Game Of War Not Working
Game Of War does not work with MEmu anymore.
I updated Game Of War and it stopped working. The beginning screen loads then goes black and stays that way.
I have tried reinstalling MEmu and GOW, still same thing.
I have tried it on multiple devices, still same thing.
Other have reported the same thing.
Is this a known issue??
Is there a fix??
I really like MEmu and would hate to change emulators.
If there is a better place to post this let know.

Yes GOW works, but MEmu does freeze and crash often with 4.2, 4.4, or 5.1, including any RC version while playing GOW.

I use Memu and play this wicked game called , Space Combat , but when i went to download the game it said, may not be compatible with your device. ( I havent figured that out yet!!) Anyone with any ideas??? The problem i have is the aimer goes way away from me and it shouldnt , but i have no knowledge of what to optimize to fix.

[App][4.0+] Mac Remote SSH

Mac Remote Shutdown becomes Mac Remote SSH and gives you great new features. Here's the story of this evolution.
His development began in 2013 because I wanted to be able to remotely schedule the shutdown of my Mac (I always feel too lazy to leave my bed to do it after 2 or 3 episodes of my favorite TV show). First version, with shutdown and volume control, was released on October 2013.
A few months later, I realized that it also could be very useful to control my favorite apps such as iTunes, VLC or Google Play Music (in Chrome). The app made by Augusti Bau has the same kind of features but some are missing so I decided to go forward.
I added these new features + a partial keyboard emulation in order to control XBMC, Keynote and Powerpoint (with the 4 arrows, the space bar, enter and escape keys).
To go further, I decided to implement custom commands execution (osascripts + AppleScripts) from within the app. For examples (my personal needs) a single click on my customized command can :
- play a specific iTunes playlist --> custom osascript that can be configured as : tell app "iTunes" to play playlist "Let it be"
- switch my Mac audio ouput from the app launching an AppleScript located in my Mac --> AppleScript launch that can simply be configured like /Users/thomas-mac/myAppleScripts/SwitchAudioOutput.scpt
With the 2 last features, I think that abilities are limitless for advanced users AND newbies, because ready-to-use AppleScripts can easily be found in main blogs and websites.
To finish, I recently discovered the developed by Jakub Szwiec. He made a great work with the UI and customization. Nevertheless, I think my app remains interesting. Try it out !

Thanks, will try.

Osascript is the way to run AppleScript from the command line. You will find examples without any problem on the internet.
iTunes examples : https://gist.github.com/rkumar/503162
Use " tell application "iTunes" to play " to play iTunes from the app.

Good App
Tested with OSX Lion and approved. I like the retro iPod design !!
New feature : Tasker integration
I've just released a new version of Mac Remote SSH with a new feature : Tasker integration !
You are now able to automatically do what you need, when you need it !
Some examples :
- pause iTunes/Spotify/Rdio while answering a phone call
- make your Mac say you've just received a new text message from your wife
- display on your Mac a dialog with the body of this message you've just received
- play your iTunes' favorite playlist while launching your gallery app on your phone
- activate or quit because you shaked your phone
- shutdown your Mac because it's 4AM or because the weather is cold
You'll find here the variables that can be used in the commands.
PS : A new option to keep screen on is also available (useful in a slideshow).
Share examples
It could be useful to add more command examples in the tasker plugin, maybe coming from the users ?
This is what I use :
set volume output volume 0
tell app "System Events" to display dialog "Message from %SMSRN"
tell app "uTorrent" to activate

Looks like a great app.
I was actually looking for ways of using tasker with mac.remote, and I found this
However, is there a better way to arrange all the custom scripts,
like creating an extra tab and mapping only some of the scripts onto buttons?
Thanks for the app!
no more supported?

Nice, i don't know if this works properly since i don't use this app but i'm wondering what is the main purpose of having multiple accounts at HearthStone ?
I can imagine one of the following:
- Having more daily quests everyday
- Use the noob money on every account to have the chance for dropping a golden legendairy
Is it?

