[Q] In-Call headphone volume too low? - Xiaomi Mi 4

When I connect my headphones and listen to music, volume is pretty loud.
When I get a call, the volume during the call through the headphone is very low. Is that a standard thing in MI4?
I replaced one mi4 with another, and that also has the same issue.
If its a standard issue, is there any fix for that?

That might help. If you don't have CWM or TWRP recovery, you can unpack zip and copy /system/etc/*.xml files to phone with Root Browser or similar app. Remember to set same permissions as original files.

X10 Ringer volume

So we have root!
Somebody known app or tweak to increase the ringer volume?
Thx
I have no idea!
The volume of the ringer in my X10i is also too bad.
sometime I can't hear what the people said.
I also want to know how to change it.
So no one found a way to increase the ringer volume? I feel sometimes that I am going deaf. I may have to change my ringtone, but this is really annoying missing calls while you are driving.
Ringer as well as incall volume is too low in the X10.

true, but at least I can illuminate the in call volume issue with using bluetooth headset but the ringer...
This is weird that there is no hack for it.
Just use a decent ringtone, I've not found the volume to be a problem.
hey guys
i know theres not a hack for the volume ringer, but what i did was i use a program which can edit music files on my PC, and i just increase the actual volume of the file itself. then i transfer it to my phone and it plays a lot louder on the speaker. hopefully that can work for some of u
the program i use is called 'cool edit pro' however im sure theres a couple of programs which can do the same thing.
the effect is called 'increase amplitude', i usually use a scientific filter to decrease the amount of base in a song (which hte x10's speakerphone distorts anyways) and then increase the amplitude by about 10dB's. makes it a lot louder on the actual phone vs just putting the original mp3 in.

Ringtone is decent, volume sucks.
Thanks for your solution but that wasn't what I was looking for. I want to explode my speaker and I am looking for a hack.
Cheers,
search google for editing audiopara.csv, not sure how to do it myself as I find the volume to be mostly fine, but that is the key to changing it
just lookied at my /system dump, it's actualy audiofilter.csv on x10, and it's in system/etc

[Q] [CM] [4G] Headphone volume to loud, DSP-Manager not working?

Hi @ all,
I recently purchased the Moto G and installed (after testing all functions) the newest Cyanogen ROM. I'm quite happy with the overall performance of the device.
One problem is still annoying me though: The volume of every type (ringtone, in-call,...) of the headphone jack is much too loud, even on its lowest setting, since I'm using very high efficiency IEM's. The DSP-Manager doesn't appear to work (does not request root access, no change in volume when activated)
I've countered some parts of this issue with the following steps:
-The music volume is lowered by the Poweramp equalizer
-The volume of all custom ringtones, notifications and alarms is lowered by 15dB via Mp3Gain on my rig. This doesn't really help, because now the volume of all custom sounds is too low without the headphones. I barely get up in the morning, but it is definitely better than blowing out my eardrums.
So the question is: How can I activate the DSP-Manager? Or is there another way to solve this?
Thx a lot
EDIT: Solved the problem by increasing the overall volume steps to 45 via modification of the necessary .jar file via this great guide (http://chrisdube.com/increase-number-of-volume-steps-in-android/). DSP-MAnager works, but only with media volume.

[Q] Bluetooth Speaker Too Loud On 4.4.4

Hi everyone...
I just got a problem since updating to 4.4.4, and after searching for several days, I still can't get the workaround.
So, I'm using a jabra bluetooth speaker.
When I'm at 4.4.2, the media sound on the bluetooth speaker and the phone is unlinked. So, usually I set the phone media volume at around medium, and then using bluetooth speaker, I can go to near unheard, or loud enough. Even, if I want, I can completely turn off the audio by minimizing both the bluetooth speaker sound and the phone media.
But, since I upgraded to 4.4.4, both device media volume are linked. So, if I press volume up on my speaker, my phone audio goes up as well. And, the main problem is, even the lowest sound (it reached 0 on the phone media volume), the sound still TOO LOUD for me.
Is there any fix? Besides downgrading, if possible.
Not sure I understood how it works with your BT speaker but with my car BT handsfree I just set the volume from the phone and only the BT volume gets changed (the volume slider shows the BT icon). Well, or at least I didn't bother to check the media volume. But that one is sure disconnect in 4.4.4 from the system/notification/ring volumes which are all connected. And the voice call volume doesn't get modified either.

Help! Xperia Z2. I'm struggling getting it louder.

Hi developer dudes. I'm new to this site and all this rooting stuff. I've been searching for a way and trying different techniques to boost the headset volume on my phone. I've successfully rooted and installed recovery mode. I've tried installing a couple volume boost zips off some forums on here with recovery and the zips actually decreased the headphone volume. they had a link following right after with a zip to revert to stock. one of the revert zips restored my music volume but totally disabled my ear speaker volume, however one of them fixed everything so my phone is okay again. it just makes me iffy and hesitant with trying out more custom roms.
I've also tried ES File Explorer and changing the HPHL and HPHR to a higher number with guidance from youtube and it didn't do anything. I've also tried mtk engineering (some number that starts with*#*# and ends with *#*#) and it doesn't work for the xperia z2.
Please help me out developers with this. I want zip to install that simply raises ONLY the headphone music volume WITHOUT changing the sound quality of music.. I believe 128 is the volume limit manufacture have it set to and 160 I believe is the highest which is what I'm aiming for. All I want is louder music through my headphones, that's it. everything else about this phone is perfect as is.
Thanks for taking the time to read and thanks for your support!

In Call volume very loud even at to lowest

Normally people find that the call volume on their phone is very low but mine on the contrary is very loud even if I lower it as much as I can both with the headphone and without it using the headset speaker. Is it possible to lower it by modifying some settings something like the opposite of The sound mod. My phone is rooted so it should be easy right?
I install the sound mod and it still the same so I reinstalled the stock version
