Thanks for your help but doesn't look like there's much info on there either, I don't understand why there's no support for the Xperia Miro on XDA?
It's a new device, be patient.
U can try this method for rooting, it works on allmost all xperia ICS devices:

or this:

I understand that the device is new but it's been out over a month. I found it relatively easy to root the device but it's more about there being no development for it. It's a cheap handset that a lot of people would go for so I would of thought there would be custom ROMs and development for it by now?

Well dude, from what I see there you already have a stock Android Rom.
But anyways here are the links
This one is a stock ICS http://d-h.st/lP5
And this one is stock Jelly Bean http://d-h.st/BeC . I get them both from here.
You might wanna take a look at what's inside this thread, it will help you.

Sir,
You have already pointed in the right direction in two other threads opened in this forum. Please understend that we are not HELP DESK here, and only for pointin users in the right direction.
Thanks for understanding.
ON: If you flash that ROM, wich is for Desire 816, you will have and very expensive toilet paper unless a smartphone. Do flash ROM's ONLY for your model EXACTLY wich we don't have until now for your device.
Good luck
Thread closed, thank you.

Hi,
usually it was possible to get the Xperia L unlock key from the folloiwng site:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/
However, it appears that the device has been removed from the available devices of that list.
Does someone have any idea for a workaround?
I wanted to flash my second Xperia L for testing purposes ...
Thanks in advance,
Henning
