A friend and I have been working on a brand new app called Runnur that tracks your physical activities like running, walking, biking, hiking etc. App development is completely new to us so we have been learning as we go.
The app is at a point where we think it is ready to go for beta testing so we have a google+ community setup so people can sign up as beta testers and download the app from the playstore.

Well for one, you can map out your path ahead of time. In the mapping screen, you just place markers along a path you wanna run and save it. We will soon be adding challenges so you can plan to run so many miles in so much time and the app will help you with that.

This is an app I'm currently gathering ideas for and developing. So far I have a menu and a map using the polaris map library. I have a couple friends that are hopefully helping me with the project. This is my very first actual Android application I am trying to make. The basic idea is that you drag and drop files from a "backpack" to a geographical location on a map. The backpack is linked to cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Skydrive and all the files on the map are hosted on the original service you shared it from. To pickup a file you have to be in that geographic location. I'm hoping to link the app to google+ and allow files to only be shared to specific circles as well as the ability to share public or password protect the files. Anyways read more about the app and my progress on my page I made on my website. Feel free to post any ideas or suggestions below I'd love to get some feedback for the project. Please keep in mind I'm really new at this whole thing and I don't know a whole lot about the Android SDK, APIs, and barly know Java the only programs I've ever made have been simple command line programs. This is a project to learn but also a great idea I had that I think would be an amazing new experience for file sharing!

Yeah I'm thinking about having a geocaching feature maybe a scavenger hunt feature as well we'll have to see where it goes.

This is a 2013 thread and the app isn't even in the play store anymore
Is that app still working? I need to find something similar to create a project on home renovating. If you guys can suggest me any ideas, I will be very thankful for that. I'd like to see my old Persian rugs from DorisLeslieBlau gallery in a new design of my living room. That is why I want to find an app or a website where I can use real things or their prototypes to understand clearly how they will look in a real life.

We from kitogoru-apps specialise on app development in the mobile entertainment sector. Our newest App is called "Fingerprint Coolness Scanner".
It´s an app that let´s you scan your thumb and assigns a coolness-score to you. Depending...well depending on how cool you are obviously .
You can then compare your score to famous persons and see who matches your coolness score.
Of course this applications should not be taken way too serious, foremost it is meant to be entertaining and funny.

Hey sorry for the delayed reply.
We are currently working on an ios release and we will also release our other apps on ios as well.
New apps will then be available on both systems upon release in the near future.

So we finally made it to 10 posts and have updated the original post with more graphics and an external link to the application.
We hope you like it and again, feedback is very welcome.
This is my first Android app. Thanks to all the tutorials all over the web and especially on XDA, it wasn't too difficult to get started with Android programming.
This app is called ArVoSurAr Calculator. I know the name sounds weird. ArVoSurAr stands for Area, Volume and Surface Area.
What this app basically does is calculate the three above mentioned values of various shapes as per the input of the user. A pretty simple app to make and simpler to try it out on your phone.
So please do check it out. Don't expect something fancy out of the app, it's a basic program but performs the given task very well.
I was planning to upload in on the Play Store but Google charges $25 one-time charge to publish apps. I'm in no mood to spend that.
So I have uploaded the app on the GetJar Store and even on Dev-Host. You can download it from either of the two places.
The application has few basic shapes to calculate values for. I may think of expanding it, but my first priority to learn new things rather than just expanding shapes which will be good for this app but not good for my knowledge.
