My device is XT1033 Asian Version
Recently i Flashed Brazillian Kitkat version 4.4.4 then installed Lollipop Brazillian ota update.
So my phone works fine on Lollipop.
Now, im thinking of using custom rom for Lollipop.
I understand that i need to be on XT1032 Kitkat 4.4.2 to be able to flash those roms.
I noticed that many people bricked their device by downgrading.
Just want to be sure, should i re-flash Asian Kitkat 4.4.4 Stock , then flash xt1032 4.4.2 followed by required rom?
How is the process like. I just want to know if there is a way to downgrade successfully without bricking the device ?
thanks.
Hi there I have a D6603 running prerooted customised UK 23.1.A.1.28 (5.0.2) firmware but would like to downgrade back to kitkat. Can anyone tell me what the build/firmware number was for the last update that was released and also if there is a stock prerooted one please
Many thanks

Hey guys i was thinking of upgrading my bootloader to lollipop but im confused if im already on lollipop bl. I was on kitkat when i rooted my note 3 and after rooting i flashed cm12. Did flashing the rom (cm12) upgraded my bootloader ?? Now my baseband version is N9005XXUGNG1, Is this a lollipop bootloader?? I wanted to flash the arter97 kernel on my device and that requires a lollipop bootloader.
I'm in Australia and have a 6653 Z3 running a pre-rooted stock 5.0.2 firmware. i want to know if it is possible to flash a new modem and if so how?
Thanks
Hey guys, I have a Sony Xperia M2 on Android 5.1.1 18.6.A.0.175 rooted with this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/unlocked-bl-root-sony-xperia-m2-android-t3214498 . Now there's a new update available fixing the camera and GPS issues. My question is should I do the update? Will my root be gone? Will it brick my phone? I don't know what to do, please help me! Oh and btw, I installed this with my custom recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...ashable-camera-blobs-morpho-settings-t3281766 .

You can't update your phone via OTA if the bootloader is unlocked.
Update with Flastool?

Ok thanks for the quick answer. So I need to download and flash the ftf-file and root it after it? will my data be gone after flashing the ftf?
Just flash linuxct's updated camera files from this new update then swap the GPS file for the KK one update done.
