Phone storage is missing after flashing
Dear Sir,
I successfully flashed the rom for my Q3000 (S011_25022014). What I did simply was replaced/merged the ROM contents as provided as per your post (only the ebr 1 and ebr2 files). After that when I started my phone the Internal storage has increased but the Phone storage is not accessible.
When I try to see it in settings It shows Mount Phone Storage option, when I click on that it tries to open and calculate the storage but goes in a few seconds with the message - Phone storage safe to remove.
Connecting it to computer as USB Storage displays the message that "the disk needs to be formatted before you can use it". Show the SD Card contents although.
Can this storage be accessed back? Or it is supposed to work like that only?

How to increase the internal storage to 7 gb in xolo q3000
I followed the details in your link but I don't know where I should select the internal storage either 2.73 or 7 gb internal space) can you kindly help?
( Now chose your storage requirement, 193,246 or 273 or 7z which corresponds to 1.93, 2.46, 2.73 and 7 GB internal space. Both and respective EBR1 and EBR2 has to loaded and please take care. )

1.How to increase the internal memory of XOLO Q 3000 from 1 gb to 7 gb. Can any one explain step by step Process through word file having picture in it as explained by puduraja in its link(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2742702&page=2) .
2.Is is required to root the device for the same?
3.Can i be able upgrade regular software updates from xolo after doing this.

Root the device, use philz latest recovery, then use rom edit for 8/16
Gb and select partition size, press ok n reboot to recovery. Now select factory reset n reboot. Done , it will take time as long as the 1st boot. Chk the phone storage n app storage. Prefer the partition size 4/5 gb.:thumbup::thumbup:

how can we flash xolo q3000 app installation memory with kitkat 4.4.2
sir i have read the posts regarding flashing the memory of xoloq3000 to 7 gb internal storage which seems very impressive.
currently my device zolo q3000 is running on kikat final version 4.4.2 by xolo , but as the problem prevails that the internal storage has not been increased due to some random reason.
i though of flashing the phone following the instructions which were provided earlier but the kernel version dated late 2013 begged the question that would this flash work or would it result in most dreaded outcome of bricking the phone?
not having much of the knowledge about how it works , there should be no harm in asking the experts about the solution or atleast the answer to the above question.
therefore, it's my very humble request to the experts please guide me and people like me through the flashing process of zolo q3000 running on kitkat 4.4.2 ver-28102014.
lastly a heartful thanks to all those who put in their important time in post solutions to problems faced by us technically challenged population.

have u taken any backup in recovery before flashing this??
If yes then restore
if not then u need to flash whole rom all over again.
If u want Jelly bean then read this
if kitkat read this.

SIr, Can you please explain in detail for a beginner. I have downloaded all the driver files & flash tool exe in my laptop. Do i need to connect the xolo q3000 to laptop. In laptop i clicked the flash tool exe & select this file "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt" from XOLO_Q3000_S003_15102013 directory. May be i am wrong & please explain step by step. Thanks in advance.

i successfully increased my internal storage to 2.7gb from 0.98gb(default for xolo q3000).
I want to increase my internal storage to 4.0gb.
can it be possible for xolo q3000?
if yes,please attach the EBR1 AND EBR2 files for 4gb like as you attached for 2.7gb.

I flashed this rom and after that i'm having issues of weak signal and second imei just doesn't show up...please help guys..
my mobile name is celkon a59 , and i dont have cwm recovery so to have i tried to change my device name by taking others device name ,my device is rooted , and with the help of es file explorer i have removed a data file from imternal memory which consists of device name and its details, after rebooting my device , all the are not working, even system apps are not working, i have a orignal copy of that data file but to copy that file none of file manager is working, i have also backed up data , after restoring it , same problem exists, so plz help me how to access internal memory of my android phone to system so that i can copy that file into internal memory.

Hi everyone , i have and Gionee Elife S5.5 , i had the KK android 4.4.2 then rooted to instal a custom room , after that i installer MIUI V6 .
After some test i was gonna to delete my last data from the KK 4.4.2 and i removed all the data with CWM recovery v2.4 : Wipe menu>Wipe All Data - Prefil ash
and now i can not instal nothing and acces my internal storage have tried to instal with adb but it keep say adb sideload failed to write data 'protocol fault (no status)' , also tried with push but same , i just have internal storage and internal battery , and the battery keep in red please help me i just have this phone since last week
When i try : instal update from zip file > choose zip from internal sdcard it say : E: can't mount /emmc/

I own Micromax bolt a089 (MTK mt6572).Here is my problem it started a week ago when i am using custom rom(xperia z3) then i decided to flash miui6(as i want to try this rom) but it stuck at boot screen then i clean phone and flash previous rom but same thing happens i tried several custom roms on it except mediamod rom but sd card is not working on it saying"No external storage available" and mount sdcard in settings is faded.so i decided to flash stock rom everything is fine but sdcard problem remain,
sdcard is working fine in pc and also detecting in recovery(cwm) as i flash roms from sdcard.
Please help me how fix this issue.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
It is possible that the SDcard is in a format the ROM does not recognize (like exFAT). If you put it back into the PC, back up the contents, reformat as FAT32 and then restore the files, it should work.

I have a strange issue in my Canvas A1 and i hope nobody would have experienced it. I flashed the Kitkat Rom once again using SP tools. and now when i add a new file or delete a file from memory card, the changes i made are not sticking to it. It reverts back to the same list of files which i had two days ago.
It seems like the memory card becomes readonly after a reboot. i tried changing the card, but my phone does not recognize the new one.
Any thoughts on this, due to this i am unable to update or flash anything, also sideload too stopped working.
Please help me
