I have a galaxy s6 920P and there's only roms for other versions so I've tried them.. They work, however I have a little circle with a slash through it for my service icon.. So my service is broken with ANY Rom. Also I have sprint, even sprint roms break it. I assume because of 920p, anyway can I fix this? This stock rom is too laggy for me.
Do not flash other ROMs not made specific for 920P. They have different radios. Flashing other ROMs disables this resulting in your experience. You can try flashing this Sprint 5.1.1. 920P ROM:

Hi
I would like to know if it is possible to flash Galaxy s6 edge g925p into a any official version without bloatware?
thanks
- Do you mean you want to flash G925F custom rom on G925P? If you do, you will need A sprint G925P kernel to boot it. You will have at least of problems A no SIM found error. No phone use of any kind. No fix for this.
Or it may just not boot with "specific-kernel-reqired" roms (back-to-N0t3 rom)!
Not recommended.
- Do you want A debloated rom? There are plenty for G925P (Renegade db rom, joshuaa ro).Or debloat from PC (search for S6 debloat tools). What I've done is use "Root Toolbox" to freeze any app I'm certain I don't need. The phone is very smooth and stable this way.
- !! Either way, DO NOT flash any Official non-G925P firmwares from Odin!!

Can i change my g925p rom to g925v.beacuse V version support band 3
Look . I think we know what OP is asking. How do you flash another carriers firmware onto his phone for example.:
Flash a sprint sm-g925p cdma edge 6 Locked
Tmobile sm-g925t gsm edge 6 easy to unlock
He said nothing about flashing anything official or non official. I think i get it. Its something only the god dam haji freaking cell stores can so huh.
Look . We know that its being done. You just dont want to tell anyone how to do it. As to not unsettle the herd and lessen that 100 dollar bill for the cord unlock. I know 2 things are possible.Leo c li ppaid a haji cell to UNLOCK my sprint CDMA SAMSUNG GALAXY s6 . First time he installed this small chipset behind the sim card is now gsm . Tmobile gsm on metro / tmobile prepaid. I know for a fact because. So kindly pm me on how to do this.
So now that I'm running a rooted S7 on Verizon (G930V), I'm looking into custom ROMs. Everything I can find seems to be for other variants. Is there anything for the G930V? I can't seem to figure out how to tell when most of the ROM's don't specify.
In the forums for the G935V they only have the firmware from the G935U, plus some minor changes to the U's firmware to allow Wi-Fi calling, etc. on Verizon's network.
I would assume that you could do the same, but make sure you only use the G930 and not G935's firmware. That's all that really exists at this time because the bootloaders are still locked and I'm not sure if there is a working method of TWRP around for the S7/E variants in the US.
I bought this phone recently and immediately jumped into the rom scene to see what stock roms I could load up. I have tried Ressurection Remix, Carbon, and Lineage. All three of them refuse to make or receive calls when I'm on LTE; from what I understand from searching through the forums is that it might have something to do with VoLTE. I tried to disable it via build.prop but nothing changed and as I mentioned prior attempted to install other roms. I'm going back to stock for now because it makes little sense to only run the phone on 3G only in fear of missing calls.
Model: FRD-L14
Carrier: MetroPCS (It shares the same network as T-Mobile)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly your best bet would just to stick with stock for now until the main Developers get more things fixed because no custom ROM supports VoLTE and there have been numerous reports that T-Mobile has a problem with custom roms.
My G920p was modified to look like a g920f with possibly a custom rom....flashing a stock g920p rom will return it to normal....so is it possible for me to maybe flash other g920f custom rom like xtrestolite,S8 port or even alliance rom without anything happening to the phone??

The ROM you are using was for a different device but ported to your phone. For example my s6 e+ says its a 920f with the lineage 15.1 ROM I am using to get Oreo. But the ROM works with s6 and s6 e and s6e + as well as s note 5. Its NexusOS-8.1.0-zerofltexx-20180113 that I am using.
Yes but the main thing i want to know is can i flash another g920f rom on to it maybe like the nemesis s8 port...without the phone reverting to its original g920p cause if it does that i will be unable to use any sim on it due to the fact that it was originally made for sprint only.....ive seen some people saying after they flash some roms they get the emergency calls only where the service bar is supposed to be
Hello,
I recently got a G7 power T-mobile variant and was trying to get it working on safelink wireless a Verizon mvno. I have it network unlocked and bootloader unlocked and have been able to flash custom roms and my sim is detected but I can't seem to get any calls texting or data on it. I've been perusing the forum here reading everything I can on the issue and feel like I'm 90% of the way there but missing something. For anyone that has gotten Verizon working on their T-mobile G7 please help with how you managed to do it.
I flashed RR and then the Verizon modem but that didn't work. I'm going to try flashing back to stock T-mobile to see if I can get some connectivity.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
I have already flashed a custom rom to my phone that hasn't had connectivity and the issue is that the custom rom you flashed to your phone doesn't have your regional code for ur area and the tz.mbn file needs to be updated with your area's cod or just re-flash another custom rom because it's rare on how many times I have had to erase completely re-installed new and different Operating Systems to my phone just to learn and try different Roms and only twice have I got a Rom that doesn't support my data.
So just try a different rom from RR and it should be able to work? Should I do a comletely clean install like, wipe system then flash or flash stock rom, then do custom rom over the top?
