Hi all. Just got my s6 (g920f) and rooted it. It is running 5.1.1 (official from SS). I assume that rooting causes that msg (in title) to pop up. Any way I can get rid of it? Thanks

I bought a second hand S4 mini, which apparently is locked to a foreign provider (not available in my country). Nice surprise that was. Trying to fix this, I rooted my S4 mini I9195 succesfully (I think). I flashed "recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.7-serranoltexx.tar.zip" and "S4Mini_RootKit_v1.zip", without any special warnings or issues. So far so good.
However, if I reboot my phone after the flashing, it still gives a warning message that a simlock is present. I was assuming that by installing the rooted firmware the simlock would be removed as well, but apparantly I am still missing something. Could you guys give me advice how to proceed?

I believe that a "simlock" is at the hardware level.
So flashing any software will most likely have no change.
I found this
^It's for the note 3 but it has some interesting links in the article.
Have fun!

Supposedly that does not trip the Warranty bit on Knox as its all done on the phone, no use of unlocking or flashing any other bootloaders/recoveries.
You can just flash a stock non-carrier rom using odin. No need for root.
Don't forget to boot the new firmware and then boot into recovery (home +vol up ×power) and factory reset to debrand completely
Can this be done with the G s7e as well? On the Three network also., I have grabbed the BTU Fw from SamM hoping this is the unbranded Fw. Can anyone confirm this please.

Unroot Note 3 android 5.1.1
Hello, I recently was given a rooted T-mobile Note 3. The guy who gave it to me, tried either updating or wiping it and it got stuck in a boot loop. I was able to get it out by simply putting it into download mode and taking it out. But then it has a never-ending "unfortunately google app has stopped" error. But it works if I create a new profile; google play doesn't work though.
So anyways, I need to unroot it so I can activate it. The android version is 5.1.1 the only version I can find is 5.0 I read that downgrading when unrooting will trip some anti-root switch: However I couldn't find anything saying if this would happen going from 5.1.1 to 5.0.
Any help is appreciated. thanks.

Hey so I was wondering if I could keep my root after installing the default os or something similar.
So I rooted my phone with a custom OS and it worked all fine. I then logged into my google account and worked fine. I restarted my phone and then at the top it just says Custom Binary blocked by FRP.
I have fixed it so I can use it but I was wondering if I could root it and then remove it somehow? That was the only issue I was having when I did that. Rooting worked and everything just I need to know a way to either delete FRP or Get around it where I won't see it again. Hopefully this makes some sense.
Android Version: 6.0.1
Model Number: SM-G920P
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6
If you need anymore info let me know.

Greetings and welcome to assist. This is for the edge variant but the principal is the same, you need to turn off OEM lock
