I'd like to find leather case without the front flip/folio design. Something similar to the OEM Samsung case but in leather. I haven't been able to find one, as they all have the front flip.

Like I said, I'd like something similar to that but without a front flip/wallet/folio on it.
If you have deep enough pockets, id say go for the MontBlanc Meisterstück case. Had it for a few months, absolutely love it! Although I rarely use it so may sell if the price is decent.

EVERYYONE ASKS ME ABOUT MY SCREEN PROTECTOR looool. Even when i list up cases etc on ebay people private message just ask what make my screen protector is and someone asked on another forum same thing. People just love my white/gold phone
Its just a generic one i bought from ebay for £1 lol nothing special. Found it way better then most £5-6 ones ive bought of ebay before leaving behind nasty halo affect. This is almost perfect. But it being white cant really see the right side halo but its because its slightly off or else itd be perfect as my other note 4.

Ah OK, guess you're in the UK then.
I've tried a total of 5 screen protectors for my Note 4, iLoome, iCarez, Cailifu, Coolbo and intelliArmor. The last 3 I listed are full edge-to-edge coverage.

I also have a similar one to this, Zenus Metallic Diary Synthetic Leather. Feels nice in hand and has better protection than other s-view type cases which don't support the sides when falling. not my type of case but maybe itl suit you.

From what I've read its one of the best cases you can buy, I don't use it because it makes your phone as big as a HTC G1/Dream. I do use the Case-mate Barely There chrome snap-on case and from what I have personally found out is that they make the highest quality cases that I have bought for my Nexus One.

I use this case as well as the new Otterbox Commuter case and they are both very good quality cases. I believe that the Otterbox offers a little more protection and feels better and is easier to pull out of your pocket but all in all, this is a good sturdy case! I do like the fact that you have different color options whereas the Otterbox does not yet...

I just got the Tough Case like 3 days ago. It is amazing! I don't think it makes the the phone that much larger, I actually like the texture and sturdiness of the case, its pretty smooth.
Had mine just over a week, love it. Good fit, good feel, free decent screen protector.

case mate Tough Case is the best so far. i have two buddy's at work and they have different ones that cost them about 8 bucks ,and they ask me were to get it and i told them . ever since i had it i don't have any problem and trust me i recommended to every one...

The holes match up perfectly and the silicone and abs are snug to each other.

lookin good crxtasi! when can i get my barely there?
I have a casemate gelli, it's pretty awesome. Very snug, minimal bulk, and looks great. Sure not as much protection as some other cases, but certainly increases the drop protection.

I've had this case since it was released for the N1 and love it....never have to carry my wallet around with me anymore
Well it should be here in a couple of days. I really need to get a case on my N1! And I like the added feature of the card holder, in this day and age all you need is a 20. Dollar bill I'd and debit/ credit card

Looks good. I prefer innocase 2 by seidio. Very happy with mine and well worth the money IMHO. it looks more streamline than the pics ive seen on this thread.
The problem with the barely there case is the lack of protection on the bottom and top of the phone. That is where I got 90% of the scratches on my g1.

You could get the official ones by HTC. They take minimalism to a whole new level bit the downside is its so expensive for a flimy piece of plastic. Or the feather cases by Incipio.

i ordered the black & gray ROCK cases and the case mate barely there case. the ROCK cases look nice but are definitely made for the International X. although they fit the One XL, the camera opening is about1-2 mm lower at the top. not a big issue for me at all. however, the case-mate fits perfectly and looks best! i like how the sides are angled for a perfect fit, e.g., fits the One XL's angled sides like a glove. the obvious downside is the limited protection, e.g., exposed top and bottom.
i sold both ROCK cases to a friend who has the International X and kept the case-mate. i added a couple of pics that (hopefully) show how slim and form-fitting the case-mate case is...
im going with the amzer tpu luxe arigle case had it with captivate and like it and did its job and looks good

I liked the case for the whole 5 seconds it lasted me
Funny part is that I was planning on spray painting it black cos that case only comes in orange/blue. And while i was taking the case off it snapped on me. Good thing is AT&T warranties out accessories for a whole year. I have a feeling im going to be using that warranty a lot.
You get what you ask for looking for a slim case. They don't offer any protection at all. Which for me is fine. I just don't like how hot the phone gets without a case. I ended up getting the full body zagg.

i broke my orange version of this case too. if you like to swap out cases every other day (like me) this case may not be for you because you will eventually break it, no doubt about it. i've been luckier with my blue case as it hasn't snapped on me yet.

