Hello guys!
A costumer brought an Alcatel One Touch Evolve 2 with charging problems. I looked at it and found that the charging port had a broken pin, so I replaced it with a new one.
After the repair the phone charges as soon as I plugg it to the 5v 1500mAh charger but it stops right after. I changed the charger, cleaned the charging port inside and looked at it, everithing normal. I tested the voltage on the charging port contacts and the voltage is ok.
Ive noticed that if I follow the voltage tracks it drops the voltage to .96V after the first resistence. Could that be the problem?
I cant find the phone's schematic so I need to guess.
Any help?
Thanks

Hi,
You likely need an "otg cable", which is not the same as the cable that comes with the phone.

Hi. I have Goclever r70 tab, but it's second hand, not mine. I bought it a month ago, with broken charger, whose thick pin was wired with 2 wires. Accidently, I ruined it. Now I have cable with 2 wires, red and black on one side, and thick pin which goes in tablet on other side. Can you tell me which wire goes in that pin, and which wire goes on pin? I have soldering iron but don't know which wire goes where. Thank you
Hi,
If it's a regular micro USB port, a new charger and cable would be the best option. But you can ask about your issue here,

Hi there
My Xperia L doesn't charge the battery with its original ac adapter even lowers (discharges) the battery level. (LED turned on and off repeatedly)
While using the USB cable (laptop) charges it without any problems until the end (100%).
Both Battery & AC Adapter are safe.
i had installed the custom rom but it doesn't charge with ac adapter.
How do I solve this problem?

So I recently purchased a new micro-usb cable but it doesn't seem to work..PC doesn't register phone nor do other conventional usb charges charge when using the cable(other cables work fine)...since am in no position to return it, i opened inside to see if it was something i could fix..here are the insides...
as you can see, the wires are exactly all lined up end to end...not sure if this is the way i.e when stretched out, the 1st terminal is connected to the first on the other end, second to 2nd , third to 3rd and finally 4th to 4th..
if anyone has a working micro-usb lying around, would they be kind enough to show me how the terminals look on both end??
