As some of you might know, Sony has released the developer preview of Android M. Has any one tried that yet? If yes, can it be used as a daily driver?

That's misleading, tbh. Afaik, android M and a few other devices shouldn't be included there.

]Isn't it weird? Usually release comes first before the source?

Apparently our CyanogenMod maintainer has had a look at the open source archive & says that numerous parts have been updated. I have no original source but am only going by what I read here. By what it says I am definitely looking forward to the update.

i don`t think so,
if the number has 15.4.A.1.12 ,then only it's a new android version.
the 2nd digit after the 1st point change in every new android version
How they can fix all bugs in a single small update, interesting!

sohow it looks? android version?

Yeah I also think that, if 15.3.A.0.27 was going to be released as a bug fix then why it was skipped you know I mean another bug fix has to be released only if 0.27 had bugs, so why a new build was certified before 0.27 was released. And if they wanted to add features like all the Xperia phones e.g. Xperia Themes etc. they have to update to Android 4.3 as all the Xperias with Android 4.3 are only eligible for them.
So why a big update?
I also agree with that second digit change thing for Android version increments.
But I can't understand the above done thing by Sony.

Will our Xperia L get a Stock 4.4?
I saw a thread that someone is Porting xperia m 4.3 to our device How about
Android 4.4
No one knows, but propably no. Both Xperia L and M are mid-end devices, so official support is worser. I think Xperia L will get 4.3 (like XM).
Its logical that XL should get 4.4 but its at the same time very unlikely too.
We, the XL users are eagerly waiting for CM11 to come.

I think we will get 4.4 , because Sony made AOSP for XPERIA L

Internal Storage has a workaround on the two most used kernel for XL (Thunderzap and Phantom), and bluetooth has a solution to, but we need to wait the CM11 last build to see if the fix has a final solution.
Waiting eagerly for it
just wait for Official CM11 ,

You can not expect STABLE MIUI unless we have a full stable AOSP/CM
Once we have one stable ROM from any of above, I think we can have other ROMS as well. Also, the CAF kernel needs to be fully stable.
Once both of them are fixed, I am sure we will see some new roms at Xperia L forum

Don't forget to replace our 4.1 kernel's BOOTCLASSPATH with LewaOS's bootclasspath (if available) to make it bootable :good:

So have a go yourself, or use f kernel from freack on 4pda it's on here aswell, as for development it's had more than enough since release I'd of said. Besides it's easy enough to get most mods for other Xperia devices to work on the M2 with a bit of fiddling and tweaking.
