Good morning.
Firstly please excuse my English...
Let me explain my problem.
With the idea of making a backup of the rom galaxy s5570 mini for my wife before passing on gingerbread, (actually on android 2.1), I wanted to flash the recovery.
The original recovery worked well, I tested it.
I followed the directions for Roms customs:
-Odin installed
-installed the samsung drivers (Kies)
-download "tass-recovery-cwm.tar"
file-TASS_v1.0.ops
-started in download mode
-put the file or run it is necessary and all in Odin and start ...
Odin said OK
The phone will restart ...
I turn off, I test and I have no access to recovery. The phone is fixed on the screen "Samsung ..."
Basically no way to access the recovery. I tried to reboot directly with QuickBoot, it does not work more.
I redid the procedure a second time just in case ... it makes no difference.
I re-download the various files, TASS.OPS, the recovery, the Samsungs drivers (on samsfirmware this time) ... nothing better.
So now, if someone can help me ...
no ideas to help me?
i've tried to flash recovery too with odin and tass-recovery-cwm.tar, only thing what happens when i try to go in recovery is showing me:
RAMDUMP Mode ( ARM9 mode) and the Samsung logo.. it's just staying there nothing else and what i can do is use power button to reboot in normal mode which boots without a problem.
Later Edit: i've just played with the phone and it seems i can boot in recovery. after a 1st fail trying to boot in recovery (the stucked Samsung logo) i hold power button, the phone reboots and when i see Samsung i press the 3 keys and it goes in recovery.
Later Edit 2: so after more playing with the phone i figured that it will boot in recovery if you press only Home + Power keys, and not as many say VolUP + Home + Power.

Ah I see I am not alone in this problem. Should be well end up finding a solution.
I would really like to backup my original rom.
And in addition the cwm is also used to flash roms ...
And with all super talented hackers phone on this forum, there should be a solution
Too bad RomCleaner is not compatible with this phone ...

(I cannot link addresses because I'm a newbe....
:-(
!!! CWM will not work on Samnsug GT-S5570 !!!
- my phone was sent back for unbrick it, stuck on Samsung logo -
...so we cannot make a backup of our ROM...
PWR + central => Samsung Recovery
PWR + VolDown + central => Download Mode
PWR hold on for 4 sec => reboot
<what else ?>
What is RAMDUMP Mode ?
What is Quickboot ?
i have the same issue & i can't find any solution
Hi i also got this problem before. Just wan to share. CWM not working with the froyo 2.2(maybe depend on phone) i also got same problem with ur.. Just upgrade to gingerbread first then use the CWM everthing should be fine..
Due to new users i cant post any link.
Just pm me who want link update to gingerbread or you all can just search in here because that i wan to post outside link. thanks for understand..
Ok thank you, good news. I will try to pass on ginger ...
I wanted to do a backup before, but hey, I would not do it and that's it ..
Well after many having difficulty in passing on gingerbread, CWM actually works ... better. Thank you for the tip.
At least he started ... but impossible to make a backup ... it makes me an error message .... pfff ....
There might still be a way...,!
there might still be an alternative way than taking your phone into a samsung service center.., if you can still boot to download mode.. you can still revive your phone...,! flash it with Odin using the Gingerbread rom...,
wish I can help...,
sorry for necroing this thread .. but this thing just happened to my 5570 .. after flashing cwm .. i dont have access to recovery .. just as the 1st post says ..
Just wanted to share my experience rooting my S6 successfully.
Don't know yet if I have the deep sleep bug yet - but I will update this thread after a few days of use.
Model: S6 64GB SM-G920i
Firmware: G920IDVU1AOD1 (Updated OTA before rooting)
Steps I tried:
- Used Odin v3.10.6
1. Tried flashing twrp-2.8.6.0-zeroflte.img.tar.
This failed. When trying to go into recovery mode (volume up + home + power button), I just went to normal recovery.
My phone was still functional at this point - but no custom recovery and no root.
2. Tried flashing "CF-Auto-Root-zeroflte-zerofltedv-smg920i.tar.md5"
This resulted in my phone being stuck on the black and white Galaxy S6 boot screen.
Luckily I could still get into download mode (volume down + home + power button). I had to do volume down + power for 6 seconds to hard reset the phone as you can no longer pull the battery out.
3. Then i tried flashing "CF-Auto-Root-zerofltetmo-zerofltetmo-smg920t.tar.md5"
The phone rebooted, then rebooted by itself a 3 times (without reaching launcher), then finally the launcher/lock screen came up!
I downloaded Root Checker and confirmed that I now have root!
I hope my experience can help others out there....
Happy rooting!
Awesome thanks for sharing this tip.
Do post if you have any unusual battery drain with the sleep mode bug. Hopefully it doesn't impact you and us.

