Really cool. Just a few things are unclear, how do i navigate backwards? "../cd" crashes the launcher. And how to I erase associations?
Looking forwards to files with spaces in their name support, maybe with "" around will be easier to implement?
I'll be reporting any other problems/ideas I have
Great work!

Also allowing it to use the keyboard swype and auto-fill/correct functions would really help speed up usage

Hey, sorry, wasn't able to reply as soon as you posted (Thank you for the comment)
For the back navigation, you should use "cd .." instead
In 1.1 vrs you are able to use files with spaces in their name (hopefully ). You can find the apk here, I won't put it in the play store page until I'm absolutely sure it works fine...
I'll think about the autocorrect feature :fingers-crossed:

Also, is there currently a way to delete associations?

[APP] Clipboard + Notes 6.1.3 [08/12/15]

[APP] Clipboard + Notes 6.3.1 [04/05/2016]
Clipboard + Notes is a simple clipboard manager which watches your clipboard for any changes and saves its contents for later use. Contents can be starred and labelled, as well as added manually, which makes the app a handy tool for note taking.
The contents from the clipboard history can be copied into the clipboard again, they can be edited, deleted, searched, and shared too. When sharing links they can be optionally shortened if URLy is installed. Any links in the contents will be quickly picked up and extra options will be available to open or share them directly from the device. HTTP and Market links are amongst the supported types.
Clipboard + Notes can be easily turned off from the settings if it is no longer needed, and its operation can be customised to match the user's needs. The clipboard collection is intelligently stopped when the device isn't being used any more, which makes it very battery-friendly.
In addition it integrates with the Android Quick Search Bar so you can directly search your clipboard history. It further integrates with Google's cloud backup and restore, so any time you wipe your device your contents and settings will be restored the next time you install the application (only works on Android 2.3+ and backup/restore must be enabled in the 'Privacy' settings for your device).
A little extra hand is at help too in case you would like to share to clipboard. The app supports this functionality as well, so just pick something to share, and select Clipboard + Notes from the window. The item you just shard will now have been copied into the clipboard.

OK, will do it sometime during the week. I already have the two other features done, just testing them on my own device.
Thanks for the support
Version 1.2 is out, changes include:
Clipboard history will be saved across reboots and service shutdowns
Edit clipboard contents
Added date to older contents
Added fallback click option
Numerous bug fixes
Enjoy
P.S. Would it be helpful if the text which is currently in the clipboard was highlighted, for example the font was bold or text bigger? It is always at the top in the list, but not sure if that makes sense/occurs to everyone.
Hy I like your Tool. I look long time ago to find something like this.
There is one problem I recognized, sometimes when I press Copy Link it happen nothing in Clipboard Contents. Then I switch off & on the service and my Link is displaying in the History !

Hi, glad you like it
So let me understand this correctly. You have some items in the list, you long-click on one of them (not the top one), click copy to clipboard and nothing happens in the list? What should happen is that the one you copied should be moved to the top of the list. What happens when you click on 'Refresh'? Same thing as when you turn the service off and on, or is it different?
I've never had this issue happen to me so I'm just trying to understand whether there are some particular steps which make it happen. Anyway, I'll take a look at the code, but any extra information would be helpful. Thanks.
No, not like this. I want to copy an item to the List and nothing happens. Then I switch off and on the service ones a time then the copy works !!!

OK, I understand now... I think
The problem is that the service refreshes every X seconds, depending on how you have it set in the settings. If you copy something and open the list, the service might not have refreshed yet and therefore the item won't appear in the list. If you know you copied something and it's not there you should just hit the 'Refresh' button and it should appear, that's the reason why I put it there.
OK Thanks,
Version 1.3 is out with the following changes:
Links without 'http://' will be now detected
Added confirmation upon content deletion
Current clipboard content gets highlighted in bold
Text size for the list can be changed (see the settings)
Older items will be automatically removed (see the settings)
Many other fixes
Up on the Market and in the first post.
Why does a Clipboard app need "Full Internet access"?
The installer mentions the latest version requires network access.

OK. I think it is somewhat annoying that there isn't a separate permission for ad-only internet access, as that would probably make users more trustful of applications which request permissions that may have nothing to do with the app's functionality (such as this one).

