Hello guys! Today I bring the extracted PIT for Galaxy Ace 3 GT-S7275R, but it should work on S7275B and S7275T due to they have same mounts points.
If you want to recover your phone from bootloop, soft brick, unroot or remove custom recovery, you should flash Stock ROM via Odin. If everything goes correctly, Odin flashing process should finish without any problem. However, in some cases the process finish before flashing and an error message appears at Odin. Some of those errors are "Invalid Ext4 Image" and "Get PIT for mapping".

Android uses the EXT4 storage structure, which defines the free available storage location for system partitions. PIT file (Partition Information Table) is a Samsung internal element that contains the location of different system partitions, I mean, it allocates phone partitions.
When you're installing a firmware, Odin starts to review partitions information. If it detect PIT file, everything will finish correctly, but if PIT file is not detected or is damaged, you'll get "Get PIT for mapping" issue.
To fix this problem, you must provide PIT file for Odin to flash firmware without problem.
Besides, this file is useful if your partitions are damaged or you want to restore their values due to some partition you've made or whatever.
You must put in "PIT" section of Odin, and be sure that "Auto-reboot", "Re-partition" and "F. Reset Time" boxes are ticked.

Hey folks,
I was trying to root my never before rooted s6 today (64 gb 920 I) using the uni-kernel method using odin for 5.1.1. I put the kernel into AP, and it failed after some seconds thus resulting in the blue screen which says "error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software."
I tried that and smart switch didn't recognise my device (maybe because USB debugging wasn't on).
Thus I downloaded a stock recovery for my device and I thought I would flash it via ODI. Things go well and the progress bar is 3/4th of the way through on my device and it suddenly says FAIL (shown below). I've tried with ODIN 3.10.6 and with 3.10.7 with the same results

What's unusual about this (to the best of my knowledge through forum search. I could be wrong and this could be common. If so I apologise) is that I've seen help threads about Odin failing at hidden.img or NAND Write Start but not during system.img. Does the fact that it's failed during system.img in particular tell us something?
Also, I can't access stock recovery, just the download section.
No clue why it's doing this. I would appreciate any help possible.
Thanks so much in advance. This means a lot.
Your current phone's firmware CSC should be same or within the region CSC of your downloaded firmware.
Hidden.img do have different partition size per Country/region. If you flash a not supported firmware, it will fail.
I.e., if your from France, just download the France firmware.so that you wont need to flash a pit file for your phone.
You can Search here at forum with keyword galaxy s6 pit file.
Or probably, your pc <> phone connection is unstable. Be sure it is connected properly, the usb cable should be in good performance etc.
I had the same happening. Don't sweat it really, no need to use that Smart Switch thing, Odin should still see the phone anyway, so just go ahead and flash a different image from Sammobile, possibly use one for your country and you'll be good.
UPDATE: I wasn't able to fix it and ended up having to send it in to Samsung. There was something wrong with the motherboard and they fixed it pretty quickly. It only took about a week to get it back.

My girlfriend's phone started spontaneously bootlooping this morning. The timing seems to correspond with the release of Nougat in our area. My assumption is that the update got rolled out to her phone and has somehow softbricked it.
I tried booting into recovery and selecting "Wipe data/factory reset" but I keep on getting the following message:

I've tried choosing "Wipe cache partition" but that doesn't seem to have an effect on the issue.
Next I tried to use Odin to flash the firmware from here
I tried flashing G930W8VLU2BQB6 (Android 7.0) as well as G930W8VLU2APK3 (Android 6.0.1) via Odin v3.11. Here is the log from Odin:

After the phone restarts it goes straight to the Android Recovery screen. If I choose the "Reboot now" option the phone will boot to a black screen. I'm able to adjust volume and the soft keys light up but I can't do anything but click the reset button at the bottom. The black screen message says:
Device storage corrupt
The data partition has been corrupted. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data.

Then there's a button at the bottom that says "RESET". After rebooting the phone goes to a blue screen with an android logo and the phone just says "Erasing". After a few minutes I get an error screen of a dead Android guy on a blue background with a big yellow triangle with an exclamation mark above him. Then the phone reboots and I just get the same error message from above that says
E: format_volume: make ext4 failed on /dev/block/platform/155a0000.ufs/by-name/USERDATA with 1(I/O error)

Hi mate
When you flashed with odin what did you use CSC or home_csc file?
CSC will factory reset and should and should clean all your partitions, if you flash a differnt CSC than the one you have you may have to check re-partition option under PIT (odin) , check here
Factory reset before you flash...

I tried using both CSC and home_csc but the result is the same. I've tried checking re-partition under options as well. I'm not sure what you meant by PIT.
Factory reset doesn't work as per my original error.
try to flash 6.0.1 with pit file and make repartition in odin

Will try this once the (very slow) download finishes. Are PIT files specific to versions of Android or is it just per model? I found a PIT file here

There is only one pit for g930w8 model, so no need to worry about csc version. If you need fast download link for firmware (google drive link) you can check here: https://simunlockremote.com/galaxy-s-series-firmware/

Hi mate
PIT = Partition Information Table , it has the information need to format all partition , CSC file contains the right partition
yes, but as you can see on pit list you can notice that pit files are for specific csc

That is right , as I said the CSC has the right PIT table also what is said in the link i posted
Same information different words
6. Installing another country CSC or a network CSC will usually need the system partition size changing.
For this select PIT and this setting
If you are installing a multi csc firmware, and your existing CSC is in that firmware, then DO NOT select Re-partition.
You can check if your firmware is multi-csc by installing this app:

