND in the exclude section. and apart from having NO SERVICE problem, my phone seems to be stuck in AIRPLANE MODE. WHen i tried making calls, it says please turn off airplane more. In settings->about phone->status->service state-> Voice: radio off / Data: radio off. Did u have the same issues?

i've tried all the above but it still doesn't work. i guess the phone is faulty and i have returned it for a refund.

I changed the main LCD Flex Cable on Z3 (D6603 model), and the phone started to read IMEI and see Sim Card. As I see, this flex cable also connects antenna module with mainboard. I know it is very late reply, but it can be useful for somebody else.

Thanks for your help bro but even when I flash stock ics i can't get sim to work
If i just flash only the stock ics i get invalid sim card
And when i install cm10 over it the problem is still there
try these:
--> remove sim card and place it again correctly (works sometimes)
--> when you enter the CWM make sure you completely wipe your data includes- wipe cache, wipe /system, wipe dalvik cache, format /data /cache and then click on reboot the system now and remove the battery. go back to flashboot mode and flash the ICS firmware and i hope this might help coz this is what i did to my phone

Nothing bro! still the same
my phone asks for the sim password "PIN" and it only accepts the right pin code, what means that the phone reads the sim card
but i don't know why there's no signal and appears the message "invalid sim card"
I've tested many different sim cards and nothing solves
if I did something wrong
theoretically I just need to reflash an stock ftf and everything should be ok
but that doesn't solve the problem

Re-Partition your phone using ODIN option "Re-Partition" and the attached PIT file.
P.S. I'm not guaranteed it will fix your phone, nor it won't brick it.

Well, at first I tried to flash vanilla Rom to my Xperia c. Then after flashing it, I booted up. But the rom had many bugs like no navigation soft keys, SIM card not detected and so on. So I restored my latest backup of my phone. Then I booted up, to see my SIM not being recognized. So I triedto restore other backups I had, but no use.I did a factory reset, flashed stock Rom, but no use. This ous what happened.

Sounds to me like someone probably reported it stolen and your IMEI has been blacklisted.
Try a full emergency recovery via Smart Switch.

Install it again and see if it works, maybe some files corrupted during the installation.
What software did you have before you tried to flash it (give exact description).
I threw it in the trash
I bought a new S8 device
It's a kind of show off.
ALWAYS backup your EFS folder, no matter what phone u have., and then save it on ur PC.