I think it can do some interesting experiments.
e.g.
- Put 7 Pirates or Murlocs
- Put 7 'Malygos' ( use 'Duplicate' and 'Echo of Medivh' ) and put one 'Arcane Missiles' . It is amazing !!!
Of course, you can play other games with MEmu.

@xconwayx ah okay, that sounds pretty dull tho
After the September 30th update, where HS switched to Unity5, the game doesn't run on emulators for me anymore, throwing "Failure to initialize! Your hardware does not support this application" error on starting the app. Had a working setup on Andy, stopped working after update. Tried Memu (which I like more), but get the same error. Any help?

- You can try to increase "CPU" and "Memory" by setting the configure of the MEmu, or set "Mobile phone brand" and "Mobile phone model"
- Uninstall Hearthstone and reinstall it.
Great app. Multiple instances!!! One quirk about it is when I tried to switch account in Castle Clash, game says "Google Play Service not Available" --- any fixes to that?
This is great!! But I have used one like this NoxApp+, the better thing is that it doesn't contain ADVERTISEMENT!!

The Best Android Emulator: BlueStacks vs Andy vs MEmu

I am a big fan of Android game, but have always being in a situation where I want to play a game, I couldn’t use my phone or my battery is going to die. Sometimes I even couldn't enjoy some fancy games because of small screen but thick fingers...
Well, it is actually possible to solve all the headaches with Android Emulator. When you install an emulator on PC, you get a virtual console in which you can use any Android apps and games. So I am going to share my experience of three popular Android emulators: BlueStacks, Andy and MEmu.
• Performance
Benchmark: AnTuTu v5.6
CPU: Intel i5 3.3GHz
Memory: 8GB
Graphics: GeForce GTX 950

To my surprise, MEmu obtain the highest score 96375 and way ahead of the others. Andy's score is 73376 and BlueStacks's is 67807. As a reference, the flagship Samsung S6 scores 69019. MEmu seems pulls off this impressive performance by running Android apps natively on x86 processor whenever possible. On the other hand, when launching these three emulators, BlueStacks starts up a little faster than the others. I guess it's probably because BlueStacks is a lightweight solution which doesn't virtualize the full Android system.
• Use and Setup
BlueStacks is extremely easy to install and setup. In fact, there is very few things could be configured. BlueStacks has its own user interface apart from the standard Android interface. Frankly speaking, I am not a fan of this UI although it's particularly focused on games. The worse thing is BlueStacks costs $2 a month to keep playing.
Andy is not as simple as BlueStacks. I did have a problem actually installing it but somehow I fixed it. Once you launch Andy, you will get a standard Android interface and need to connect your Google account to Andy at the first time. Andy offers a handy feature that you can launch Android apps from shortcuts in your Windows desktop.
For MEmu, downloading and installing is amazingly easy. With the default setting, I can directly run any app exactly like it on the Android phone or tablet. I was also surprised that I can change the brand, model and even IMEI, and etc. Sometimes it's very useful, I bet you know that.
• Gaming and Productivity
As you can see, BlueStacks concentrates more on games rather than regular apps, as its home page filled with suggested games by category reveals. Hence, it's no surprise that the suggested games run fairly well. Unfortunately, I found the program to be buggy and slow in some regular apps.
Unlike BlueStacks, Andy focuses on an overall experience for both games and regular apps. It actually plays the game better than BlueStacks in terms of stability, but sometimes a little bit slower. The good thing is that Andy supports third party launcher and even allows the use of widgets.
MEmu also provides a more rounded experience than BlueStacks. It puts all suggested apps and games in MEmu market, but seems most of them are popular in China. So I downloaded a few apps and games from Google Play and they all went very smoothly. One of the things I really like personally is the ability of comprehensive keyboard mapping, since it makes me play shooting game much better than in my Android phone.
• Multiplayer Mode
The multiplayer mode is an innovative feature which makes it possible to run several emulators spontaneously. Instead of pushing other apps/games to the background, you can switch between them on the same computer screen. This is like having several phones for real-time multi-tasking.
BlueStacks and Andy don't support this mode natively, but it's said that you could create multiple instances of BlueStacks or Andy with the help of sandbox.
MEmu has a thoughtful design for this feature. The activation process is very simple and I was able to create several MEmu players in a few clicks. It’s also easy to customize the CPU occupation and RAM of each emulator was introduced. Moreover, it takes up much less resource, compared to sandbox solution. So MEmu wins it clearly.
• Interesting Features
BlueStacks offers a feature of syncing apps between your phone and the Windows app via a cloud connect app. Andy lets you use your Android phone as a remote control, mirroring the screen on Andy on your phone. MEmu could be launched from a USB thumb without any software installation. With this portable version, you can easily plug and play and bring MEmu everywhere in your pocket.
• Overall
There are many other Android emulators and your choice really depends on your needs. If you need something super simple that plays some light games occasionally, then BlueStacks may be a good choice. For most of Android fans, Andy and MEmu are definitely worth a try. They are both free and powerful. As to me, I will go with MEmu because of good performance and multiplayer mode.
Well, I will be happy to know your choice or suggestion.

