Hello people from xda! i need your help... before explaining my current problem, i will describe each step i did before ending here
First, my phone was just crashing and lagging every time. by crashing, i mean aplications like the twlauncher closing, or the play store getting stuck. Software, gingerbread android, i cant remember the version but i think it was 2.3.5 or something like that. This was 2 days ago.
After suffering like... 3 hours (yeah... im pretty impatient :silly i decided to uninstall some apps. Yes, my phone was rooted from beforehand. After uninstalling a lot of stuff, i realize that i unninstalled accidentally the cloak app, and i need it to get up for college and, pretty much, everything, so i decided to try and reinstall it. The stupid mylself of that moment could'nt think of factory reseting, so i used KIES to update the phone. Now, after updating it, i recovered the cloak, but also my phone wasnt rooted. so... i spent a lot of time with different apps in the play store to root my phone again, until i stood with the clockwork mode (is it spelled that way? im not really good at english, im from argentina ) with it, i was able to root my phone (or with some actualization plus it, now i cant remember to be fair). But, yet again, the crashes went worst and worst. So, then, i remembered i can factory reset, and i did. After the factory reset, my phone was again rooted (i dont know why, but the root app "superuser" came with the phone) and i was able to "kinda" work. all the stuff that was crashing was still there, plus i couldnt download anything from the play store because a combination of both the crashes and play services being too much expensives space wise. after that, i founded that there was some way of, by using an app which i cant remember its name, if i had a splitted SD card, i could force apps from the phone into it. theres when the stuff went bad, and my phone got stuck in recovery mode. i could'nt boot, nor factory reset. all of this was yesterday, and today i spent the whole day installing (or atleast trying to install) firmware via odin. when i finally get a pack of boot, csc, pda and modem zips that were all from the same firmware, i installed them in my phone, and after that... white screen! i can hear the logo when i boot, but i cant do anything. the recovery mode is not showing, neither the download one. however, i know they work, as i tried installing the same pack again changing a usb port, and by just following by memory the steps i could get myself into download mode. now, i dont know what to do! please help me yeah, im an idiot too. anyways, thanks for reading at least, and sorry for bad english
i forgot to add the exact model from my phone. it is a GT-S5367 with a single slot for sd card, and as it has a tv thing

Hey Xda Devs. This is my first post to this wonderful site. (sorry if in wrong area)
Back to related topic....
I own a Samsung Galaxy SIII - (SCH-I535)
About Three or Four days ago I was sick of using my Cyanogenmod 10. And I decided to do a Factory Restore on it. (Got sick of short battery life and terrible reception)
While doing this it was great (still rooted and running cyanogenmod). Then I got a little stupid and decided I didn't want any Google search in/on my device. So I went and deleted most the apps associated with it. NOT KNOWING it would disrupt my Data / Wi-Fi / and Play Store. (Google store has Unexpectedly Stopped)
So like an idiot, I factory restored AGAIN thinking "maybe it will just go away"
No....
In fact did the inevitable and decided to take out Clockwork Mod and anything else in my SD card thinking maybe that was the reason.
(At this time it was still working ((Send/Receive Calls, Text, and Pics.))) But no data.
Then while on my break at work I put my phone into Clockwork (somehow it was still in my phone) unknowingly I seen a backup. So like any noob I went and clicked Wipe Cache + everything else then prompted with a Recovery.... Well that only made matters WAY worse....
I now sit with a phone that no matter what I do, I can only get into ODIN mode but if left to boot it shows an UNLOCKED Custom Samsung screen but sent to "System software no authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please....ETC"
I have tried to flash the same way I did but no luck. I tried stock ROM. ODIN always says RESET!!! But does nothing after like it’s just a paperweight now.
I somehow now instead of having 1 custom binary download me have 3....
Everything else says CUSTOM
And Qualcomm secure boot says ENABLE
I’ve been looking for a way to bring it back to just stock ROM.... but no luck on any form, site, or anything!
PLEASE HELP! im sick of using my Droid RAZR M
Hey guys. Forgive my noobity but I could do with some help and might have a unique problem although I dare say someone has had this or similar.
Firstly, after putting a 64GB stick in my tablet the other day, it all went badly wrong. I had done it before with my previous 64GB that had been playing up so I sent it back and got a new one. The new one seems to be where it all went pear shaped. I might add, the 64GB is for my phone really but my phone cam was playing up so I was swapping it over and stuff... anyway the card itself seems fine in my phone.
Anyways... now my ampe tablet is suffering some strange effects that have changed. initially it would not boot up unless I redone it with the official firmware.. but then wouldn't boot up again, unless I did the same thing over and over. then one time it just refused to boot up past the initial boot screen. I gave up for weeks then picked it up again two days ago.
Now I give it the firmware installed using pheonix again and it booted up. Ahh I thought... lets play. Now I plug it into the pc but the pc says I need to format the 5GB internal partition. So I did. I then looked how to fix the fact that the tab still says it has 0.00kbs internal storage in settings. Then after a while it came up saying 5GB so i copied some files onto it.. great. But I still can't install apps as I found when trying to do this tested working fix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJlpek6w624
I then read about using android commander to move busybox from xbin to bin in the system folder but mine is already there.
So now I am stuck. I can't test if my tab is rooted for the youtube link fix above although this is what I said to Nayeem on youtube:
================
Hi Nayeem. I'm really struggling with this. At first my tab was staying at the 2nd initial boot up screen after I put in a 64GB SD card. Using pheonix I managed to get it to boot by reinstalling the updated official rom from szampe but every reboot back to square one. I left it alone for weeks and came back to it, reinstalled the factory rom again and now it will boot up everytime but it has factory reset every time. I cant run the apps you supply for some reason. Everytime I have rebooted the tab, and connected back to pc it says I need to format the internal 5GB partition. I don't know if I have rooted it properly as I can't check. The commands you give above, work as it changes the location proven when I 'get' it. I'm really stumped. I'm trying out a method someone said about moving busybox from sys/xbin to sys/bin but it's already there (using android commander) so I am really stumped now. When I format the partition, it allows me to copy files to it.
================
So far I am stuck with boot up being a factory reset and the partition needs formatting and although the tablet seems a little laggy, everything I have tried works including wifi and incoming email alerts after logging into google account for playstore but no apps will install or update. the best warning I get is there is no memory to install anything and Nayeems method of moving the install location to the sd card seems to work but nothing will install still saying NOT INSTALLED when I try.
Sorry for the long winded thing but I am really new to all of this.
My hat is off to you if you read all of this and can offer a solution so i can give this tablet back to the kids.
Do you have an installed recovery
Try installing a recovery and wipe data and cache. If it does not work u have to repartition ur tablet