Help Me A Lot... Thanks
Thank you so much. This saved my brand new Samsung S6.
For anyone in Australia on Telstra, our S6 build number is: LRX22G.G9X0IDVU1AOD1, at least mine is and I went through exactly the same process as OP.
I can't believe the root for the G920I is labelled as such on the CF-Auto-Root Repository when it bricks this version of the G920I.
Thanks again...:good::good::good::good::good::good::good:
I am running a SM-G920i with a build number LRX22G.G920IDVU1BOE3 (New Zealand-Spark) and can confirm the above fix does indeed work. I was tearing my hair out after using the Autoroot download for the 920i and it reporting as successful in Odin but then remaining stuck on the blue download screen and when hard rebooted using the volume buttons and power button it remained stuck on the samsung startup screen.
I Flashed the 920T version in Odin and the same thing appeared to happen, successful install reported, blue download screen remained, but when I did the hard reboot it went into recovery, installed root as I expected and after rebooting a couple of times is fully operational.
Thanks for the fix (that sinking feeling that occurs when something goes wrong with your new toy has gone).

Hi All,
I recently updated my phone's BL and CP using Odin since I wanted to update my version of Superman rom to the latest. I think I might have done it in the wrong order though? (flashed bootloader before attempting to update firmware)
My phone is now stuck on the Samsung logo with the "Recovery is not seaandroid enforcing" at the top. I can get it to restart by holding the Vol Down + Power button but can't get it into Recovery / Download Mode it just keeps rebooting into the samsung logo!! I tried a quick Vol Down + Power followed by Vol Down + Power + Home but it doesn't work and keeps going back to the samsung logo
Is there any other way I can get this to boot into download mode so that I can flash an older version of the bootloader using odin?

Press (Vol up + Vol down + Power button) and when screen goes off quickly press (Vol down + Home button + Power button). Repeat the process until you see the green screen! It worked for me.

One hour later I got this damn thing into Download Mode!! Phew...
I just kept the Vol Down + Power + Home buttons pressed while it kept rebooting itself (I was letting go of the buttons and pressing them again when I saw the screen turn off which wasn't working)
Not sure why the latest BL bricked my phone?! I've flashed one version before and it's now working again.

If you are using PH* bootloader and trying to root the system, you should only use TWRP 3.0.2.3 and best choice would be SuperSU 2.76.. Glad to hear it booted up at last!
So far I've yet to see someone truly brick an S7 since you'd need to replace the bootloader and it wont even flash a new bootloader until it's fully transfered and verified. So no worries there should always be a way out.
you can always go back to stock via Smartswitch and Rescue option.... all you need is your modelnumber and S/N.....
Phew, just went through the same problem, thanks a lot for help, guys!

Just flash stock rom with odin, conect to pc pressing vol + and vol - to get download mode
It doesn't react with + - buttons, that is why i can't flash it
What is the last OS you are running?
If the phone keeps restarting, first connect the phone to your PC via USB cable.
Then
1. Keep Vol+ and POWER pressed.
or
2. Keep Vol- and POWER Pressed.
Thank you but it seems that my motherboard is damaged
Thank you but it seems that my motherboard is damaged
I do not think it has been damaged, try pressing vol + vol- boot at the same time a couple of times and then the third release the vol + i the boot and it will restart in dowload mode. then flash with odin each of the partitions of an original rom.
good luck

Hi, I recently tried getting TWRP on my A30s(SM-A307FN). I used Odin to flash the .tar file onto the phone and it gave me a "pass" message. Since then I could only get a response from the phone when I hold volume down + power button but it doesn't boot up when I hold these buttons(I attached a video showing what the phone does when vol up + power button is held). Can anyone help me fix this?
yeah, had this problem before, sended it to repair, now works just fine
Change twrp version
