So I just received dbrand's bamboo skin for the s6
Here is a quick photo after installation. Skin feels great! You can feel the grain like you would bamboo.
I will probably have to go back and heat up the sides to help them stick to the slight curve of the edge on the back. You can feel on left/right edge just slightly. Im assuming this will go away with wear
Will post more photos later when i have another camera to do close ups and when i install the camera skin
I have a matte black, silver titanium and bamboo camera skins
Looks nice

What case is that you have on your phone. I'm going to get a dbrand skin that I had on my g3 and have them make it for the s6 but I want a bumper case.

With a different case on and with the matte black camera skin on it
I only ordered mine with the wood lens skin, but I cant really decide which one i like the look with better.

Ya, im not sure if I like the matte black camera skin.. especially when using different cases. Looks like it sticks out too much and takes away from the look.

I purchased a dbrand vinyl skin to cover up the silly looking back of the Nexus 4. I purchased the black leather one found here:
http://dbrand.com/submodels/nexus-4/
This thing is top quality. It was easy to install and looks amazing.
I wanted to make sure that it works well with the official Nexus 4 bumper... and it does!
I plan on doing a full series of videos for the Nexus 4, so be sure to check out http://www.reverendkyle.com for more videos and the REVTV Forums!

Cheers for the vid Reverend.
I followed your videos for the HP Touchpad and helped greatly.
I have a black carbon skin ordered but now I really like the look of the black leather
Ordered the black leather one.
Does is add any grip to the back? If it stops the phone gliding of the table it's good enough for me.

Yes it does. The leather style back has a texture to it so it will definitely grip/cushion the back well.

Good to know. Thank you for the feedback :good:
It honestly doesnt provide that much more grip it probally does more than the glass but when i had my BSE on the back the grip was better than with the black leather. It just doesnt have that much texture to it (The color ones have more) The carbon fiber and titanium ones do have a bit more grip aswell but the black leather is the least and most slippery of them all.

FYI I have a Carbon Fiber one im selling for 8 bucks shipped cause im getting my titanium one so if anyon is interested let me know
I searched and didn't see a review for this case. I picked it up yesterday at T-Mobile I had a Ringke Slim prior to this case, I liked the Ringke Slim but I am so paranoid about dropping my phone and not having enough protection, primarily the top and bottom and the corners of the phone.
The Body Glove offers full protection for the Nexus 4. The case is a hybrid hard/soft case. The inside of the case is a "durable gel material" which extends out to the outer edges of the case so that if the phone drops face down it won't land on the glass. There is also gel material on the outside of the case covering the power and volume buttons as well as the back of the case for some slightly added grip and so when the case is placed down the hard plastic won't be touching whatever its laying on.
The case feels rather good in the hand as it does not add any significant weight or thickness to the phone which is awesome. Body Glove did a great job on keeping the ergonomics of the phone while the case is on. My only real complaint is Body Glove could have added more grip to the case. The little groves they added to the back of the case helps some but I think it would help with grip more if the groves were vertical and not horizontal.
Will add more pics of the case on the phone as well as comparison pics of the Ringke Slim.

My review is that it looks hideous.
Great review!!! It really don't look bad in person but I dont think any case really looks great anyway, to each their own I guess.
I also own this case and I have to say it's amazing, I feel like my phone is very protected and looks great. I was looking on amazon for weeks for a good case but I felt everything else was really cheep, the nova is a great looking high quality case and I wouldn't get anything else!
it looks stromtrooper-ish
they have an all black version if this particular one doesn't suit your taste. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BODY-GL...969187?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item23284cada3
Sad tht in India, we have less choice to get accessories , as I have got the phone through relative living in India.
I picked up the same case and I love it. Buttons feel good. Full all around protection. Color choice was pink or white and that's the only draw back imo

Would like to see pictures of the black case if someone has gotten it yet.

I just picked this up today. So far it fits great and the buttons feel good I just wish the edges weren't as boxy.
Anyways I took some pictures for you. The one with the screen turned on shows what looks like white splotches around the edge, but that's a reflection of something because the case shows some chrome on top and bottom. I couldn't get good lighting and the tablets camera sucks with no flash.

This case is just like the seidio active just with better fit due to more structure from the shell. The seidio is nice but doesn't have enough points of grip making the silicone underneath move a lot and letting in dust and particles.

Can anyone compare it to the Ballistic case?
Does it give more protection?is the quality better?thanks
Thanks to all providing pictures.
How do the buttons feel ?
The inner silicone gel case looks thinner than similar dual layer cases (and i presume it cannot be separated from the outer shell as well) . Does it feel like it will give enough protection for a 4/5 ft concrete fall ?
Ooooh! This case is nice! I wish I would've bought this before I bought my Ringke Fusion.

The black one is really nice, had a plain black body glove for my HTC one s the same kind and it had great protection I really recommend the body glove ones

Why a new thread when you see so much people raving about it already?
The black titanium is closer to a gunmetal color with the slightest bit of bronze when viewed under light.
You won't regret getting one of these, that's for sure!
Finally got the black titanium one and I do like it so far.
What I don't like though, are the sharp edges. I've sanded them down a bit but they're still not perfect to the touch.
I can feel the edges cut into the hand a bit while holding the phone.
It's not a dealbraker but would be better if the edges were bevelled somewhat.

