Hi made a wrapper for the chromatix lib to get access to all possible triggers/tables for /aec/afs.....
this wrapper works for now only with snapshot libs based on 0x301. that are devices with hal2 as far i understood it.
it will NOT! fully work with devices like nexus5/6, htc m9, lg gflex2 g4.
but the added structs can used to figure out where, as sample, the exposuretable is stored.
the wrapper is made with and for hex workshop.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
the only thing you have todo is to figure out how long your exposure table is and add the value to the wrapper else everything behind the expotable does not match
the default length from qcom has 500 entrys. lg added for the g3 540 entrys but use only 451. zte z5s use default length
Code:
typedef enum CHUNK_TYPE
{
EXPOSURE_TABLE_SIZE = 500, //default 500, lg g3 540
//DATA_CHUNK = "data",
} CHUNK_TYPE ;
Make a Backup (and store it in a save place) bevor you start changing the chromatix lib!
the hexwrapper can found there: lib_chromatix_snapshot.hsl
if you want to know what a value does look into chromatix_imx135_snapshot.h
happy modding ;D

Hey all
I've just recently upgraded from a Magician to a Prophet.
One thing I've discovered is that images I set as the wallpaper get converted and saved in jpg with a compression mode of, like two or something.
It never did this in WM2003 on my Magician. It was always tiled.
The screenshots can probably describe it better than I can.
Image set as wallpaper through the today screen/WM5 Picture Viewer.

A brief search of the forums shows nothing. I've not really looked into it yet (landscape issue? ctrl+f registry, etc) but when I get a fix I'll post it here.
Anyone got any ideas in the mean time?
Please no "omg i see no diffrence lol" posts.
The files "stwater_240_320.jpg" (portrait) and "stwater_320_240.jpg" (landscape) are in \windows\ and are the images used on your desktop. Copy your files directly over these and you will keep whatever quality you originally had without them being downsampled by the wallpaper picker.
It also allows you to have a different image for landscape and portrait.

Hi.
I have a chinese GPS device, WinCE 6.0 embedded based.
I've installed MioPocket on it, and translate some of the words to hebrew. My problem is that the hebrew is 'backwards', meaning if for ex. suppose to be "Hello" - It'll show "olleH".
This is how my GPS looks for now:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
How can I fix this problem?
Well, from tobbbie's answer here - I understand that my only option is to implant a soft-reset during the installaion of MioPocket.
Does anybody over here knows how to do soft-reset with those chinese devices?
After a search inside the GPS file system (I forgot to mention that in the original menu of the GPS the Hebrew was just fine - meaning from right to left - what led me to think there's something in the OS responsible for that) - I found a file named SetLanguage.exe which may be repsosible to display the hebrew in the right direction.
Anyone in here can hex the file and understand what's it's usage?
I attached also file named Arab.dll, maybe is also related..
Any help will be much appriciate!
Hello,
I decided to make some simple and quickly file explorer that uses adb.
It was annoying for me to launch apps like WIFI file explorer or sth. like that and then open the browser, enter ip address and so on.
This works only via WIFI for now, but You can always vote to implement USB option.
If You would like to see more functions post Your ideas or wishes here.
Here are some screenshots:

Here's a daydream that old school hackers out there might recognize if you've ever used CDE on Unix or VMS. This is an Android port of Jeff Butterworth's xswarm. This was mostly done as a learning project and I still have a few questions resulting from it. Though for now it's done, working, and I think I've added enough options. I'll take bug reports and pull requests but don't expect too much in the way of additional features.
Anyway, here's some shots.

--- Non-devs can skip the following questions. ---
Is there a color picker library that uses fragments and also allows hex entry? lomza/android-color-picker looks like one of the better ones, though I'd really prefer something with text input for exact values as well.
I'm also trying to come up with a way to programmatically pull in resources so I don't have to do ugly enumeration such as this (see TODO sections). The EditTextPreference dialogs do bounds checking before updating the summary field, but one thing that throws a wrench (or IllegalStateException) into things is that EditTextCheckBounds isn't attached to the Activity so you can't call getResources() within that function without jumping through a lot of hoops.

This guide will fix CDMA PROBLEMS on the GT-i9505 for the US Cellular, C-Spire, and Cricket Wireless variants.
Okay so I flashed CM13 (Nightly) for jfltexx (GSM) and found that CDMA isn't working so I scrounged around in the build.prop and found a quick fix. I changed the LTE on GSM option to "0" and added a line for the LTE on CDMA and put it to "1", I also changed the Default Network to "8" (LTE/CDMA Auto) and it has been working flawlessly! This guide may work on TouchWiz based ROMs as well but exercise caution.
USE ES FILE EXPLORER and its ROOT EXPLORER function (swipe right to see the menu along the left side to see this setting) to edit the build.prop found in the /system/ folder
I am NOT responsible for a bricked device or bootloops, always make backups!
Code:
telephony.lteOnGsmDevice=0
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1
ro.telephony.default_network=8
Sorry for the atrociously large photos :/
