It's good No FC yet Better Battery than CM for me, Missing only Native Screen Record feature tats not an issue at all....Try it and like pitch black theme....

so no other rom can compete this? can u plz let me know if u can ask someone else who tries many rom..cuz am leaving for hostel in few days and wanna take a good rom with me.(i dnt know how good is the wifi there and i am not taking my laptop for the first year :silly::angel:)HELP ME OUT

Here are some basic rules you guys need to know before posting issues
1) DO NOT report issues if you didn't do full wipe
2) If you have issues then please mention your model number and variant and also if youve flashed any additional mods
3) Provide logcats if you have any FCs or bootloops
4) DO NOT report issues if you flash custom kernel
5) Do NOT post information and features and comparison of other ROMS
6) Flash GAPPS after every release to avoid issues with Google apps FCs

Oh, woah! Android 5.1 already? This is awesome! Okay, before flashing, I've a few questions. Can I dirty flash it over Varun's CM12 nightly(Official CM12 still on 5.0.2? )? Also, is the video recording the same as CM12? There was a lot of lag there. :/

I recommend u to do clean flashing and about the video recording I didn't find any lag
Initial Review
Clean installed anyways. ^.^
This Rom is simply amazing! Everything works! There's no lag in video recording at all! (Which still seems to be there in official CM12)
Things I liked -
-Real responsive
-Quick bootup
-So many customization options
-App opening and closing time has reduced a lot
-Changes brought in by 5.1 (Obviously! )
-More distance between Nav keys
Some things I didn't like + Bugs -
-Bootanimation doesn't go with the Rom.
-Usual CM12 bugs such as HDR doesn't work, Flashlight doesn't turn off, Missing LED Colour Control (Only pulse speed and duration is available)
-Looks like we forgot to include the FM Radio
-I kinda didn't like the bold and italic in the dropdowns/menus in Quick settings.
-FaceUnlock acts weird - Doesn't tell you if it has recognized the face or not. (Could be an issue with the gapps but I still suspect it to be SystemUI)
Some things are just personal opinion. So, yeah. Some of us may like what others don't. Overall, it's fabulous. Sticking to this as my daily driver.

How long does it usually take for first boot? mine been loading the resurrection remix logo for about 5min now

BSOD happens when you flash thunderzap kernel. But if you stick with the ROMs stock kernel there will be no BSOD.

Setup wizard crash fixed ?
SD as internal works?
Setup wizard failed and sd card work as internal but on attaching with computer it doesn't show sd card
Clean flashed the rom with nano open gapps.
Setup wizard was good for me. Camera was not saving the image. Didn't tried adopt sd card due to some reason. And the last thing the rom was lagging like hell.

Question: can I easily upate from cm13 to resurrection remix 6.0.1, or should I do a factory reset? I just want a rom where I can use the sd card as internal memory. With cm13 this is impossible. Anyone can confirm this works in this rom?

I think you must factory reset everything first.

I have installed the ROM and it is fantastic BUT CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE ARE CUSTOM KERNEL FOR THIS ROM I CAN ONLY FIND KERNEL FOR STOCK ROM I even used the lollipop version of resurrection remix and it was awesome took great work...

Q : I get error 255 while flashing from recovery
A : Flash using correct TWRP Download it here Here!
Q : Is root access included in this Rom?
A : No it is not. It is however available via adb. Some testers have had success with Magisk though.
Can I flash ABC mod? Does the ROM support it?
A : Yeah sure, but I will not support you. And no, the ROM probably does not support it.
Q : Android go, when?
A : As of 28th Feb it is not present but the next build will have it for 1 GB users.
Is VOLTE supported ?
A : No.
Q : Can I flash XYZ kernel?
A : No, there's a fair number of kernel changes from Nougat to Oreo.
Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Yes, Looks like all basic daily usage stuff is functional

best oreo 8.1 ROM till now for our land
bt there is an issue with substratum sometimes during system ui reboot it gets stuck on black screen don't know why , and then i have to reboot the system ?

Ya i have faced it too but it happens sometimes and after a restart the overlay is applied! Will fix in next update!

2. SElinux toggle

4. a QS tile for expanded desktop

I cannot add those things by myself! It will be updated once the candy source team does it!

Didn't get much of a response for the rom! Didn't think users are using it so didn't pay that much attention! Anyways will give an update in 2,3 days!
