Hi everyone,
I've recently decided to buy the OPO, so far it's been an awesome phone (coming from a Moto X 2014) but I have a question, as title says, what is this issue with the touch screen? I have no "ground" problems but I do see some kind of "stutter" when trying to scroll up and down while keeping my finger on the screen, is this related to the issue at all? If it can be fixed then it'd be awesome.
I've also read that it may be related to the weird 63 Hz refresh rate but I'm not really sure...
Any ideas? I've tried a couple kernels and played around with the settings, but to no avail..
PS: Does anyone know how to reduce the strange Android OS "battery drain"?

Hello friends. My S200 has been shut down since some time ago e flashed a rom (PV 4.0.0.0.6, something like that) and my screen started to display only some vertical random stripes.
I can still control de machine via PC only when activesync is running. Witch means i can't see if my phone is g3 or g4 while booting.
BTW the touch screen works perfectly and it's adjusted perfecly.
I knew it before but i can't really remember. Is there a way for me to know that by other ways?
I believe my issue is software related since from times to times the screen would become normal from times to times and i think a reflash could solve the problem.
Can someone help me? Thanks in advance
Seriously people. 1000+ views and not even an answear. C'moonnn

HI all I have a problem with GT-P6200: at a minimum level of brightness, the screen starts to flicker a little. It does not matter whether the 3g or automatic brightness control. Flicker is difficult to see an untrained eye. But it definitely is. What do you think - is it faulty screen or not? And did anyone notice it at itself tablet?
P.S. sorry for my English, I am first time in English-language forum

Hello, I too have the same problem.

We hope that with Android 4.0 goes well.
Hi guys, I'm new in this forum, and need your help!
I've flashed CROMi-X 4.7.0 on my TF700 and loved it, now its very responsive and fast. My Asus always had a issue about the display colors. The white colors looks yellowish, causing the most impacting on videos, making them looks darker than should be.
I don't know if its a problem with my device but I don't have a choice for Asus repairs because I live in Brazil and the TF700 was not released here.
Knowing this problem I always used Screen Adjuster app to correct the Blue color and looked better, but I didn't noticed any performance issue with it because my tablet was sluggish all the time.
With CROMi-X I noticed the performance issues with Screen Adjuster. When enabled, the navigation became slightly slower.
I tried other apps for correcting colors but they all have this same problem.
I wanna ask you guys if you know a way for me to correct the colors in a way that don't affect performance.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.
Some of the more knowledgeable people around here may be able to shed some more light on the situation, but from what i understand it isn't possible to adjust those things with the tegra3 chip. I know this was a problem with the Nexus 7 and the kernel devs all said it was due to the tegra3. I would assume it is the same here.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app
I'd assume it's possible to load a gamma ramp into the display controller, but I don't know how.

Imo all the display 'configuration' apps incur a hit on the infinity. Be it, gamma adjusters, notification bar hiders or colour enhancers. The extra layer that is basically interpreting what should be displayed seems to cause performance issues.

Not if you program the hardware LUT directly. I found the relevant registers in the Tegra DRM, and there appears to be an ioctl in the kernel to set it (TEGRA_DC_EXT_SET_LUT). I didn't research yet how to do this from usermode.
After being spoilt by my GS4 etc I'd love the ability to change these settings
Hey guys,
just got my 1+1. Ran some tests.
During the gamma detection tests in the Display Tester app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester&hl=de I experience a constant and overall display flickering during several tests (e.g. the third one). Normally, and as I know from my Nexus 5, the flickering stops immediately after swiping to the next test. In my case, it stays in some cases. I already got feedback from another user which does not have this with his 1+1.
I also get those flickering with the first viewing angle test.
What do u guys think about this?
Thanks!

I'm facing flickering in my google pixel 3xl. You found any solutions?
Hi all, I have been using a OnePlus 7 Pro since June and it's been going great for me.
However, recently I've noticed that if I press a bit harder (almost like a force touch) on the top middle-ish part of the display, I can hear a distinctive creaking, almost popping noise from the phone? This sound doesn't come from pressing harder on any other part of the display, just that middle area. It doesn't appear to be causing any problems so far, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their device? Haven't found anything on the internet just yet...I'm worried that it'll become an actual problem later on.
I'm on stock OOS Android 10 Beta 4, but I don't believe this is a software issue (hopefully it's not). Side note though, I do notice that my device still suffers from ghost touches and is parts of the display are nonresponsive occasionally.
Thanks for the help!
I have the same popping on the upper middle of the phone ever since I got the phone in May. But, as you say, not causing any issues....yet. don't have ghost touches and non-responsiveness. I'm on Pie still.

Very weird...I wonder if this is a common issue or not; doesn't seem like it. I thought upgrading to Android 10 would fix the ghost touches (pretty sure I read something related to that somewhere before) but I guess not; almost seems like it added more ghost touches than before lol
mine is fine
I've been using this phone since it came out and I have nothing close to what you describe my screen is completely fine.