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Some people may think that this is a dead application, but nope. I still have plans for it, but not enough time at the moment Anyway, here is the version 1.4 update:
Added support for shortening links using URLy when sharing them (only if URLy is installed)
Fixed a couple of small bugs
Tiny tweaks to the user interface
Simplified English localisation
New APK is in the OP and also on the Market. Enjoy.
Version 2.0 is out, with the following changes (many of which have been promised for a longer time):
New user interface
Restore clipboard at boot
Improved communication with the service
Persistent storage improved
Contents can be manipulated when the service is disabled
Integrated with Android's Quick Search Bar
Get it on the Market or in the OP (still free with ads)
Version 2.1.0 is out, in the usual places. Here are the changes;
Fixed list items too small
Fixed double notifications
Fixed clipboard erasure detection
Fixed status bar icon to match UI guidelines
Added cloud backup/restore for Android 2.2 and newer (must be enabled in device Settings -> Privacy)
On a side note, the cloud backup/restore service which Google provides for Android applications is rather cool. It's really simple to implement and use, so here's to hoping that more developers will include this feature in their applications

[APP] Raccoon v4.12 - An apk downloader for Google Play

[APP] Raccoon v4.13 - An apk downloader for Google Play
Ever ran into one of these problems?
You want to check out an app, but your device is not officially supported.
After flashing a custom ROM, you no longer have Google Play available on your phone.
You updated an app, but the new version causes nothing but trouble and you want to go back to the previous version.
You are not satisfied with Google's privacy policy and would rather download apps without hooking your phone up to Google.
You want to check out apps without them cluttering up your "My Apps" list and potentially influencing app suggestions.
You don't have unlimited bandwidth at your disposal but want to install an app on multiple devices in your household.
Raccoon is a Google Play desktop client that will enable you to download APK files from Google Play and cache them locally on your desktop computer. You can maintain as many caches as you like (e.g. one per Google Account or one per device you own). Each cache is able to hold apps in multiple versions.

Usage instructions:
Install Java (java.com)
racoon.jar should now be executeable, start it like any other program
Enter your loginname and password (prefererably from a throw away account).
type "Onyxbits" into the textfield.
You should now see a list of all my apps (yes, shameless plug, I know).
Maybe download "List My Apps"
you will get an APK file, transfer that to your phone by whatever means suit you (e.g. copy via USB cable).
Enable "Unknown Sources" on your device to install the APK
Been waiting for something like this, great idea. Will test during the day.
Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk
The brave of heart will find some neat stuff in the development version:
java -jar racoon.jar -u -a <archive>
Will conveniently fetch the latest APKs for all the apps stored in the archive.
java -jar racooon.jar -a <archive> -f de.onyxbits.listmyapps,14,1
Is a way to simply download an app without searching for it (you have to know packagename, versioncode and offertype). Just in case someone wants an older version of something.
There also now is proxy support (but you don't really wanna use that, the -f option does a better job).
Minor request: If you build from source, please DON'T make your build available to the public. I really don't want to deal with support requests for software I don't know the version of.

As jdstrydom said: just edit credentials.cfg. There is no UI for it because you are not really meant to change your credentials after setting them up. Your archive represents your phone/tablet. Changing your Android ID is akin to doing a factory reset (at least as far as Google Play is concerned. It has no effect on your downloads).
Unless you really know what you are doing, it's best to use a throwaway account and go with the generated ID. The thing you should probably not do is to use your regular account with a generated ID.

Tried on Galaxy Y (2.3.6)
Works as Promised. I am quite surprised by the searching speed. The "Open Containing folder" didn't work for me. Other than that it's just awesome !
Suggestion :- If you could please make text a little bolder and darker , that would be great !
Very nice search, very quick. Searching quickly for system files is great.
But, doesn't search my sd card (/storage/sdcard1), only searches the internal sd card (storage/sdcard0).
A suggestion, kindly add an option to remove the pink options button from being on screen all the time.
Also, open containing folder doesn't work for me either, using es file explorer or root explorer.

Thanks for so updating so quick.
Just a couple of small requests.
1. Search for folder names. If I search for "ebooks" it will show the folder called ebooks for opening in another app ie estrongs
2. Partial multi world searches. For example searching "Alan" and "Dean" will find my Alan Dean Foster books, but searching for "chro" and "rid" will NOT find The Chronicles of Riddick. This only happens with multi word searches, ie searching for "chron" would find The Chronicles of Riddick.
Many thanks

I'm going to check it out, but for now look at this screenshot:
thanks
Whoops next thing to do
WOW.
This project is super awesome!
Probably a stupid question, but is the source code in pure HTML or are the HTML settings built over Java/etc.?
What license are you giving it/have you given it?
:good:
Also, is it possible to modify files in a preferred PC text editing program and put them on the device to test? I much prefer using my actual keyboard and the autocorrect on my phone is atrocious, hehe.
Well this is interesting... I see this project to be the next big thing on the xda-platform. Keep up the good work and stay blessed.
It looks pretty cool. Gonna try it out now. Thanks
Awesome concept but buggy app
I downloaded this app because it sounds awesome! However I found several faults
Couldn't change the background using the menu system
Couldn't change from celsius to fahrenheit
Once I changed one RSS feed I was unable to scroll down the list or open an item in the feed
Couldn't figure out how to edit files on PC. I tried to open apk and extract but couldn't find install path on my phone
Download button on homepage has spelling error. It says Donwload.
I think this program falls into Alpha mode. Call me when the bugs are fixed.
Help am not able to use this launcher as it's not showing in app drawer tab.. What to do? Please help.

