I'm planning on buying an s6 next week. I'm really interested about the case and have watched videos about it however I want to here more opinions from the users themselves. Thanks in advance to anyone who can a short review and post a picture.

It does look nice, the black/blue changes depending on the angle of view
Looks good on the phone. Absolutely useless if you change the LCD density in build.prop (my main reason for rooting any android phone)

Hi guys, sorry for another thread about a white galaxy s cover! So, the situation is that on Ebay I can find a fake white cover for the Galaxy S for around £3-4 (very cheap). Also, I have found a genuine white cover for £8ish from a top seller in Uk so i presume it is genuine. So I wondered which one to go for? I mean, I don't want a cheap one to not fit and be good quality because that would be a waste of money and I would end up purchasing a genuine one! Anybody had a fake cover??? How well do they fit??

I bought one. Mine is definitely fake, as 99% of them are if you're getting it off Ebay. It doesn't have the Google sign on the back.
It fits very well, almost perfect. It's slightly larger than the OEM battery cover, maybe a mm or two outward-back. The plastic feels fine. I'd buy it again. For that price, what do you have to lose?

edit2: Just buy it from the HK seller. Local sellers just buy it from HK by the bulk, and then resell it. You'll likely get the same thing from either.

I really don't see the problem in fake ones, quality is really good, and the price from the original is quite different. I vote fake
Those white fake covers may look good , but they don't have a sharp click when it's snapped on like the original cover .
So my guess is upon repeated usage of taking and putting back the cover , it might get so loose , that it won't fit anymore

IMHO you can either sell your black desire and buy a white one (google "htc desire white", your sure already did), or disassemble it and paint any part you want white, by yourself
I've seen them around
The part you are looking for is called a bezel. Its the part that is around the screen. I've seen them in white on ebay but they are usually expensive $50+.

Hi guys,
Just got my new flip case for the Note Edge, but unfortunately it is white while my phone is black. I searched but couldn't find an existing "painting cases" thread. Does anyone know what the best method would be, and if it is possible in the first place? Since the flip case has a somewhat leather like texture and contains stitches I am not sure if it is possible at all..

Painting pleather is probably not a good idea, it will be real hard to keep the texture.

I believe it is. All the reviews on the iPhone 6 which is basically the same glass are positive. I think the aluminum might look cool but I'm in the same boat. I'm going to wait for some reviews and when the white version comes out
I like the look of this lots but wonder how the crown will effect the fitting of a case, I'll also be waiting for a black version and seeing if they post to the uk

One of the reviews I watched mentioned that the taper of the crown where I case would meet is approximately .1 mm. I would imagine it depends on how much the case wraps around the front of the screen. The one that's on my phone right now actually doesn't even get to the glass.

I'd agree it will depend on the case and my current one a spigen neo hybrid over laps the glass I would say by about 1mm or possibly 2mm, still very tempted once the black version arrives.
Op will you also update when they make the black variant available?

And I believe you are also 100% correct.
So all this is really doing is using the "silver crown" to hide halos, right? It doesn't sound all that revolutionary, but I guess its one way to get rid of the halo problem.

Correct. Basically the same idea as the tempered glass screen protectors with colored borders. Both are just two different ways with dealing with the halo. The good thing about the crown is that it actually curves with the actual glass. Whereas the edge to edge tempered glass screen protectors have a small gap between the edges of the tempered glass and screen that tends to build up dust.

I bought one for my Note 4 and to be honest I was very dissapointed. After installing the glass and the crown piece (they are seperate) I still ended up with a very slight halo that can be seen all the way around the glass - it was small but you could see it when the screen is off.
The "Crown" piece isn't as smooth as you would hope and my finger catches on it - particuarly around the home button -(at the bottom of the phone)
The concept sounded good - but the execution was slightly off - I complained about it to Body Guardz and they sent me a new one - same thing happened.
I still have it on the note - but I would never buy it again and I won't be buying it for the S6 - but that is just me. Others may have different results.
