I don't know what's wrong with my battery.
I already change my battery, but it still the same...
100-99 in just under 30 seconds...
How to fix it?
Note :
I already check on wakelock detector, everything is normal. And i'm using airplane mode with wifi, so it must be not drain that fast

It's absolutely normal if you experience battery drain on standby from 100% to 94%
There is some reason for this (technical reason)
http://phandroid.com/2010/12/25/your-smartphones-battery-gauge-is-lying-to-you-and-its-not-such-a-bad-thing/
So don't worry much. Just keep a control on wakelocks either using Greenify, Servicely, Amplify, Disable Service Apps etc

My Nexus 5 16Gb is draining my battery to 50% during standby after use.
After charging at 100% I would wake up with my phone less than 50%.
Checked battery issues and it says that WiFi is draining the battery.
Any ideas?
I have tried turning wifi off, factory reset, and its stock. Got it a few days ago.
SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP!

Please post a screenshot of the Battery Usage section of your phone if you get a chance.
You may want to Factory Flash a whole new stock image. There isn't much to dissect right now cause there isn't much information provided.
Including screenshots of your battery usage would be helpful =) But I guess for starters I would go into Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced Wi-Fi and uncheck "Scanning always available". This will prevent your device from constantly scanning for available networks, which it would do even if you turned wifi off.
That's pretty significant battery drain, so your problems sound worse than just that.

It only happens during standby, during regular use there is no odd drainage of the battery. I'll post a screenshot soon! Thanks so far for the help

Then it's I guess a app, which is holding the phone awake, so it can't go into deepsleep.

It may be a cause. It may also be Wifi Scanning feature within the phone as stated earlier. I am not quite sure with this situation. I'd watch your app usage with a third party battery stats app such as GSam Battery Monitor. It could be possible wakelocks.
After I unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone it started draing quite a lot of battery, moving from 100% to 85% in less than an hour. Is that normal ?
Is that with the screen on? 15% per hour is normal playing games or watching movies.
Nuthin' but a 'Moto G' thang
Screen was not always on i used it normally didn't play games or anything. Maybe it's because I only xharged it twice does it need calibration or something ?
Unlocking and rooting wont have a direct impact on battery usage.

Have you checked for wakelocks. You could use CPU Spy to make sure your phone is entering deep sleep. 15% battery drain in one hour in standby is not normal.

Having the same issue. Phone's not entering into deep sleep for some reason. It's brand new with nothing installed on it except for cpu spy. so I dunno what's keeping it.

factory reset - always worth a try. Or wake lock detector to see what's keeping it awake. I had issues with battery when I switched from one WiFi network to another and no wake locks showing. Factory reset magically fixed it.
See here

I know your device is brand new but I'm sure some junk sometimes gets in cache or something like that. Think I'd be inclined to always factory reset a brand new phone now.

I think to be fair, the phone was updating it's OS. It's not everyday normal usage.
I have an issue with my battery too... Media Server is always on for some reason and is keeping the phone awake all the time :/
Hi,
After switching to 4.4.2 , I noticed that we have plenty of battery drain from Android system. I have done the following :
Factory reset
Voice off on Launcher (OK Google )
Turned off touch sounds and lock screen sounds for Audiomix battery drain.
Unplugged with screen ON etc.
After all that, the drain according to BBS, is from bam_dmux_wakelock . I can't find much on the web for this.
Out of 2 minutes and 23 seconds of awake time, this wake lock was 1:55 seconds.
Any suggestions?

That wakelock is mobile data. So, check out the Network tab.

@moksha51 what did you mean by "Unplugged with screen ON". Can unplugging the phone while screen is off cause a wakelock battery drain?

your android system battery loss seems very normal to me. its not excessive, and should be anywhere from 5-20% depending what exactly you are doing with your phone. mine averages around 10-15%, and i still get 5h+ sot every battery cycle.
I charged it to 100% before going to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, the battery was 82%. I mean srsly wtf ? I have no idea what's going on. This draining issue has started after I've started using oneplus power bank . plz help me. Also there r no wakelocks so that's not an issue.

Post also wakelocks fom GSam Some running app is using up your battery
Here's the app usage screenshot
Here is what I do,
1. Install Battery Monitor Widget from PlayStore.
2. Use the "History" tab in the application to measure the battery drain when idle. The application records the drain every 10 minutes.
I typically have a -6mA drain when the phone is asleep (Google Now running, Location set to "battery saving"). This should give you a good idea on how your phone is behaving.
Gsam sucks, you need to use something like BetterBatteryStats to effectively track down what's causing the wakelock. Get BBS, run the phone normally for a few hours, and then post screenshots of the Other, Partial Wakelocks, and Alarms screens in BBS.

Actually "battery saving" location eats more battery, than Device only since it's using WiFi + Cellular instead of GPS. At least it's my experience, that I have a bit less drain on Device Only, than on Battery saving.
After a week of using these apps.. I've found that there are no wakelocks, still the battery drains overnight.
Will the battery recaliberation help?
Or maybe chaning the rom?
I'm on stock rom as of now. Non rooted.
PLease please suggest me something.

I had issues with battery draining when I left my phone somewhere with low signal strength overnight.
Also I experienced battery drains when my I had a slow internet connection. It may be that some applications are trying to sync, but they are unable to due to slow connection. So they try again and again. (I have this issue with K9-Mail).
I would also suggest to check if Google Location Reporting ist switched on. It was also a battery drainer I had a problem with in the past.
So before you start flashing ROMs, make sure this is not related to signal or synchronization problems.
What is causing the battery drain ???
Here r some screenshots

Obviously Google+, it tries to sync something, maybe pictures.
Hi, I have a new battery, only in sleep modus 10 hours there is 30% battery drain?

Hi I tried now Chroma rom. In 1 hour from 99% to 98% so that's good I guess.
My Nexus 5 is about 2 years old. With a stock MM ROM, it drops about 1% every 2 to 2.5 hours with my data, wifi, and Bluetooth turned off.

I really don't understand. Now it from 98 to 87% ? I did notting on it? !!
Hmm, seems like something else if going on to cause this issue. I suggest trying a stock ROM to see what happens.

I install it now with Nexus Root Toolkit. thxn
Same issue on stock rom/kernel from GOogle.
What now?
The battery must be draining because Doze mode might not be working.
Use a free app like Wakelock Detector to determine if there's a Wakelock responsible for the battery drain.

An expert might help you with finding out if its normal or not.
However, in Wakelock Detector, check on the top to see if the Awake percentage is way more than you would expect. Tapping on it would give you statistics about how much time the phone has been awake(minus the on-screen time).
If the awake time is significant, it means some service is definitely messing up with your phone's battery life.
Whatever app tops the CPU Wakelock list, you can disable it to see if battery life improves.
Good luck
