TWRP for 5.1.1 won't work - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

In a nutshell when I Odin this or Flashify this it seems to work but when I attempt to Reboot system in recovery TWRP freezes. I tried this while on 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 and I have the same experience.
When I mess around with it and try to create a backup it gives an error message stating i have no room on my phone. I have plenty of room. I think for whatever reason it's not mounting my file system. When I use the TWRP file browser I can see pretty much all my folders.
Any advice? Right now I'm stock rooted OFE

Have you tried flashfire?

Yes, tried Flashify and traditional Odin. No idea why it's not working.

IDT that will make a diffrence. If Flashify and Odin both didn't work IDT Flashfire will make a difference. I may try Soops recommendation to format internal and Odin firmware afterward. As it stands right now I'm fine w/o a recovery.

So i am trying to update my phone for a few days with the latedt push OTA (6.0)

And when the system reboots, it brings me to the TWRP Bootloader screen.. even if i push the reboot to system button, the update failed to be applied.
Any tips?

You have to be stock to update OTA. No special recovery and no root

So, how can i make sure this message does not appear anymore, or can i just flash the latest image from code.google.com with the update included somehow, and everything will restore like it does now?

You can't flash any official OTAs with TWRP. It's a known fact, nothing you can do about it. Reflash stock recovery, or just use a close to vanilla custom ROM that gets the monthly security updates.

Xposed Framework For Orginal Nvidia Shield Tablet Running 6.0.1?

I recently rooted my tablet and I would like to get Xposed Framework but I'm getting this error
"Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 23 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a).
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: library "libdvm.so" not found."
Can anyone help??
You're trying to use an old version of Xposed.
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm/
Grab the latest (v85) zip from here and flash it.
Xposed Framework
Can this be done without a computer? (I have twrp) And also how safe is this
Help would be highly appreciated
I am on a OnePlusOne running CM13 (6.0.1) and got the same error after flashing the latest xposed-v86-sdk23-arm.zip
Where can I find the apk

Yes just download the zip on the tablet then boot to recovery and flash it worked fine for me in fact when I was doing my tablet all I did with the pc was the OEM unlock and the pushing of twrp after that is just used twrp to do root and xposed.
I'm having trouble flashing the zip file. Everytime I try I get this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After this all hell breaks loose while trying to boot. Running the uninstaller partially fix the problems but then I get no system partition free space.
In the end I must revert to the backup I did before.
Anyone having the same issue? I'm using twrp 3.0.2-2-shieldtablet
I also tried different versions (85, 84, 83, 82) but they all had the same error.
First you need to uninstall some apps from system partition using "System app remover" (root needed), then you can install xposed (official). It worked with me
Hi!
That's precisely how I eventually solved the issue I noticed that the system partition only had around 4MB of free space and xposed is bigger than that.
But thanks for the reply anyway and it will tip anyone that have the same issue in the future.
I got the same error message as above attempting to install v87 on my original shield tablet and I have 20gb free on the internal memory so that's not the issue for me.
Any suggestions?

how can i fix it ?
Probably bad flash/ota. Happened too me as well. I had to reset to stock and reflash via Odin. Make full backup of your device, then try to get back to stock.

can you please describe little bit more ...
you mean i could wipe data with twrp recovery mode ?
or should use odin to install the same firmware again or what ?
What? No. Didn't say anywhere to root. Get to bootloader, use odin and flash original samsung system.
How to make full backup of the device if u arent rooted??
Don't root and fiddle around if you don't know what your doing. Or at least get enough information about what your doing before doing it.
this happened to me after flashing stock FW with odin and then flashing custom recovery without first letting the phone to boot.
After flashing CSC, the phone needs to go to revocery and finish the flashing process (copy CSC files to system). If you flash custom rom, it might not be able to flash the zip and therefore you have no CSC and get weird settings.
I was able to flash the zip with custom recovery by remounting system as read-write first.

S8+ Bricked while rooting

I know, I know. I´m a stupid c*nt.
So I booted in download/odin mode, loaded TWRP onto it. Touchscreen wouldn´t work. Rebooted into download mode/screen again, loaded default firmware on it because TWRP wouldn´t work.
Now it only shows this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(found picture on the internet).
Can´t turn it off, I only can reboot it by holding down ´Power+Volume down´.
Emergency recovery / Device initialization in SmartSwitch doesn´t work.
Model is SM-G955F - S8+
Is there anything that I can do now besides buying a new phone?
Alright, I found out that I can reset the phone using Odin3 and a .tar
Keep this thread as archive in case someone needs it in the future.
Hello, same problem, can you please describe you did step by step?

Just connect your phone to your PC, open Odin, load a .tar file into AP (e.g. twrp .tar file) and click start. Should automatically restart the phone and fix the problem.
Remove hidden.img from the md5 file. The error you are getting is because the modem.img isnt flashed. You van use 7zip to edit the files.
Sorry im not at home atm so cant tell which file it is.
