Hello,
after rooting my device using Odin my phone just got stucked in recovery mode.
I don't have CWM or TWRP just the stock version.
I can't access download mode and when I tried to install a custom rom it's just writes - E: failed to verify whole-file signature.
I am really stuck and nothing seems to work.
please help me!

I had put my phone on charging and after i took off the wire, the phone hanged. So i restarted the phone, and the process stopped on SAMSUNG logo. Nothing happening further.
So i decided to flash a new rom, but while i was wiping cache, an error occurred - E: Error opening ' /data/app-lib'
and while updating partition details, it said - E: Unable to stat ' /data/app-lib'
so now i am unable to install a new rom.
Please help
Thanks

Hello, I'm a newbie on this android thing.
I tried to install CM 7.2 on my Galaxy Young but it turned out to be a very bad rom; Wi-Fi and camera didn't work. I finally found a good room, (or at least I think it's good) in this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-y/development/rom-t2866838 but now my recovery won't work. It gets stucked and the phone restarts. I try to install a new recovery from ODIN, since the original recovery won't start and the process fails, I don't know if I'm downloading the wrong recovery or I just bricked the phone.
So, please, would you guys tell me if anything can be done? or how do I install a new recovery so I can get the rom working
Thanks in advance! Have a good night.

Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! You need to make sure you have the right recovery for your device, and then just flash it in fastboot mode. If you have any more difficulties, please register and ask your questions here: Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.

Hey folks!
A few days ago, i rooted my Samsung Galaxy A5 (Sm-a500fu) with Kingroot, which was no problem.
Yesterday i decided to install TWRP as custum recovery. I downloaded it, and flashed it with Flashify. The really next boot got blocked with the error message: "Custom binary blocked by reactivation lock; secure fail: recovery". The only avaiable thing was download mode.
So I looked for a solution on google and all it was saying was to flash the stock rom again. I tried to flash it with Odin3 but right after the start i got a "FAIL!" in Odin.
Now I don't know what to do because I don't want to lose the data (esp Images) on my phone. I found a solution that could work: Download a "Pit-File", hit the repartition checkbox in odin and then start.
After that, the other problem persists: The reactivation lock is still there
Is anyone able to help me?

So I was going about doing my business, I rooted and flashed a custom XPosed framework build and after that my device got stuck in a TRWP bootloop, it will not go boot into anything but that.
(When rebooting from TRWP it says "No OS installed, are you sure you want to reboot?"
And when I try to flash a custom/stock ROM it gives me the error "E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/ROMNAME.zip' "
Details:
Samsung Galaxy J5, SM-500FN, TWRP v2.8.7.0, Odin cannot recognize the phone while in TRWP which is the only possible state and the PC cannot access it's files, I need to use SD cards to get files on it.
Thanks a LOT to anyone helping me.

I am using a copy version on Samsung galaxy note 4 SM N9100. i searched a lot about installing custom recoveries. I saw odin is one of the best , but couldn't use it as my device was not recognized. then used flashr to install a philiz recovery and it warned my that i have 0 mb partition or something like that. but i was not sure and pressed OK, it said success and gave a option to boot on recovery mode. i tried. But it dint load the recovery mode. at first the Samsung logo cam then restarted again. but after restarting its not detecting any of my sim cards. what can i do now. i have taken a back up before but even cant restore it as i cant go to the previous recovery mode. the reason i tried to install the custom recovery because the default recovery mode dint allow me to install zip file. please help me. I'm in a very bad position. I love my android very much
