Hey guys, I recently got a oneplus with a smashed screen and has the screen replaced. The phone works great however the capacitative buttons don't work. No biggie since I enabled soft keys in cyanogenmod, but they don't work in twrp for some reason. Does anybody know how to make the softkeys ( home, view log, back) work in TWRP on this phone?
Thanks.

Hello all,
Today I received my Nexus S, it was a demo model but it looked perfectly fine and I got it cheap.
Now while installing the phone it was doing some weird stuff but I thought well, maybe I'm touching the softkeys. But now sometimes the phone behaves like there are all types of softkeys being touched without touching the phone at all. The phone also vibrates like the softkeys are being touched.
Maybe someone knows this issue and knows how to resolve it?
The phone is still running 2.3
Thanks in advance
Can be closed, send the Phone to retailer and it has been replaced with a new one.
Still dont know what the problem was but I'm satisfied with the solution.
The digitizer is messed up

Hello everybody,
I've read a lot of threads here but none could solve my problem... My sister dropped her Wildfire S and the digitizer (the glass) broke in several pieces. Even though they were still in place, only the bottom right corner would respond to the touch, so I ordered a new digitizer on ebay and installed it but it worked only in that specific corner... so I found a fix in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21203638 (launching a calibration app via hboot using a goldcard) and the digitizer then began to work (but with many problems) just on the left and the right of the screen, the center was dead. So I asked the seller a new digitizer and it worked on the left and right too, like the previous one, but more flawlessly. I reused that fix and now the digitizer is working perfectly but just on 3/4 - 4/5 of the screen! the extreme left is dead, so I can't press the Shift button on my keyboard + a couple buttons right there... I'm now supposing that the digitizer is not faulty since the center didn't work and started to as I used that fix... I've also put a cyanogen rom on the phone but it's still as it was previously... Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance and sorry if I misspelled something

So do you think I should send them the phone with the new digitizer installed?
Where did you buy the phone?

In a mobile phone shop... do you think they'll trust me if I just tell them it's not working? btw, I'd like to find a better solution... my intention is to fix this digitizer
I took back my Galaxy i5500 5 times in 10 months, it was rooted and had I had Cyanogenmod installed on it. I soft bricked it 4 of them times (The first time was shock damage, but the man behind the counter said my device was great and he really liked the appearance and customization of Cyanogenmod and even asked me for the XDA URL).
Just take it back, say it's stopped working, worst thing that can happen is they'll send it back saying it hasn't been fixed as you've tampered with it.
Good luck,
Curtis.

hi, i am new to this forum, i have an HTC Desire S that is rooted and has the Endymion V3.5 installed on it, i dropped this phone in water a while ago and for a while everything worked fine, now the navigation keys under the screen are inoperable, so i have to restart the phone before anything will work, is there any possibility of navigation keys being on the screen, like in ICS? I tried the oneV port on this phone and it worked perfectly.... until i wanted to go to another app, which i couldn't do! anything will do, just want it working fully again!
Daniel
hey, there is 1 rom i have tried that has the keys on the screen, im just trying to find it at the moment
Hi,sorry I can't find it anymore but what you can do is take it to a shop and get them to fix in a new post,I think it would be the screen and digitizer, hope it helps

You can enable navigation bar on every AOKP ROM. There are several ports here already as well as one build from source (my sig). But I agree that your best option is to repair your device. Good luck

Check this modded kernel https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/kernel-cos12-cm12-stock-kernel-with-touchscreen-fix-hardboot-support.311132/
It was released in one of the nightly.
On my side, when I started facing this issue, I reverted back to cm11s
Flash the latest CM12 nightlies. you're good to go

I have noticed that for some strange reason the backlight for my capacitive buttons stopped working when I'm using my phone. I've searched for every possible setting that could have affected them in any way, but so far no luck. They are not physically broken because they do light up when the phone is booting up, so it must be a software issue. I'm running a completely stock 7.0 ROM at the moment and I haven't rooted it or modified it in any way.
Disclaimer : Yes, I've tried the galaxy button something something app. No, it didn't work.
No, I dont have power saving mode enabled.
Sory for the very slight sarcasm, thank you for your response in advance, cheers!