It's not the most "minimalist" case out there but it seems sturdy enough for repeated application and removal (which is important to me since I use multiple cases). It also comes with a holster, which most slim cases do not. It also looks like it offers great protection for the camera.

It was $59.99 They weren't going to sell them til tomorrow launch but I argued because the website said they were in stock today at my local sore. Which is why I drive out there.
Could you tell me, that the back cover of s-view is the same as the normal S4 back cover ? Or It's thicker ?
There is another thread open that shows the two back covers. The s-view cover is a hair thicker.

I received my tridea s view case from Amazon, and it fits the phone perfectly. However, I'm not thrilled with the case. Here's my take:
The good: the s view feature works great, better than anticipated, and the case does a nice job of standing the phone up horizontally. The case is thin, and doesn't add much bulk at all. I like the color (I got the blue case).
The bad: the case feels cheap, almost like cardboard. I suppose this might be partly to make it thin, but I don't like the feel of it. Also, there is no protection whatsoever for the corners of the phone. I had hoped that the part that holds the phone in would come around the corners, but it doesn't. What is a case for, other than to protect the phone from drops and scratches? This case provides poor protection. Also, the cover doesn't stay closed, it just flaps around.
I'll keep using this case until someone comes up with a better s view option. I'm sure there will be more knock-offs as time goes on.

I just received my tridea s view case from Amazon today and yah the only flaw in my opinion is the corners, i like i just thought it would have more protection for corners but its fits nicely and the black looks nice. Plus i love the kickstand thats a major plus for me.

I had the Otterbox Defender for the Note 2, and it was fabulous... the confidence knowing that the phone is protected.
The Otterbox Defender for Note 8 is tempting but the cost is too much so I am considering the Poetic Evolution at half the cost....

Experience with the OD on the N2 says it does not cover the pen hatch nor the home button (also like the pics for the N8 version), where lots of dirt collects under the screen, but the PE covers everything giving more protection.
Did you do the comparison before you bought the OD?
I did not see the poetic one, looks like a decent case does it have the front snap on cover like the OD? The only other case I used was the Samung folio cover and it really doesnt offer any protection at all. I have used Otter Box in the past and they have never let me down.

Sorry I referred to the case as Evolution but its a Revolution case.

Has anyone seen the new Otterbox for the S6? they have them for preorder now and released on March 26th,
Undecided between the Symmetry and Commuter. too bad they don't seem to include a holster clip like the Defender.. the Symmetry for the S5 looked like the Defender, but i see now they changed them.. now the commuter also looks like a hybrid between the two
Which to choose? right now, looks like they're available in exclusive colors/pattern for each style.

Wow some tough choices. they all look great. I have the Defender for my S5 so I might go with the Symmetry this time around.
I have an idea - let's buy those cases and ruin all the work those designers put into designing a beatiful phone. ast iteration everyone complained - plastic here, plastic there. now it is all glass and metal and looking really classy, so let's put one of those hideous cases on it

some people work/job isn't behind a desk where protection is needed..

I'll gladly carry around and use my new glass-encased (front and back, remember?) $750 phone without a protective case, just as soon as you supply your name, address and a signed contract agreeing to reimburse me for the full cost of a replacement phone, should I accidentally drop it or whatever.
If you are not willing to supply the foregoing, then please omit the sarcasm.

Nor would I, except that you seem personally offended at the idea that anyone would use an Otterbox. I'm simply suggesting a way to make that a reality for you.
Got the Defender & Commuter cases at the Verizon store the other day. Still have no phone though.
The last picture is of the S6 Defender next to the Note 4 in it's Defender case.

The soft case doesn't feel anything like my years old communter. Different material. It's less rigid and feels cheaper.
The hard case is highly prone to get greasy from hands.

i have the otter alpha glass and black symmetry case, 128s6 back the feck ordered ..
Commuter
I have the commuter for my s6, it fits well, and in not too bulky for a case of this durability,
Any holster clips that support the commuter series? Thanks
