Hi there,
This is not a tech-support section, we merely guide you to the right thread.
You can learn more about kernel development here: [GUIDE] Build Your Own Android Kernel{Easiest and Fastest Way] [Using The NDK]
Here is also a video guide.
I suggest reading a couple of the relevant kernel tutorials found here....

You can ask questions in the threads , or are your own thread... Though I would read lots before asking for help.
Good luck

[Completed] [HELP] Need help porting kernel

Hello devs.i have been on the forum for a while now and have been searching for guidlines on kernel porting. i am trying to port the thunderzap ics kernel for the micromax a110 to my device.my device have no development or source support,.it is of the same SoC as the a110 (mediatek mt6577) so it has sone compatibility.now here is my progress.
i have been able to dump boot and recovery images, port cwm 5.x(quite old), extract the boot.img and zimage. got the initramfs, can read peggy and other related files in the initramfs and i am able to identify most device drivers. now i have the source code for the custom kernel, but i need help locating those drivers from different sources on github, changing neccesary files, finding where to place the drivers and creating some sort of build profile or setup so that i can upgrade the source to newer versions,
thanks

[Completed] [Q] How to create ROM for a particular device?

Hello Everyone,
I am Ireen. Last few weeks I have been trying to build a custom ROM and I finally did it. But most important and confusing thing is how I flash this ROM to my device. I am not using popular device like HTC or Samsung I am using a Chinese tablet (MTK). So from this step what I have to do to flash this ROM to my device. On some tutorial they suggest to download kernel source code from HTC or Samsung website. If I manage kernel source code for this device then how I marge it with my ROM and prepare my rom perfect for flashing into my device.?
I just need some guide lines. Any tutorial or thread link will help.
Thanks in advance.
Hi

And if you need to ask any questions regarding your development you can do so here:
