[Completed] Whenever I try to run some vr apps like fulldive or battle 360 all I see is green lin - XDA Assist

These line change as move the phone around. And the green lines flicker constantly and the app just simple does not move ahead as there is nothing making sense that is displayed. Mostly unity apps do this sorta malfunction. I use gionee s 5.5. Help me.

[Completed] User defined icon placement?

First of all, i have lurked in several threads but am still a novice in the xda community - so allow me to apologize in advance for posting a question that may very well be asked in the wrong thread. I know this community has an abundance of knowledgeble members, so this was my first destination to find the answer I was looking for.
Q:
Is there a way (without root preferably?) anyone is aware of to create a user defined system for placing newly downloaded app icons on my desktop?
I am very anal about aesthetics when it comes to my phone, and i absolutely hate icons being placed in what seens to be an almost random pattern.
I want to be able to choose a user defined placement system that chooses the page, column, and row in which the next icon will be automatically placed after it is downloaded. Ideally there would be an order of importance that i could set so my device knows that if x spot is taken then the icon instead goes y.
I hope this made sense.
I generally use Nova Prime, and my device is running 4.4.2 and is not currently rooted (rooting is an option if thats the only way to make it happen).
Thanks in advance for any help i may receive.

I am very particular about aesthetics when it comes to my phone, and i absolutely hate icons being placed in what seens to be an almost random pattern.
I want to be able to create a user defined placement system that chooses the exact page, column, and row in which the next icon will be automatically placed after it is downloaded. There should be an order of importance that i could set so my device knows that if 'x'spot is taken then the icon instead goes 'y'.
I hope this made sense.
I generally use Nova Prime as my home screen replacement, and my device is running 4.4.2.
I am not currently rooted (but rooting is an option if thats the only way to make it happen).

[Completed] Suspicious app

Hey, I have a new phone and after downloading my first app (tweaked MiBand app) from outside the Play Store i found a very strange app in menu. App looked suspicious to me because its name was "zamki oprogramowania", written just this way, without any capital letter at the beginning. I was also surprised because I was sure that I already checked every feature of the phone before starting installing any apps. I changed my phone's language to english and the app changed its name to "AppLock". When I open this AppLock it works like if it was an AppLock - it chooses a PIN and lets to choose apps to lock with it. I would accept this as a poor translation + my oversight if I didn't check the App info. This app has literally every possible permission. Starting with directly calling phone numbers and editing text messages, throughout the precise location with GPS, modifying contacts and content of SD card, setting an alarm, accessing Bluetooth, adding words to dictionary, drawing over other apps and much, much more. I made some screenshots but I can't post them, since I am a new member.
Additionally, the app is Version 1.0, it weighs 120KB and has no details about the developer or anything. Of course, I can't uninstall it, I would need a root for this. I didn't find a good looking tutorial for my phone yet since it's not that popular and quitely fresh - it's Doogee X5 Galicia. It might be important, that I noticed the app before turning on "unknown sources" in options, just after downloading Mifit app but before installing it.
So, to summarize: I downloaded an app from the web, then i found another, strangely-named and undeletable app with all the permissions granted. Should I be worried?
Ah, and sorry for poor english. I hope it won't be that hard to get why am I concerned.
Thank you in advance!

[Completed] Android + Kiosk App

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for help and this is the last place i'm having hopes for..
I have native android app that was developed by me. and my company wants to put this app in tablet so then the app has true kiosk mode, loading on the start, auto-updating (somehow?? today I'm checking it with api call and forcing users to go to google play)
The current kiosk mode i have - isn't working that well across all the devices, Some tablets like samsung 8 inchers will cause app to crash on requesting device administrator. Some tablets don't allow me to disable turn the screen back on if user clicked on the button.
We would also like to add some AdMob and AdColony SDK's there but now the issue is that if either of this networks has a link to google play or just a web link it fires intent and kicking chrome instead which knocks my app to the background in some devices.
What do we need to do from here? I mean what do we need to find to get it done? We would be buying some specific tablets for that too so I guess we can modify ROM if that is required but I'm really don't have any clue where to start here.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