Thanks for the link. Finding links for these firmwares is brutal.
I downloaded this one and flashed it but I'm still stuck in the same loop. It always ends up on the blue screen that says "installing system update" then it will change to "Erasing" before ending up with the dead android and exclamation point. And then it boots to Recovery and says Data wipe failed. Any other ideas? Recovery does say Android version 6.0.1 again, but same issue as before.
If flash didn't helped your phone might have motherboard issues

I've asked for help in a few places and everyone seems to come to that conclusion. What a bummer. She only got the phone back in December.
Many s7 models have been reported with motherboard issues, looks like samsung have made some mistakes
Hey guys,
My Trend Plus stoped working (crashed) after the internal storage got full. I'm using cm12.1 from OsniNO.
Tried deleting files after rebooting-> Phone crashes after 30 sek and reboots again without changes. Doesnt matter if you use your computer or an App.
Entering recovery doesn't work, phone only freezes.
flashing TWRP again using odin -> it passes but you still can't enter recovery...
Flashing stock recovery (PIT, BL, AP, Modem and CSC) via odin-> passes but after rebooting I'm again in cm12.1
Any ideas what i could do?

Hello! Yesterday I went to install TWRP on my Galaxy S8 to install a custom rom. In the tutorial, he said he should do Wipe on some things. I have and since then my phone is dead! I tried installing three different roms and none works.

I'm using Odin v3.13. The most recent I found.
I've already looked all over the internet and saw a video where you should click Start on the odin and then click on the three buttons to restart the device etc. That did not solve!
Please, can anyone help me? I am getting crazy!
Solution
1-. First at all run ODIN as an administrator.
2-.Boot on download mode.
3-.Dont flash (BL) for the moment select only AP and HOME_CSC to make a fast flash.
4-.When you boot successfully on your system go to developer options and then select "Oem Unlock".
5-. Download a zip called (no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip) for the S950F . Move the zip to your phone you will need that later to make work the TWRP.
6-.Boot on download mode again.
7-.Flash the Custom recovery.
8-.Boot on Custom recovery wipe all data.
9-.Reboot on recovery again
10-.Now flash no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip and restart normally
11-.Done!

1.-Boot on TWRP If you can. Select the option (Advanced Wipe Cache and Data)
2.-Select only (AP) MAKE SURE IS CORRECT FIRMWARE, you have the correct samsung drivers and you are running odin as an ADMINISTRATOR
3.-If that doest work flash only the bootloader (BL). if you successfully flash the (BL), then flash (AP).

Hi!. I was able to install an alternative ROM, not original by TWRP, but I happen to be without a signal, then I would go back to the original rom, but I get the same error every time!

Downgrade the Bootloader (BL). But you can install Z3 and repair the signal
***You can also flash the original modem.bin and you are go to go with the signal***
Steps for fixing your phone after an OTA Update fail or software boot failure (also know had a boot loop or bricked device)
Note: this must only be done in download mode since the Samsung SM-S337TL Samsung galaxy j3 luna pro has a very locked down bootloader you can not unlock the bootloader and can not be done any other way
also note that if you have the wrong device such as SM-S337VL this will leave with a very expensive paperweight also know has bricking your device so make sure you have the right device (SM-S337TL)
tools:
odin(3)
samsung drivers for your device
CSC file for SM-S337TL I would download the file itself but look the file up and you should be able to download it
let's start
1. make sure your device is in download mode you do this by booting of your device and holding the power+home=volumedown if its in a boot loop or says"An error has occurred while updating the device software please use the emergency recovery tool in Samsung smart switch" remove the battery (make sure it does not boot) then do the button combination above and it should boot into download mode (press volume up)
2. open Odin and connect your device to your desktop or your laptop and make sure Odin says added if it does then great! your ready to flash your device (DOES AS I SAY OR YOU WILL END UP WITH A BRICKED DEVICE)
3. load the CSC file into the slot where it says CSC it should take a minute to load up into the log but when it does your ready to flash your phone!!
(DO NOT PUT IT IN ANY OTHER SLOT)
4. CLick start look at the log it should say this when done:<ID:0/005> Odin engine v(ID:3.1203)..
<ID:0/005> File analysis..
<ID:0/005> skip file list for home binary
<ID:0/005> Home Binary Download
<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/005> Initialzation..
<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..

<ID:0/005> RES OK !!
<ID:0/005> Removed!!
<ID:0/005> Remain Port .... 0
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)
if not make sure you have everything correct or you may need to update your device drivers
5. Your device should reboot showing the Samsung/Tracfone bootloader a short while later you should get a message saying "system partition is corrupt" don't worry this is samsungs way of saying you reformated your file partition just tap on restart wait for the bootloader to respond then your phone should say "Samsung j3 luna pro"-"SAMSUNG"- then "A service of TracFone wireless inc" if it boots the Tracfone then Samsung then your device boot order (or kernel) has somehow flip the partition layout no worry tho this is no problem as long as your phone boot it should be good you can fix that later it should take a while to start tho and will say on the Tracfone boot image for a while then will boot
6. congrats you saved yourself from a bricked phone and your operating system getting corrupt which is android 7.0 and one.UI(Samsung user interface)
Nathaniel out
Does this work for fixing DRK?