I too had the same issue when I first applied the skin. But I used my thumb nail to rub and de-burr the edge of the skin to take the sharp edge off. I now cannot feel the skin on the phone at all when I hold it.

I was wondering which case is better than the other?
I'm looking to keep the nexus 4 slim, sexy, and functional.
I narrowed it down to these two cases because of the clicky tactile feels (on the fusion revision) and the original bumper while maintaining slimness.
I got the bumper a week after I received my phone. Well, not the official one, but a replica of the LG one that's sold in the Play Store. The one I received off Amazon seemed fine, but after about a week of normal use, 2 cracks appeared - one on the bottom where the USB is, and the other on the power button.
I think that they appeared because of plugging in the phone and clicking the power button turning it on and off. The material (metal-looking plastic) that surrounds the bumper is flimsy on it's own, and with a certain amount of pressure and heat from the phone, it's prone to cracking.
If you Google around you'll find that a lot of people have had the same problem with the official one. I bought the same bumper for my friend too, but his is holding up well so far, so I'm not sure. The bumper seemed to have a tighter fit on his N4 whereas mine felt a little loose. He has been using it for a couple months as his was the first wave of N4 that were shipped out. I just got mine a little less than a month ago.
Switched over to the Ringke Fusion based on the number of excellent reviews it got both on XDA and Amazon. Took about a week to get here and because it is the revision, the buttons are clicky and give a good feedback. The case also doesn't add much bulk at all. While I do like the heft of carrying around the phone naked, the glass panels scare me. I never used cases on my old phones, but then again, they were plastic and metal. They sure could take a hit!
The Fusion makes the N4 feel more solid as it is, and it works well with wireless chargers. The only complaint I have about it is the back clear plastic tends to dirty quite easily, with scuffs, fingerprints. But then again, who takes time out of their day to gander at the back of the phone. Sure it's pretty but you'll be spending more of your time messing around with the front.
Where'd you find the official bumper for 13?

I remember when i bought my N4, I kept buying different bumpers because either they were too tight [messed up my screen protector], too bulky or did not protect my phone good enough. In January, I bought Ringke Fusion; been using it since then . Its not one of those cheap bumpers, you will definitely feel the quality. Its fits the phone very well and you wont feel the size of it in your hand or in your pocket.

It's a replica. The real ones are sold on the play store. If it says official elsewhere and is less than the price you would normally pay, chances are it's not official. Anyone can say it's official but it isn't.

I got the Ringke Fusion. IT shows fingerprints REALLY bad - much worse than the back glass - and the fingerprints aren't easy to clean off unless you use water. I ended up taking it off and using the bumper I got free before finding another case.

LOL I would personally get the Fusion, and yes, most bumpers online are replicas even if they are in LG packaging. The normal bumpers cost about 20bux (USD) so that's a good gauge in authentic or not.
There's a thread somewhere comparing the packaging but basically, if there's a holo sticker on the back, mine is square that reads "Original accessories by LG".
GL
Bumper
Wider
Looks better
Less protection
Ringke
Better protection
Lets you create custom designs to insert behind the plastic
horrible protruding creases on the back of the case. - rough to the touch
picks up fingerprints and dust way too easily.
I use bumper for everyday use and if i'm going to be somewhere outside for a long while where i won't have a place to put my phone safely away i use the ringke.

Yes it fits fine. I have a custom and that's technically two skins of thickness in my areas and fits fine.
I just traded in my onyx black for blue coral. I currently have a ringke slim case. Hard black plastic. Id like something identical to this except clear?. A lot of the ones I see are soft tpu. Any recommendations on one would be nice. Thanks ahead of time.
The Caseology Skyfall is one that has a very stiff transparent back. But I found that as the back of the Note 7 is not totally evenly flat, the Caseology case, if removed a few times, does not lay totally against the back and you get this strange pattern showing, like ripple effect. I've now seen this in my Samsung OEM gel case as well. My Note 7 is black, perhaps this issue will not happen with other colours. Anyways, I will abandon using transparent and try to find a slim solid colour one. Shame that.
Yea I've had transparent cases on my s6 edge. They got stuff all in them and the case yellowed out. Maybe i could run front and rear screen protectors only. I just hate to hide the blue coral.color
Matchnine Hori model. I think I bought the last one in the U.S. Nice diamond clear pattern on the back.
I-Blason has a great hard clear case for the Note 7. I got it on Amazon for under $20.

I see how the kickstand makes it sit uneven. Otherwise I like it, it's thinner and lighter than the other Spigen case I have.
Nothing makes a new phone look dated like a crystal clear case.
Nothing looks quite as tacky either.
While they 'feel' hard they're still soft plastic and scratch easily. They yellow. They don't 'let the design show through', in my opinion. They just mask it differently.
