First time posting in this awesome forum
I'm in need for some help.
Following this thread by Chainfire:

I can't understand which version of CF-ROOT I should use (looked up for an answer, didn't find).
My specs are as follows:
Model number
GT-I9100
Android version
4.1.2
Baseband version
I9100JHLS2
Kernel version

The phone is not rooted and no custom kernel was installed.
Any help is much appreciated :fingers-crossed:

I have looked everywhere for my particular model number, kernel etc and having no luck can someone please shed some light for this newbie. I am reading all the forums but I don't want to brick my phone and render it useless.
I am currently trying to follow the "root for dummies" guide and I am at the stage where I need to find the closest kernel as possible but not much luck. Details of my Kernel are below. Any other info I need to provide please let me know.

Hi, Thank for using XDA assist It looks like there is no dedicated forum for your device, however
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.
Good luck.
