Any help would be really appreciated
I Wanted to upgrade my Samsung s2vep from android 4.1.2 to 5.1 lollipop. Did so through clockwork and everything installed until rebooting when I couldn't get past the Samsung model logo
I Downloaded 2 stock Roms from Sammobile: I9105pXXUBOB2_I9105PPHNBOD1_PHN and I9105pXXUBMI3_i9105POXXBMJ1_EUR
I tried odin 3.10.6, and 1.87, but all indicated "nand write start complete(write) operation failed" but one time it failed before the sboot.bin
I tried using cyanogenmod and tried to install several versions: cm-10.1-20140722-unnoficial-s2vep.zip,
cm-11-20140121-unnofficial-s2vep.zip,
cm-11-201411140unnoficial-i9105p.zip, and the lollipop i had tried to install earlier cm-12.1-20150415-unnoficial-i9105p.zip. In some, the Samsung model logo remains static while in others it appears, after like 5 seconds it dissapears, and reappears instantly repeatedly. I did a factory reset, data wipe, wipe cache partition, and formatted cache and data in Mounts and storage menu as advised after every installation, but nothing worked
I had installed kies, but disabled it when operating odin, also had downloaded Samsung USB drivers.
I WOULD BE GLAD IF MY PHONE BECOMES OPERATIONAL AGAIN, YOUR FEEDBACK IS VITAL

any one how to get my Tab in normel mode
otherwise it is dead for me.
First Odin and ClockWork Mod are not the same. Odin is a flashing tool, CWM is a recovery. Possible fix, you need to enter recovery and wipe data, cache and Dalvik. Or you may need to do a full wipe, in recovery, then reflash your rom. Many times the problem your facing is from flash in a rom without doing the necessary wipes.
i think i have emmc brickbug; My GT-N8000 is on UDNE4 firmware (stock German kitkat).
One night it shut down, and i can no longer access the system nor recovery. when i try to access the system, it restarts randomly during the Samsung logo (after the Samsung Note 10.1 page), and when i try to access recovery, it shows a black screen for 2 or 3 seconds, then reboots.
I can access download mode, but whenever i try using odin for flashing kernels, flashing bootloaders, flashing roms(one file or multi-part), removing batteries, flashing the latest kitkat rom (UDNE4, UDNE5, UDNE6),flashing recovery, modding roms(removing sboot.bin and tz.img), but i get "NAND Write fail error". when i try flashing the pit at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2268735 , i get "repartition operation failed". I tried the following odin versions : 1.83, 1.85, 3.04, 3.07, 3.09.
I tried different pcs, different cables, different ports (of all 3 gernerations(usb 1.0, usb 2.0, usb 3.0)). I tried reinstalling samsung drivers and uninstalling kies. I tried using heimdall, but i get "libuser error = -7". I honestly don't know what this error mean, so i would like someone to explain it for me.
I read at ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...icked-t1619571 ) that repartitioning might help, and therefore i need the appropriate pit. I am also considering NAND erase all, but please do let me know whether i can rely on this option. The pit i need is for the 16GB version of GT-N8000. And if repartitioning is not the solution, what should be done?
P.S: Whenever i flash a bootloader, the download mode shows invalid magic string.
P.P.S: I don't want to hand it to samsung just yet, because my warranty is over.
P.P.P.S: in download mode, i can see my model number, although my SYSTEM STATUS is shown as CUSTOM, even though i have a stock system (but i don't think that this is quite unusual, since it is rooted)
P.P.P.P.S: i have philz touch cwm recovery
Sorry for the very long post
Any help would be really appreciated
Thanks in advance
How could my device be saved? I am willing to risk everything to get it to work again, but i am not considering replacing the motherboard.
The device is now a paper-weight that can only access download mode, but can not use it.
P.S: I tried using nand erase all, but i received Complete(Write) operation failed.
I have the exact same problem. Hope some one can come up with solution. Tried all options above. Very depressing.......
Rescue package
I have seen Rescue packages for phones like S3 which helped recover some bricked devices; What are they? And is there such thing for my device?Would a Rescue package do any good in this state?
Is there other programs to try other than odin or heimdall?
I understand that there are many other posts about this particular issue but very few are solved and even if they are it is usually phone specific. There is no guide for the S6 yet, that I know of so I shall continue
Anyway I tried to flash the stock firmware using Odin to get out of a soft bricked situation. I originally tried to update the software via Smart Switch which failed. Then it asked to perform an emergency recovery via Smart Switch, this also failed spectacularly. Ive tried phoning customer support with no help as it was rooted previously.
Quick summary:
1. I unrooted then factory reset + wipe cache
2. Update via Smart Switch failed
3. Emergency recovery via Smart Switch failed
4. Odin pauses at "NAND write start" when attempting to flash
I have used Odin 3.9 and 1.3 with multiple stock firmwares both .tar.md5 and trying just .tar (it helped another user) with no results
PLEASE HELP AS I DONT WANT A 400 POUND PAPER WEIGHT
Thanks

Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. XDA happens to have an active and friendly area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and specifically to the T-Mobile version at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. I suggest you search that area or simply post your question in the Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help where our experts will be most likely to be able to guide you.
Hi, I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Core 2 (SM-G355H). I tried to install the official firmware for this model that I get from SamMobile by using Odin, and everything went good, no "failed" and it was showed PASS as it should. But then when I tried to reboot it, it just didnt reboot. Now I can enter to download mode, but not into recovery mode or just start it normally. Are there any possible solutions? I would really appreciate any help.
stock recovery not working tried twice
cwm not working it just shows open android chest sign but no options in recovery menu.
odin passed stock recovery
but phone turns on till EULA and all process failed eg. googlemaps failed, systemprocess.com failed, android process failed everything just fails.
