Hi,
I just got a Lenovo K3 Note K50a40 (NOT K50-t5)
And I am trying to root it
I tried to search this phone on XDA but its not showing anywhere.
I tried to root and flash recovery using method provided for K50-t5 but it showed everything wa successful but when I try to go into recovery using power and volume keys it just shows the Lenovo default recovery.
I guess there are two models for the same phone International model is k50-t5 and Indian model is k50a40
K50-t5 is rootable and has an Cyanogen Rom whereas I cannot find any way to root k50a40
If anyone here has any idea on how to root and flash CWM recovery for k50a40 please help us

This does not work for Duos 2. Only Duos (see comments on youtube).

Yes you can install it with Rashr.apk AT YOUR OWN RISK And Don't forget to backup your stock recovery

I have tried a few things before I came here:
1. Use EPS Professional to make backup of EFS and restore.
2. Tried to access the service mode but it failed.
3. Change the access permission of the EFS folder.
However, if I flash my stock rom (Hong Kong, 2.3.6 Gingerbread) back, everything is normal.
I would like to ask if there is any way to deal with this, thanks!!!

I have upgraded my Le 1s X507 (INDIAN Variant) to Android 6.0 Marshmallow running on EUI 5.8.017S through an offline update from their official website on 02-09-2016.
I tried rooting it with KingRoot but eventually,failed.
If anyone has the best way to root this device now,please let me know.That would be really helpful.

worked for me. default language is chinies, but there is an option to make it english. use windows 7, windows 10 not working.
although in process given, in above link i dont find option in phone to select stock recovery of twrp,
flash superuser.zip as stated there.
if you want to replace this recovery with any other mod of twrp just replace recovary.img with other one which you can find in LeTv_S1_x507_TWRP_Recovery_By_Yaasu.zip, which is given in http://forum.le.com/in/index.php?th...-root-for-letv-le1s-x507-indian-version.1019/.

Hello, I tried to instal twrp and root my device Huawei DIG L01 with this tool and I formated all data without making any backup first. Now I can't find a compatible firmware for my phone .I tried with a lot of roms but they dont work . Can someone help me please ? Actualy I have 2 recovery (Twrp and emui 4.1 ?!?)