Pressing your home key should trigger a new default actions menu. I'd make this a one time choice until you are happy with the application. If not you will have to go into your settings and clear the default action.
wow
the best launcher ever and accrording to it real customizing of android .
there are millions of codes out there which are impossible to remember. can you provide a simple dictionary for it.

i haven't installed this yet, but couldn't you get some sort of... html guidebook? because i'm guessing the portions that can be edited are pure html.
Will it work on 4.2.2???
Why are you outputting the html codes to edit after converting variable elements? Just make templates for each page? It would be easier to edit and customize?

Right..
wow seems like this has an awesome future ahead of it
good luck dev..
ill try it in my device and ill post

Java built some HTML parts but not that much
i don't know for the moment for the liscence
you can edit the files from your computer, go to
sdcard/Android/data/com.launcher.html/files
copy the folders and files, i try to figure out how to edit in "live" the files directly from the phone

i thought about a file per page like a folder where you drop templates and it injects it dynamicly
perhaps a good approach, i'll see
thank you

Extract the MuzeiClient Release.zip archive and inside you will see a folder with the executable and DLLs. The source is also available for download. Launch MuzeiClient.exe to open it. You can automate the process by simply selecting the hour interval and checking the "Run automatically every:" checkbox. To use command-line, launch the executable with arguments. The arguments are:
Code:
-keep
-folder [Directory]
-style [6|10]
The -keep argument will save each image with a unique name.
The -folder argument specifies the save location of the images.
The -style can be set to either 6 for "Fit" or 10 for "Zoom"

Hmm, I have not thought about adding dimming/blurring, but perhaps it's a feature that I can add in the future because I don't think it's that hard to implement. As for the source selection, do you mean choosing a folder with images on the computer that the program will cycle through? Windows already has an option to select a picture location and shuffle through them every so minutes, but without the extras like dimming and blurring. It is something to think about and I could try to implement that, but it's more likely the dimming and blurring will come to muzei images first. Thanks for the feedback!
amazing!
this is exactly what I wanted!!!
But - for instance today, the painting is portrait of a young man by boticelli (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...celli_070.jpg/250px-Sandro_Botticelli_070.jpg)
but on my desktop screen it's sort of cropped(i know the asepct ratio should change - that nakes sense). I can't see anything above the eyes. ss is attached.
Could the program somehow adjust for screen size/resolution, kinda like "fit images to desktop" of IrfanView? better to have some black margins than half a painting
ok, turns out all i had to do was change the desktop wallpaper setting to "fit" and now it's just perfect. thanks, this is amazing

yeah I have noticed the same inconvenience, but once you change that setting in Windows, it sticks with all the wallpaper I could add a line of code that checks if the setting is not already set to "Fit", the program will automatically set it for the user.
I can't seem to be able to automate the program to change wallpapers though... here's my task scheduler entry - what am I doing wrong?

They changed something, i will have to check what's up
EDIT: There was just an issue with just that one image. I have tried to open it with windows paint and simply re-save it. The program was able to now set the image as the background. Interestingly enough, when the image was freshly downloaded, the user could manually set it as the background while the program could not. Interesting, indeed, for that single image (20150411-sunset-in-the-rockies-albert-bierstadt.jpg)
still, all the scheduled task does is to open the "images" folder where they're kept - how can I automate the wallpaper change?

So, first off, the "Open Images Folder.bat" file does what it says. It is there for the user as a shortcut to browse the images folder without having to navigate there manually. What you need to be targeting is the executable. Now, there are two executables provided. One is GUI which has buttons in a graphical interface and one that is "Command Line" which is the executable that you want to automate into which you can pass arguments like "-keep".
So, looking at your screenshot, you would need to change the path to "\MuzeiClient\command-line\MuzeiClient.exe"
Also, make sure you have the latest version from sourceforge.
awsm! it works flawlessly!

A very nice program! It works really well.
I have one question/suggestions. Would it be possible to create some kind of installer? Just a simple one that puts the files in the Program Files folder, so that I don't have to keep them around.
Anyway, thanks again!

Yeah I have considered that and tried to make it into an installer, back when I was still figuring things out, but I have not gotten it to work. Now that it's pretty stable and has a more straightforward way of accomplishing the task, I can try and implement it in the near future. Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming :good:
This is awesome. Subscribed for when you add blurring. I currently use DisplayFusion, so hope MuzeiClient will get along with it. And my double-click desktop action is already to show/hide Fences, but I would change that for a blur effect.
It is possible to add an option to change only the Windows 10 Login Background?
This were very cool!
Thanks for your work!