Buddy, seems we share the same feeling
BlueStacks is my previous choice. By your sharing, I've just tried MEmu and it's really cool! It would be better if MEmu could improve multiple language support.
A simpler for the average user Andy.:fingers-crossed:
I don't like BlueStacks, because for some time I was unable to remove it from my system, it always offered to update.

I have uninstalled it and it left this behavior.
I ran into this problem with BlueStacks a few times too... then with the help of some 3rd party software, I remove it clearly finally.
I've tried many Android emulators before... bluestacks, andy, nox, genymotion, memu and some others I can't recall their names. Anyway, I agree with you by and large that MEmu is the best one ever.
I've just tried MEmu for a few weeks and it went very well.
But I didn't figure out how to perform sliding screen through keyboard mapping... otherwise, I can not play templerun on the android emulator
Any suggestion? Or MEmu doesn't support it?

As to slide screen operation in MEmu, hold the left mouse button down and drag the mouse pointer toward the direction of slide screen, then type a key to map this operation. You may have a try
MEmu,the best choice!

Yes, it's an Android virtual machine, similar to BlueStaccks,. We have compared the benchmark scores, and Leapdroid is the best on market, please give it a try.
We have much better architecture and technologies compared to others, and feel confident to come out as #1 Android emulator. We have a new OpenGL forwarding technology, called LeapGL, and a virtual fiber between android vm and the host machine, which results in ultra high performance. The benchmark scores we got from our vm is very close to native execution speed.
We have github account here, will release some source code.
https://github.com/leapdroid
look forward to Linux version.
Yes, we are working on a Linux version too.
To give you some ideas on our performance, we run BlueStacks and our Leapdroid on the same physical PC, with exactly same configurations. We use AnTuTu 6.0, and the scores are shown in the attached images. The larger the score is, the better the performance is.
it's 156141 (LeapDroid) vs 122794 (BlueStacks)
WTF? The installer provided stucks at 0
Sorry about that, our developer is looking into the issue. Can you try installing again? Also check if the md5 matches.
It's an offline installer, suppose not downloading anything during installation, so that progress bar is misleading, can you check if the file size is around 245MB?
would be nice if the installer says/ask where you're installing to instead of just installing. i also get an empty folder with unreadable symbol after its done installing that look like this C:\Users\SPeciaL\Desktop\ĸ‚⿝矨搦\Leapdroid\VM
can i delete it?

Yes, you can delete that weird folder.
Look like the bug is to do with self extracting, can you put the exe file to a folder that you have write permission?