I am gonna look into this tonight and see what I can find out. I really don't know exactly what I am doing outside of getting pheonix up and sending a standard rom back to it as previously mentioned.
How would I repartition it ? Sounds stupid asking as i can build pcs... just want to make sure I am doing the correct method.
So I have an old Galaxy S3 that I was playing around with, trying to figure out some basics to rooting, as I've never done it before. (I now have a new Galaxy S5 that I'd like to eventually root, but I figured if I was going to brick anything, it would be this older S3).
It has the stock Android 4.4.2 image on it.
After reviewing a number of forum posts on XDA and elsewhere, I've learned that this has a locked bootloader that hasn't been cracked. So, I decided to first try the easy route, and installed Towel Root.
After successfully rooting the phone, I uninstalled some apps that I probably should not have uninstalled, because now when I go to do a factory reset, the setup wizard allows me to select my language (English), but then fails with "Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped."
When I hit OK, I do get dumped out into the home screen, and the phone seems like its mostly (if not fully) functional, minus the apps that I removed which I shouldn't have removed.
So... is there any way of fixing this?
Bump

I'd suggest re flashing the 4.4.2 NE1 firmware. That should solve your problem. I'd suggest using Odin
Sent from my Nexus 5
Thanks.
I downloaded 4.4.2 from 2 different sources, and the md5sum were different for each, so I knew that at least 1 of them was either the wrong firmware or corrupted in some way.
After further research, I realized I could download Kies 3 onto my Windows computer (official Samsung software), and run a factory reset / image upgrade directly from the computer. I decided that was the safest method.
And it worked!
Hey all, before I start I'd like to apologise for making the post here but I don't know what you guys would classify the state of my phone as, "bricked, soft-bricked, hard-bricked", I have no clue! As a result I have no idea what threads to start looking in so I've come here to make this, sorry again!
I'm here looking for help because I think I've completely destroyed my Moto G and really really would like to fix it.
Basically, I had been running an old version of CyanogenMod for months and was not able to update due to the fact my bootloader was not updated. After finally updating it through a tool on XDA, I installed the newest version of CyanogenMod onto the phone and it was all going well, except for the fact all of my Google apps were crashing and making it impossible to use.
Now, I'm not sure why, but without taking any precautionary measures or looking into it at all or what I needed to do, I then decided to try and flash a Paranoid Android rom onto the phone, which installed fine. I load the phone up and something comes up with a passcode saying I need to unlock it to use the phone. I put in some random things and eventually get it, but it says my data is corrupted and therefore I need to reset to factory settings and there's a button there to do it. I think "why not" and click.
So now, the phone did something weird and basically went into a bootloop of the PA logo, so I restarted the phone and went to the bootloader thing. When doing "Normal Startup" it loads the phone with the PA logo like before, comes up with a brief "Android is Upgrading" screen before showing me the passcode screen for half a second, before repeating this, thus having a bootloop. Every so often, I can put my code in and press the reset button again, but it does the same thing.
On the other hand, if I try to access my ClockworkMod recovery system, the screen repeatedly flashes with the CWM background of the Android Alien guy, as if to say it keeps trying to start but it cannot.
TLDR: I cannot access my phone through a normal powerup or through my recovery, have I screwed it completely?
I'd hugely appreciate any help here guys because I'm stressing like I never have before here, thanks!
EDIT: it is the X0123 version!

Just a few questions before I start suggesting a full flash to stock.
Did you have any SIM passwords, boot passwords, CWM passwords before flashing?
Also In CWM does it flash before any options are selected and did you dirty flash the new ROM over the old ROM?
Anyway, your phone is not hardbricked as it can get to recovery so thats good news.
I would suggest flashing your phone back to factory stock using the tools here on XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219). That should hopefully resolve most of the issues and then if you feel like it you can start flashing custom ROMs again.
