Set your display timeout to a longer time limit.

It is set at the highest 10 min.
This problem happens after about 10 min. when the upper right hand corner of the phone gets hot.

Is this a phone issue?

Anyone Thanks

screen brightness (timer)

I have my brightness timer set to automatic. When I get ready to use my phone outside on a sunny day it takes like 2 or 3 secs for the screen to brighten up so I can see it. I would like to keep my phone on automatic brightness, but I was wondering if there was a timer somewhere in the system that could be changed using root explorer? Any help would really be appreciated.

Screen Timeout Setting Keeps Changing

Have my Screen Timeout set to Keep Screen On on my LG G3 running 4.4.2 and something keeps resetting it back to 30 seconds. I've posted on the LG forums with no response. I've tried running Log Cat but I'm apparently too dumb to figure out how to find out what's causing the setting to change. Any thoughts?
Bump... anyone?
I think you can set the timeout on display setting, set time as you want it.
Thanks yeah... I know. I have it set to not turn off. But it still reverts to 30 seconds periodically.
I have set 2 minute timeout on my phone, and its work fine, but it will be reverts to 30 seconds if the battery is low (on state < 15%) . I'm not quite sure but i think your phone timeout setting periodically reverts is because your phone is in low battery state
My battery has never been below 50% so that's not it.
Thanks though!

Set timeout to something reasonable (30 seconds or less) and enable Smart Stay.

You can use sFilter Lite set it to 15% and choose black color. It will get rid of the burn in after a few minutes. You can use that in conjunction with OFF pixel filter to turn off individual pixels and setting it to auto cycle the pixels every 20 seconds to avoid burn in and it saves you a lot of battery as well.

What are the settings for "off pixel filter" again?
I didn't find auto cycle.

Hi sorry i took so long on OFF Pixel filter set to cycle every 15 seconds i tend to leave mine at 75% reduced brightness when im at home and outside usually 25%.The watch light level can be left at 1000 so that when you're in direct sunlight the app gets disabled and you don't have to manually do it everytime.

Question Always On Display Flicker after 3 Seconds of Turning Screen Off

I've noticed that every time on turn my screen off and AOD appears, after 3 seconds it flickers quickly once time. Has anyone else noticed this? It's very annoying and happens every single time. On reddit someone mentioned it's due to the screen changing refresh rate, but when I forced my screen down to 60hz in the settings it did the same thing.

I think it's because if changes to 10 Hz.
My 6 Pro did this too.

I'm surprised there was no way for Google to make it less obvious, to make it blend a bit better. Seems lazy coding on their part.
