You (probably) have a problem with the ROM, so it backs into recovery instead (unless something intentional was done with CWM).
What device do you have?
Without knowing which one you have, all I can recommend (once you have an XDA account so you can post in the rest of the site) is the [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly thread of the > General discussion > Questions and Answers forum. Be sure to provide as much detail about your device as possible (make and model, ROM flashed, etc)
If you have a (relatively) common device, I can point you to the direction where you will have visibility by your device experts.

I have recently experimented my phone and installed CWM for my phone. then after installing the CWMR it just restarting. It won't boot to CWMR. I dunno what to do. I have used the recovery image based on the website. Kindly please tell me what to do.:crying:

Hi Razvan,
I am using myphone a919i duo is a local brand here in philippines. Because i want to update my phone to JB. But inorder to do that. I need to install CWM then install the JB update using CWMR. I have used the mobileuncle app to do that. But still no lack. maybe the recovery.img is corrupted.

Can't find much about your exact device on xda.
I found this thread about a custom recovery for similar devices: [RECOVERY][CWM][MT6589][ENGLISH] - CWM 6.0.2.8 for practically any MT6589 phone by kaparo.
Maybe it works on your device too. But better to ask in this thread before flashing.
For general help, you just have to register on xda and post in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

I was using custom rom 4.0.4 for s duos but yesterday i reset my device Now it is not working . It only Say Welcome
ask GMT then It shows Black Screen All I can do is I can see Network on the device. Nothing Is happening , Can anyone provide me Solution for that . OR provide backup rom to me so that i can restore it from recovery mode.

Need custome recovery for Infocus m350.
I have the custome recovery.IMG file . But my problem is .i am not able to flash it .my device is roored also .
