Guess I'll just have to wait a little longer then. I think this might be the soak test since everyone who got it so far happens to have signed up for it.
It's rolling out.. Got notification.. Just can't un root at work.. Probably let devs have at it and just flash.
Proof in the pudding
Take a nandroid (with no /data) and post it for the the others!

JCase and Beaups LG Tool

Does anyone have the link to the root tool for the G5? It looks as though all I can find are dead links..
Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
It was removed because they weren't going to be able to maintain it and codefire will hopefully be releasing their tool soon from the way it looks
Can the root tool work will all g5 variants?

You guys do realize that they didn't release this because team codefire has working root and installed twrp so they didn't put this out because they wouldn't be able to upkeep it and there will be another method out as soon as codefire figures out the encryption issues with twrp.

It was released for about 2 minute, until the first question I got after being clear i wasnt going to support it in any way was "how do i use this to install su". It became clear I Was going to be bombarded with questions on it. It was a tool that could gain root, it didnt install TWRP, SU or really do anything different, it requires more work on top of it to be useful for root as the XDA community knows root. I pulled it, CodeFire has an alternative that is more mature it seems.
