So I have a galaxy tab 4, and I tried to root it the other night, and when I was rooting my dog walked by my computer, and then accidentally unplugged it, now my tablet says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, and now my kies wont even recognize it, also i dont have the Serial number and I have no idea what i did with the box. So what do i do?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist.
Can you tell me specifically which version of the Galaxy Tab 4 you have?
Thank you.

Try blowing HARD in the connector of your tab. Worked for me. I had this issue today
If you're running custom ROMs/kernels, then that could be a cause.
Most importantly, you need to verify if this happens on aboslute stock/default Samsung firmware.
How to fix Samsung Note 8.0 GT-n5100 Hardbricked.
[Q] Can I just fix it using odin or using Samsung Kies?
Sorry I'm a beginner
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. If it's truly hardbricked it won't even turn on. In which case you can't fix it without specialized hardware. If it still turns on and you can get into download mode then use Odin. If you don't know how to do that ask in this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2630650 or this one, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2279627 They are the experts on your device.
Recently I have installed cyanogen 12 on my samsung galaxy note 2 gt n7100 and I have been using it for almost 2 months. It was fine until when I turned it on. WIth no reason it started to act like a bricked phone and did the turning on and repeating thing. What is weird is that when it is plugged into a charger this doesn't happen. I have tried to flash the stock firmware but it didn't seem to fix it. Can anyone help me fix this brick please.

People I need an expert opinion here. Let me first say if I'm posting in the wrong place apologies. I have an old international Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 and stamped on the rear case it quite clearly states "Model GT-N8010". I'm trying to install a custom ROM but each one I try for that model states the model is wrong. I have successfully installed one that said it was for the N8013 and another Cyanogen one supposed to be for the N8000. I'd REALLY appreciate thoughts on what the hell is going here. Thank you for reading.

Hi,
Device mode on Android settings could be faked easily by build.prop editing. To know your device's exact model, reboot to Download mode and see your device model from there.
Hope this helps.
