Battery usage by widgets - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can the stock OS or any 3rd party app tell me what the battery use of a particular widget is?

It can't, but in general things like weather widget will drain more battery.

Let's say I have "Beautiful Widgets" installed, and I have some active widgets on my home screen. GSam Battery Monitor shows Beautiful Widgets in the battery usage list along with the percentage of battery it has used. Does Beautiful Widgets in this list merely indicate the battery usage while the app is open (i.e., while customizing widgets, settings preferences, etc.), or does it also include the usage of all the current widgets on my home screen?

[Q] [REQUEST] 4x1 Battery Graph Widget

I'm looking for a simple, minimalistic widget that will just show the battery graph for the past ~8 hours. I've been using JuicePlotter and love the graph that it has, but I would like it as a widget.
Battery Monitor Widget Pro (http://www.appbrain.com/app/battery-monitor-widget-pro/ccc71.bmw.pro) has the sort of things I'm looking for, but I don't want the widget borders/backgrounds. I just want to see the graph perhaps with scale.
Does anyone know of something like this?

How to display the battery percentage in WidgetLocker?

In the last weeks I changed the WidgetLocker look 2 times and now I completely forgot how to display the battery percentage (like in the stock locker)?
Was it a third-part app or?
I need a cure of phosphorus...
It's a built in widget, I think, called "Lockscreen Clock".

Forgot to post that in the meantime I found it out myself.
It's Advanced Clock Widget Pro.
I installed the Battery Widget.
BattStatt here, great text-only battery widget.

Any good apps to monitor battery usage on stock?

The stock fire doesn't have the screen that tells you where your battery is being used. Any suggestions for 3rd party app that does this?
Thanks
If you use an alternate launcher you can put a Beautiful Widget battery widget on your screen. Tap it and you'll get to the screen with the info you're looking for. You don't have to be rooted for this to work.

[APP][WIDGET] Circle Battery indicator

Hello everyone,
I created a circle battery widget. I hope you like it.
It is free, but there is a pro version for those who want more customization and remove ads.
Features:
Shows the percentage of battery in the widget itself and its status.
By clicking on the widget displays a window with more information about battery temperature, health, voltage, and load connection information, ..., and allows quick access to device battery statistics.
Multiple widget sizes. The widget is fully resizable.
Optimized for minimum battery consumption with high performance.
Compatible with Kitkat and Lollipop
The pro version is configurable and free ads

Weather and Clock Widget - clock not keeping time

Ahoy,
Wondering if anyone is having the same difficulty. My favourite weather and clock widget called the 'weather and clock widget' won't keep accurate time. Drops minutes and gets behind. Have emailed the app dev, but he says I need to dig in settings... Have been digging for a while and also tried removing and reinstalling and I'm yet to come up with a solve. I really love this app/widget. It's transparent widget against a dark background is so awesome.
Anybody have
A) an idea how to solve?
B) a better widget? Chronus seems to work well, but I find the minimalism ugly and too brutal.
Would appreciate any assistance.
Cheers
my guess is that you phone is putting the widget to sleep/hibernate. You would want to specifically exclude this widget under Settings > device maintenance > battery> battery usage > optimize battery usage and make sure this widget is set to Not be optimized
