Im having a problem sending mms messages, I can receive mms just fine mine will not send pics or any small video. Im running stock rom and im not rooted. I have called att and they gave me a claim number and will be back with before 8-20-11. I came from an iphone 4 and i have never had a problem with mms messages before. Thanks in for any help!!!
I have been using Hyperdrive ROM for months. Most everything works great, but I am having a problem with sending images via messaging. I normally use Text Secure for my text messages but use stock messaging when trying to send a photo (because text secure distorts the pictures). In neither program do attached pictures ever go through. I always get an "error sending message" (text secure) or "failed mms" (stock messaging) when a picture is attached. Normal SMS go through just fine.
Please help!!
I seem to get the message sporadically when receiving pics via mms. Also seems to be only from when receiving mms from iPhone users. I am on a nexus 5 with at&t. Any ideas? I receive mms pic fine 95% of the time.
Anyone else had issues with MMS on the new Google messenger app? I was able to send but not received. Once I switched to hangouts everything worked fine.
I am on the new lollipop BTW.
You have to set Messenger as your default SMS app.
I was able to send/receive SMS frome Messenger on my N5 with Lollipop.

Lol it was my default messaging app. Also I'm talking about MMS not SMS. SMS did work fine.
MMS is working fine for me. Sending and receiving. I don't know why Hangouts would work and not Messenger.
My S5 can't send sms messages, but can send mms. Yesterday my wife S4 started having the same problem. Here are the details of my phone. Has anyone else had this issue?
