so i have my htc one and im trying to get the latest lollipop update without doing an ruu im on stock 4.4.2 but the bootloader is unlocked and i have a custom recovery and kernel. is there anyway i could return to stock recovery and does it matter if i have a custom kernel or not if i want to take an ota.

Really need help
I currently have a orange HTC m8
I recently rooted it because of all the software that comes with it, so I thought rooting it I would be able to get rid of the boat ware, and maybe install a another Rom, so when the new ota update was due I wanted to unroot and go back to normal so I'd be able to get the ota update so I used a step my step guide on how to unroot, I uprooted, relocked the bootloader, and tamper flag is there too, I couldn't find the same Cid number as my old one so I read some where u can use a different one so I did that and everything seemed ok but now I can't update because it says I need to revert back to official htc softwar?

[Q] Need to revert to stock kernel on AT&T HTC One M8, where is the proper kernel?
DISCLAIMER: I am new to this, and may have totally ****ed up, need some help.
Where can I find a working stock kernel for 4.4.2? If all else fails, could TWRP and relocking the bootloader help? I already tried to install the kernel from htcdev.com, kept booting into fastboot.

I have a htc One M8 GPE and I decided to unlock its bootloader and root it to flash a rom on it. I did not make a backup of my original stock rom before I did this though. I now want to go back to the GPE edition of my phone, but am not able to. I am not even able to turn s-off, I have tried moonshine, sunshine, and firewater, neither of which have worked. Please Help!!

I have a rooted htc one m8 and i want to flash a rom to it. do i absolutely need to S-OFF? i would like to push a lollipop build to it when it gets released

How do I deodex my phone or do I even need to, to install a rom/theme? I mean I've been trying to install the Dragon rom by Team Var and my phone won't go past the htc Powered by android screen. Also is there a rom for Boost Mobile HTC Desire 510 phones or kernel for lollipop? Also I'd like to know if I need to re-lock my boot loader?