? the exe is on desktop and i believe i have write permission?. i checked the properties and all it's not "read only" if thats what you meant. besides the weird installation there's also sound lag and kind of felt like echo. the graphic also isn't as clear as bluestack (i used it before it always stuck initializing) and memu.
1st
tried to find and remove all traces of LeapDroid: don't know whether was 100% successful.
2nd
ran installer again. Got error message
but the mentioned folder doesn't exist.
I gave up wasting my time with LeapDroid ...
Suggestion:
Please, I believe the user should always have the choice to avoid "installations", therefore, I'm asking for "Leapdroid-Portable" version.
Such version should always be released alongside the major Leapdroid releases.
When I say "Portable", I mean a self-contained directory with all the settings/things/other you need to run Leapdroid (so, your android emulator can become really portable....aka fully contained on your beloved USB-DataKey).
No weird directories spread on your disks, no infinite amount of obscure registry-keys, no problems when trying to uninstall/reinstall....
....just a directory, full of your stuff.
As jwoegerbauer pointed out, the uninstall process is always a sensitive matter.
What's easier than uninstalling just "deleting" a folder?
some more experiments and it seems to be able to run apps that i couldn't on other emulators, fate grand order for example and also smoother despite sound issue (clash royal). i'd also like to hide sidebar if possible but nice stuff for first version!
Report here:
leapdroid can't run seven knights games and vpn apps
also please add more features like install apk - config resolution - orientation change.
Might want to move the shared folder default location to a more known place like MyDocuments or something. Couldn't find it anywhere so I had to check vm1.vbox and it turns out it was in "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\yiwanzhushou\shared". It's the best way to transfer apks and other files to the Android machine, so it should be in place where your average user can access it quickly without much thought.
Already comes rooted which is always a plus. Would be nice if you could customize WASD keymap, but it isn't a big deal right now.
I don't play that many FPS intensive games, but overall they do feel smooth. Sadly I couldn't get シノビナイトメア / Shinobi Nightmare (jp.co.gu3.samurai) and Tales of Link (com.bandainamcoent.tolink_ww) to work (game starts but there's a black screen and you can't do anything), but since MEmu and Nox can't run them as well I wasn't expecting this to do it, so far only BlueStacks has been capable of running them without issues in my machine.
Also this is just my personal opinion, but I don't think the emulator should come with preinstalled "game installers". Unless you're being paid to put them there, I don't see why some random crappy games must be forced down my throat when I have no interest in them. Needless to say the first thing I did when I saw them was to uninstall them. If I wanted the game, I'd go get it myself.
Thanks for testing and those feedbacks. I hate installation issues too, and we will resolve them in next release. We take user feedbacks seriously.
These couple of weeks we have fixed more compatibility issues to cover more games, we will make sure all games reported here got supported in next few releases.

I have played Critical ops on your product, it runs smoothly, key mapping works perfect. But it seems I can only download games from google play store, I didn't find any button or settings with APK install.
BTW, your product boots so fast, less than 5 secs on my pc.

[CLOSED] [APP] Master TV Remote Control

Hi all!
We live in a time where we use latest technology, but how much do we really know about it? Are we even using it at its full potential? One of the least appreciated feature on an Android device is its built in IR blaster, which allows users to use their Android device as a universal remote. There are many applications available in your smart phones today, that can help you use your smart phone to its full potential. The problem however arises when you have to pick the right application from the sea of applications. Which is why we want to recommend the Master TV Remote Control Application.

Reasons why Master TV Remote Control is better than any regular TV controller:
● You will never lose this controller, as it will be a small application sitting on your phone waiting to be used.
● You will no longer have to worry about batteries running out, and will not be required to stock up on batteries either.
● There will be no more fights over the controller, and you will not have to worry about kids breaking the regular controller.
● It will not need to be smacked or wiggled around in the air because it had stopped working for God knows what reason now.
How can I use my mobile phone as a remote Control for IR TV?
● Using your Android device open Google play store and search up “Master TV Remote Control”.
● Click on and wait for it to download and install
● Simply open the app and point it in your tv’s direction to start using it.
Note:
● This application does not work on any mobile or tablet without a built in IR blaster.
● This application is compatible with various equipment, but this is an unofficial universal tv remote for all the equipment you own.

@MSC cleaner
Hi, I have a file from my Smart TV which is a configuration file for its remote, and I was looking to convert it to an lirc format.
How can this be achieved?
P.S. Kindly look at the two files inside the attachedzip file for further reference.
One is the remote configuration file, and the other is the keycodes that it represents - (linux keylayout keycodes).
They can be opened easily with Notepad++ which is an open source notepad program for Windows, linux etc.
Opening them with normal notepad will make them unreadable.
Cheers.
