The hardware of H and C is mostly the same, so there are not much differences between them, only a few changes. But don't know if that works without problems.
I've got flashfire error at 68% while scanning the rom... do you have the same problem as mine?

Sorry everyone,I uploaded the wrong file by mistake. I've been busy so didn't checked the thread. The problem has been fixed now. Download the ROM again and flash it.

After installing this ROM, my N910H reported Google Play services has problems. I went through hours troubleshooting, including reinstall the ROM, but nothing. I can't update any apps or download any apps because of error 491. I've tried everything. Any ideas?

I just downloaded this ROM from upload/hermes, unfortunately the file is corrupted and i was unable to completely unpacked it. Anyone who have uploaded the file please re-upload. Thanks.
could be that it's your download which were corrupted
and if you tried to download it soon after you got the same corrupted
file from the cache of your isp
I just downloaded the newly FIXED file from uploads/Hermes. The new file unpacked properly, but when I run ROMupgradeUT.exe, I still get ROM Image file not found error.
It seems like the ROM file was not properly unpacked. The ROM file size that I got from unpacking is only 76,597,264b, but WINRAR is showing 87,941,052byte.
Could you please re-upload good file? Thanks again in advance.

Today I found the English ROM has been re-uploaded again, and confirmed it has NOT broken this time.
Confirmed OK now. Finally, I can flash my Chinese Hermes to English version. Thanks to whoever that have fixed this.
I posted the ROM. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I started a thread in Howard forums awhile back about getting the ROM from my contact. I reuploaded it yesterday. Hope everything works out for everyone. I have been using the new ROM (Dopod Asia) for over 2 weeks now. Seems stable.

Do you have the Chinese ROM with you? I am thinking of reverting back to Chinese ROM before I return this one to get a new replacement unit due to screen alignment problem.

I should just like to thank you for doing this.
Something in this rom fixed a serious audio problem I was having with TCPMP and another 3rd party MP# player (I can't remember).
I would be curious if anyone's reception has improved with this newer radio version as well.

hey every one,i guess it will works,just found this on a Chinese forum,its a rooted official rom (with arabic and full Chinese support too) i used google translation and i am downloading the room right now,its a zip file so i'm not sure yet about how i will install it on my device(am running the same version but not rooted) but i guess even if its not installable version damn its rooted so we are so close,we just need to transform it ,i will let u know as soon as i try

Edit : its an official rom with root privilege but i couldnt install it cause i dont have cwr ,can any one convert it to *.img so unrooted people can install it ? ?

i realized that when the download was complete,am sorry,i wanted it to be a signed rooted room,so we can get the stupid 2.42.415.1 rooted

Flashing a phone means inserting a new ROM over the old one, in most cases.
Though you can flash a new baseband for example.
Flashing is basically changing something in the phone at software level.

- MD5 (i know we can convert words to MD5 encryption with market softwares... but what a hell is it?hehehe, what does it do? and how can i know my phone MD5 using a MD5 checker as is asks me for a file? what file? why?)

- what is a leaked rom????? why it's for advanced people?
- what is a nonandroid backup???? how do i do it Nd why to do it?

We had Flash support with GB, however in later versions no flash support. I fail to understand the reason, y flash is supported in GB and was withdrawn from later versions. thinking technically, it should be still possible to have flash enabled on current ROM's.
Any suggestions and thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Idk why adobe thought of stopping official support for flash on ics and up.
But there are ways you could get it.

Actually i tried installing few flash packages before posting but was unsuccessful, however found a working package from this website :

ive had issues with my mic on samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 after installing cm 10.1 nightly. the person im calling cant hear me using the mic of the headphone. Someone found a solution but did not elaborate enough on the steps. im new to android. maybe you guys could help me. heres what she said----- "I've fixed the problem with flashing the baseband\modem from the latest firmware matching exactly to my device and region from sammobile.com.
You can flash the complete stock firmware image via odin and than reflash your favorit custom rom via cwm,, or you just extract the modem out of the firmware and only flash this by keeping your actual rom." ----

1. don't bump your own thread - XDA rules states you can't bump a thread for 24 hours! Learn the rules!
2. Go to 'about tab' take a screen shot and upload it here so i can see what version of the tab, modem, build you're using etc,
3. you ever thought of reverting back to stock ? 4.2.x Roms are no where near stable enough (in my opinion) for daily drivers!
i cant find a tutorial online on how to go back to 4.1.x from 4.2.x. my stock rom was 4.0.4 and i dont like the UI of ICS. its very lousy. there arent that many tutorials about android. and most of the tutorial arent step by step.

my model number is p3100, baseband: p3100xxlhz
android version: 4.2.2
cyanogenmod version: 10.1-20130412-nightly-p3100 (latest nightly)
and if i downgrade the firmware to 4.1.x, can i restore my apps using nandroid backup? or the image will just go back to 4.2.2? i dont wanna lose all the apps and tweaks that i installed. thank you
nevermind, i will just wait for the next nightly. the next one will fix the mic problem. thats the problem that ive had so far. thank you for the reply
