HTC One M8 Touchscreen issues - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Hi guys, I'm on my 2nd device now with the same problem. Basically, the top of the touchscreen acts odd. It will allow some touch response, but it appears that it is registering 2 individual presses. Please see the pics for more info. I'm not sure what is causing this.
This happened on my first M8 and was replaced by Verizon. I've had this device now for over 7 months with no problem until a few days ago. I have tried hard rebooting, recalibrating the touch screen, complete wipe and fresh install.
Any ideas? Thanks guys.

I've reflashed it, but it is the same...
It won't do a hard reset to, i dosen't response.
After a little bit of agresive shakeing it started, but after the first restart it stuck again.
It seems to be looseing some contact inside the phone.
I've fixed it. I didn't sleep all night
The problem was with flat cable that was out of its contact place, I think it is because I've droped the phone once yesterday.

NEED HELP. Unresponsive touchscreen & phantom touches

Hello, to the Admin/Moderators. If there is already a solution, please close this thread.
I have sent my Moto G for a replacement under warranty but it is taking so long. As I was told, the company responsible in replacing my device has made an LCD Screen order and it has not yet reach their technicians. So it has been 2 weeks.
I just want to ask, is there already a possible fix for this problem? if there is, may I know what's the solution?
Here are a few pictures with Visual Touches enabled from Developer Options.

Quick Start Guide

Hi all, I just got bored and started to read the n5 quick start guide for the first time. I've owned this phone for almost a year and I'm very happy with it.
Anyways, the quick start guide says not to touch the antenna unnecessarily. I think this is weird because I don't see any antenna I'm able to touch from the outside.
Is there anyone who knows why they put this in the quick start guide?

Dead 3a with unusual display

I have a friend who sent me this pic of her 3a that she said died suddenly while talking on the phone. I tried to tell her the steps for a hard reset and also for booting into recovery, but she says it only either goes to black screen or the screen in the pic. Since I'm not there and can't try it myself, I'm not sure if she's trying the reset / recovery button sequence properly.
Has anyone seen a screen that looks like this? If so, is it a hardware failure?
TIA for any input.
