Safestrap 3.75 Droid Maxx Ultra mini

The original Dev had to stop work on Safestrap. But, in the Droid RAZR cm12 forum, another dev named stargo made a new version (3.75) with full selinux support. Of course that version is just for the RAZR and other omap devices, but it may be possible for someone to build a version for these devices.

positively yess stargo made a safestrap for selinux and now flashing Lollipop is a given but making it on other devices could work out just not sure how something about the safestrap 3.75 support selinux needs to be in the safestrap for ultra/maxx/Mini!!

Update?
Has there been any more development on this ROM to move it up to JellyBean?
Thanks!
Thank you for posting this.
This is not a question. It does not belong here, but I don't have control since I have less than 10 posts. Great.
Thank you to the OP for posting this. I installed it successfully after accidentally softbricking my phone trying to root a 4.1.2 version.
The softbricking seems to have occurred because I was foolishly doing a CWM from VM Ware on a Mac, which is known to cause issues. Following that, none of the stock firmwares, including the one from sammobile.com would work. All failed.
I was able to apply this from TWRP recovery and it worked flawlessly. So thank you TWRP and OP.
As nice as it would be to have a current version of Android, this runs about 3x faster than the 4.1 which came with the device, so I really can't complain.

You're not screwed.
You can use Pie Root to achieve Temporary root, then use Towel Root to Make it permanent.
You will have to flash the 19.5.3 firmware to make pie work.

From there you can use the Sunshine APK to unlock the bootloader.

TWRP v2.8.5.0 for obake
Skrilax_CZ said:
This is unofficial conversion of ghost TWRP to obake, that can be used to flash CM12. Other than the properties to set the OTA assert correctly, no changes from ghost.

Hi Skrilax_CZ,
Thanks for your work. Have you considered submitting a pull request to the TWRP Github repository so the properties which set the OTA assert correctly can be included in an obake TWRP recovery image sometime in the future?
Upstream is now ahead of you on v2.8.5.0 and if you share the patch, then building the recovery image for obake would be something users could do on their own, or in a best case scenario -- TWRP could potentially adopt support for an obake build given your contribution.
Kind Regards,
Camisa
it's working in xt1225?
