Plz help me....
Hey i read some articles and u tube videos and tried to root my xperia mini pro but it was not successful. i tried
different different methods but no use.
These are the attempts i made
1. super one click short fuse app (2 version 1.7.x and 2.3.x)
it is starting but in middle "running psneuter" its stopping and not proceeding.
2. DooMLoRD_v1_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su
this app is tring but in middle some where i found a msg something like this. read only file system. unable
to copy so and so file....
some clue may help u.
i recently update my software from sony ericsson site.
About phone

2.android version 2.3.4

I have purchased Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i which has andriod 4.0 in china. I am worried that it has Chinese andriod due to which
when i installed Google Play and tried opening it, applications opens and crashes automatically. also there are many features which are not available on Andriod of Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i when i compare with the 1 i bought from india.
plesae let me know way out so that i can run standard apps like gtalk,googleplay, market etc.
also let me know if i have to root the same. there is not help available to root this phone.

all u need to do is....
go to setting -> then backup and reset -> reset your neo l
and when it ll boot up for first time it will ask u to select language and then u select English......
OR
just insert another SIM CARD.....
and then also it will ask u the language option....

OR u can just flash its own firmware that is neo l firmware ..... On to ur Chinese neo l

I will check on you suggestions, mean time can you tell me how would i flash its own firmware....i mean steps to do the same....?

Hi RJ - my wife has recently gotten the same phone (Neo L) here in China. I installed a GooglePlay .apk on the phone but like you RJ it also crashes right away. Have any of the suggested solutions worked for you RJ?

No that was not a correct suggestion, if guess that chap codnt understand my question, Suggestion he gave was to set language to english which is not related to our problem. lets wait

I mean to say that you can download the firmware of neo l( google it)
And flash that via FLASHTOOL( firmware flashing software for sony devices)
And google the method to flash firmwares with FLASHTOOL

Hi recently installed on my SONY Xperia U the SlimCM rom with atis modify to install it on locked bootloaders...
I've 2 weird problem that I think dont depend from SlimCM so I post that here:
- The clock that appear after tap on clock widget was really pityfull(only alarm setup)...there some mod or something else tha I can install to get some app like the stock clock/alarm/world clock/ chronometer/timer that appear on standard ony rom? I tryed to search on the net but dont found anything...maybe due to my bad english...
- another problem that I heave was that the BackUp&Restoer app by sony dont works on that rom....I tryed to extract it from the stock ftf rom and installe dit but dont works...it FC imediately after tapping on it...anyone can help me with that? I really need to open my old backup(also if it was possible to recover it from windows was fine...), since I've some work realted stuffs to reinstall with tha related saves/infos...

Is there a NFC mod for the Xperia L (or could someone make one) ? I would like to use NFC while my phone is in sleep (screenoff).
Or does somebody knows where I can find it? I tried most of the NFC mods I could find but I got always the same error: "Nfc service has stopped working" when my phone finished to boot...
Im under the original 1.5.0.A.1.31 rom with the Vengance 1.25 Kernel...
I posted the original Nfc.apk + odex of the phone and the nfc-handover.apk... (I don't know if the last one is needed)

Hi! Since you talk about NFC, I would like to ask how to transfer files from one NFC device to another..
I tried it last night with a friend who owned Xperia Z(mine is XL, of course).. but it does not transfer.. why?
I tapped a picture, from the Album app of Sony, with the XZ back to back with my XL..but nothing happens..
Hope I can get the right way to do it.. thanks!

I have only 1 NFC compatible phone, so I can't try it for you but I found this on the Sony website:

first of all this is my first time here and sorry for my poor english.
i have a sony is12s(acro hd) phone.but because it has so many japanese apps and its camera quality is very poor.i searched this and found some posts regarding the custom roms i want to convert this to the original sony acro s rom so that i can avoid these apps and have better performance on my phone.i tried searching the web but its filled with many japanese sites that i cant understand any of.i am looking for someone who can help me with a guide with some links and and few screenshots because i am new to this.any comment or any post is highly appreciated.thanks in advance
