I want to make a make a simple app

Hi ,
I Have a very good idea for an app that is rather simple but very useful. It involves simply a Specific picture which you can zoom and pan around then there are a few text boxes I want included in the app to search.
For example , A route finder that is already on the internet. You enter the details on the box on the computer then the results come up. But i want the boxes off the website and instead linked to my app , then the results appear on my app. So a search function is possible via the application.
The problem is I am a total newbie to codes etc and haven't got a clue where to start in the least. The app is very simple and an experienced person could create it in know time but I am a newbie and willing to learn to create some useful apps to put on the market free for all to share.
Thanks

Have a look at the Android Developers website
Hi ,
Thanks for that , I've had a look but it is so so confusing :S
Oh yes , and if it counts I'm going to be using windows vista to create the app?? Is there possibly a beginners guide to creating these apps or what??
Oh yes and I have now got one part sorted (sort of) , I will use the image viewer already on the phone to allow the scrolling and zoom of the image.
Anyone got an idea how long it would approximately take to create such an app??

[Q] Upload picture to friends wall on Facebook

Hi.
I got a simple question for you all here.
I don't seem to find a method to upload a picture to my friends walls. There is only an option to upload images to my own wall. But how do I send it to someone others wall?
Thanks in advance,
Pemell
Post fb picture on wall
I also miss this feature. I've been searching for it a long time now and it seems it is currently not possible.
I tried going to the official facebook page and even over there it's not possible. (It is, but you cannot browse for the file)
I am now going to try it by going to the mobile site of facebook and the touch.facebook.com site. I'll let you know it it's possible over there but I wouldn't count on it.
I tried it to. The only way I found possible was to send the photo to my macbook and upload it there.
It wasn't possible through the phone at all. Bugger.
Though please keep me posted if I'm missing something.
It looks like it's not even possible to do this using the official Facebook app. Lame.
As for using the browser, it's actually a limitation of the permissions system. The m.* and touch.* sites aren't going to add any more permissions! Mobile IE actually runs in the same kind of sandbox as normal apps, meaning essentially no access to the filesystem. However, it *could* use a PhotoChooserTask (or similar) if Microsoft had bothered to implement that.

[APPS] CloudSend & Send It - Share & Send Any File To Any Phone!

Hey again guys.
So i'm always on the look out for awesome new and useful apps, a lot of the time they're apps that no one's ever heard of. So i love helping promote awesome apps that i think everyone can use and will find useful!
These 2 apps are highly under rated, i'm extremely surprised that they haven't been downloaded very much at all!
Anyways, i did my review on them and i highly recommend you check these out! I know you'll love them!
Share any file with any mobile OS by using either your dropbox account or google drive account, paired with sms, you can send any file to any phone! Just awesome!
Here's the video on CloudSend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9ofKXRHWs8

You guys are gonna dig these apps!
tnx, trying cloudsend now.
It does have an icon now Thanks for the review though man, much appreciated
CloudSend is awesome if you have DropBox, highly recommended if you already have a DropBox account
EDIT: You didn't mention Send It allows you to queue downloads, send shortened url's (aka via flipboard) and copy the link to your clipboard so you could attach a file to a tweet or a forum post... just saying
Lol, sorry! Gotta keep em short and sweet. The attention span of some folks is about 2 minutes, seriously, i have statistical data that proves it! LOL.
Check out CloudSend's official application thread at here
CloudSend now supports pausing uploads during bad network conditions along with a new setting to customize what gets sent when sharing the file's link. Also, CloudSend too has a "Copy to Clipboard" functions for even more sharing options.
A ton of new features are in the works, get ready for CloudSend v2!
Not sure what advantage these apps would be compared to using the standard Dropbox and Drive apps. I found most, if not all of the same features in the newest versions. You should probably mention Box, though. The app supports intents for almost everything. It's so flexible, it can get almost annoying having to select the default app for some things (like installing an app) that you wouldn't expect a file share program to catch. I say almost because at least you have that option to upload to Box from ANYTHING, ANYWHERE lol.

The difference is the easy way how to use:
Find your file, share it to SendIt, choose a contact (or clipboard) and send. That's it.
The app will upload in background, get the download link and send this link to where you wanted.
Easy!

Thank you. Everything both our apps do can be done via the official apps but the key here is ease of use. You don't have to wait for it to upload via the official app, grab the download link, open you sms app etc etc..You choose your file and contact and that's that.. So simple.
And FYI Send It (Version 1.3) now has SkyDrive support which, vs Google Drive, even if I do say so myself is miles more user friendly
Try using this app in combination with BeamLink application. The BeamLink app can beam links to any screen like laptop, ipad, tablets, smartvs etc. No additional setup required. Check it out at the Store

What about using a sync tool like FolderSync?
SuperBeam is my go-to app when transfering anything and everything between my phone and tablet.
