I think i screwed up my tilt! HELP

ah! i was using the unlocking program from the forums to unlock my tilt. i got to the 2nd step. and then from the 2nd step when it was restarting it showed the att start up then the 3g start up then it stays on a black screeen. i took out the battery and tried again and same thing. it stays on the black screen. i even reset the phone and same thing! idk what to do!! i also did the hard reset, and yet after the wm6 reboot the screen still stays black! please help!!

I thought you figured out how to hard reset last night? Your first post in this thread, at least, states you performed a hard reset.
You haven't installed hardspl yet have you?
You cannot skip steps.
Would it make sense to sleep on a pillow case without a pillow?
Read the hardspl thread carefully. It is actually fairly easy to install. If you cannot hard reset your device I suggest not attempting to unlock the device by yourself. It is easy stuff man and the directions are here for you.

i did the hard reset perfectly, when the phone restarts after the hard reset its still doing the black screen. no i havnt dont harspl. so aftr the hard reset i install hrdspl?

yes follow the steps.
Step 1 is to install hardspl
Now go read the thread concerning hardspl it should be a sticky in the kaiser rom development forum.

EDIT: I applied it in recovery mode, now all i see is android logo with a orange exclamation mark !

Tab in big problem
Hi everyone.
Im from MExico and i use...used a Galaxy Tab P1000LUMJI with Voicecall capabilities, well, until few minutes ago and i am really new with Galaxy Tab, i installed this them through recovery mode just like the instructions.
Everything went perfect but when it rebooted, it stopped in black screen with "samsung" glowing. Additionaly, its like a cycle because the process is not freezing just making the same glowing screen,.
The tab vibes first one time and after that two times again.
Any solution to remove that update.zip?
Help!!

Thanks for your advice, i tried that, i selected all the options: wipe and clear cache and data to factory through recovery mode....still same.
I think once i applied the update.zip, something like the kernel changed mine. The big problem if it is so, is we are so few members with the Galaxy Tab from Telcel here in Mexico.
I think i will take it to warranty service.
I hope they can do something.

Hi.
Today i went to my carrier customer office and i they took the tab to check it and reinstall the OS... at least they didnt complain nothing. I have to go back to my office for a while.
I came back from the customer service and the bad new is they cant save the tab. But inmediately they gave me a replacement. ufff! I was being worried.
I will better to help developers in getting more info or development of latin carriers.

Not all the ROMs has the recovery button in the power menu

I just installed this app. First time using it, it worked perfectly. Rebooted normal and everything was great. Second time I tried getting to recovery, it did not work. Now my tablet is stuck in a bootloop. Only way to get out of it is to Hold Volume Down and Power, cancel the data wipe, then it cold boots into linux. Currently on ASUS Transformer with Prime 1.6

Quickboot doesn't do anything on mine, it just re starts the pad.

Quickboot is not compatible as with a lot of "booting" apps. They all work to reboot but not reboot into recovery.

I'm experiencing this as well. After selecting reboot into recovery the tablet reboots then hangs. The only way to boot now is to cancel the data wipe.
edit: I'm on a refurbished RTF201 C20 serial currently running 8.6.4.21.
edit2: Figured it out. It's because I ran CWM which doesn't work on the Transformer. I wiped my device, then installed and ran the recovery installer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346180
That did the trick.

How to flash?

Well. I got my phone fell into the wather and now my home and back key doesn't work. :/ Is there any way to flash or get to download mode without keys. Or is there any way to fix it...

if you want to flash anything,
switch off ur phone
connect it to pc via usb
fire up odin and fill in the required files
turn on ur phone while it is connected via usb
as soon as odin shows a COM PORT, hit start
done..

new problem. I wanted to isntall kyrillos rom. I did everything right in odin. And after it rebooted it entered the cwm recovery now is problem to do anything because my home button isn't working. ((

Well if you could flash g3mod 2.5 you would have touch recovery but since your buttons dont work that couldnt be done.I know when you flash stock froyo it wipes data by itself without going in recovery.And i think that in jelly bean the recocery is touch by deffault.

tnx. i flashed froyo again and i'm using it now. but i want to put some custom rom like kyrillos

Maybe you could try flashing kyrillos and then g3mod 2.5 via odin. But since your buttons aren't working i dont know how could you go in download mode...since you cant boot using terminal emulator isnt possible too. Maybe with ADB...

[Q] Stuck in Odin Mode/No Recovery Mode

Hi. I have scoured the message boards looking for someone who has had the same issue as me so I'm sorry a head of time if I am doing a complete repost and someone's already gotten an answer on this. A couple of days ago I began the update for Jelly Bean via Kies on my Skyrocket. It was taking a while (I have slow internet) so I went off and did my thing while I was waiting for the update. My fiance didn't know what my phone was doing plugged in and disconnected the link between Kies and my phone. Ever since then, my phone refuses to get out of Odin Mode. I have tried doing a factory reset via Kies. I've also tried putting it in Odin (which does recognize my phone) and putting it back to Stock GB. No dice, so I've downloaded about three different links to Stock GB and every one of them fail. The screenshot shows where my phone gets to in Odin. Generally, it gets to that point and stays there for eternity (I have left it loading for several hours a couple of times and it just won't move) or it'll get to that point and immediately show "FAIL". In addition to trying to revert back to Stock GB, I've also tried to get into recovery mode, but for whatever reason, my phone doesn't go into it at all. Thanks so much in advance for any help y'all can give!

I think you're hosed. Unplugging it in the middle of the kies flash probably messed up the partitions. If it's still under warranty I'd try that route. Otherwise jtag is your option.

Don't take your phone back if you're past 30 days of purchase they'd give you a refurbished one. The fact that your phone goes into the download mode and Odin can push files in is all you need.
Start out with the same stock ROM and this time check the update bootloaders.
If it didn't work get the clockworkmod recovery touch 5.8.3.1 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566613
The .tar version, put it in the same PDA update of your Odin, flash and be ready after the phone reboots pull the battery and the USB cable and see if you can get into recovery using 3- button combo.
Vincom's threads are also a massive resource of goodies you can use.
Don't give up and you'll see that skyrocket come back.
