I've been having an issue lately with the stock browser's search feature. The issue only occurs while I am already on a website that is not my homepage. If I click on the search Magnifier icon or start typing in the browser my screen automatically jumps to my homepage. As well, when I'm trying to type in a website and press enter it will go to the website momentarily and jump back to my iGoogle search homepage. Lastly, I used to be able to copy a pictures URL by long pressing the pic, selecting View Image and copying the address in the Address Bar. Now on the other hand, when I long press to highlight the address I get the pop-up with view image, save image and set as wallpaper.
Has anyone heard of this issue? Would there be any way to fix it, short of a factory wipe?
My Note 10.1 is new with up to date software.
On the Home screen I want to remove two unrequired blank pages. If I select one of these pages and then open the Menu/edit I see only one options - that is to CANCEL (an 'X'). Pressing this just clears the dialogue box! Hence there seems to be no 'edit' functions whatsoever. So how can the unrequired page be deleted or even reordered.
I'm sure there is a simple answer but I cannot find it by searching either these pages or perusing the user manual.
Pinch the home screen down to minimize then delete the ones you dont need or add more

Pinch your home screen and then select the page(s) you want to eliminate

Sounds like you are touching the Google search button when you are pinching, try it in the middle of a blank page.

When you pinch in all your desktop screens should appear.........
You then touch the one you want to delete and in one motion drag it to the top where it says delete.
.
When I first started using the always on display it gave me the option to long press the home button to go past the lock screen directly to my home screen. How do I undo that setting?
Nevermind. I didn't realize that it showed up in the list of apps so I just cleared the data.
I'm having trouble finding out how to add a shortcut onto the home screen.
In Chrome I want to add a shortcut for a website as a home screen button. When I click the button "add to home screen" a notification popped up for a very short time and I could read it. It won't pop up again and I don't know what it wants me to do to solve the problem.
The same thing also happened with Google. I want to add Google weather to the home screen. In Google I searched weather and then tapped the option button, and click the add to home screen button. A quick notification popped up and disappeared again. I tried to add it over and over and nothing happens, no error notification either.
What options on permissions do I have to set?
Please help.
Sorry, not an answer to your question but as it's also home screen related, am I correct in saying there's currently no way to set which panel you want as your home screen? For instance if I want to have seven home screen panels but set the middle fourth to always return to upon launch?
I know I can use the app draw but I liked for instance, the ability with EMUI to be able to organise my apps/widgets so I could say, quickly swipe left from the home panel to see all my gaming apps grouped together, or quickly swipe the other way to see others easily.
Sometimes when i swipe up and go to home screen its like the app didn't actually close, the next touch after will input on the app that was just closed, reopening app and also doing action where the screen was pressed. 192.168.0.1 router login 192.168.l.l.link/
For example, i may close twitter and then go to home screen and press on the middle of the screen to open another app. Twitter then will be back open again and will have opened the image that was in the middle of the screen where my finger had touched. I then would have to go back home and try again to open the app i want and sometimes this phantom app will happen multible times in succession
