Hi , i am trying to install stock rom on my lg g2 d800 through lg flash tool tot file,dll file ,megalock.dll ,hence everything is set as instructed but still lg flash tool gives me an error on bin crc check ,failed previous load . i am using windows 8 ,no post on xda before helped me ,please help me now

Windows xp, sprint lg g2
trying to revert root and go back to zvc stock rom or ZVE.
It worked a couple of years ago on this same computer and I even tried using the old zvc tot file from then that i have loaded on phone now.
Cant find a solution. Is it true that this error is caused by a bad .dll or .tot file?
can anyone help us on this one ? i am facing the same problem and couldn't find a solution on dxa yet

ive downloaded the stock rom from http://en.miui.com/download-263.html here . Now I need to install it, I've tried it using MiFlash tool. But it doesn't work.. Someone please help.

Use the fastboot version of MIUI on MiFlash or if coming from custom rom. The zip file is only for the updater app/mi recovery.
If you are getting any error codes please share for troubleshooting purposes.

Using fastboot image from the Xiaomi website is the best and recommended.....,Don't use the Recovery ROM (Full ROM) if you are coming back from a custom ROM.....

There are way to many threads already on this. You follow my back to stock tot method of your not already stock and the only way to get more than just and android 4.4.4 is to OTA which you need an activate AT&T or H20 sim there's no other way around it.

Just received my H815 from the lab, with AT&T ROM installed (making it the wrong model - H811)
I've downloaded the H815 Europe ROM: "H81520B_00.kdz" and then, I open the LG flash tool 2014, browsing for the KDZ file, and pressing start.
It starts going through the installation:

Trying to extract software (picture 2)

Tried to do "run as administrator" but it doesn't matter.
I've also tried other Euro KDZ, and same problem.
I want to put Stock ROM on my fixed H815.
1. Does my physical location matter?
2. What can I do to solve this?
3. The phone is not rooted, does it matter?
4. Maybe my phone is actually H815P/L, does it matter?

already solved it. it seems the lg flash tool threads and such found on this forum
are either outdated or there's missing files.
since there are only two things i did and it worked.
---- dll file and driver ----
mods can either delete or close this thread now.

I tried updating my phone manually with a batch file, using the official retail g100 rom, but it wouldn't finish the installation and now my phone is bricked
I updated it several times before using this method but it never gave me any issues until now
is there another way to install the official rom without losing any data or is it better to just switch to a custom rom, and if so, how do I go about doing it?
I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me asap

Did you use an old batch file or create a new one for the updated firmware?
If you are using an old one, chuck it and make a new one from the recent firmware. Possibly theres an extra sparse image part in there, that the old batch file isnt flashing.
I tried with a batch file from the previous version and then I created a new batch file but it still didn't work
