I flashed the dev rom and i guess the result are pretty amazing for me 39k antutu score screen time of 6+ hours dont know abt laggy i guess its still kinda laggy during whatsapp i have a redmi note 4g which runs whatsapp pretty smooth then 4i
Can you please share you stats on 3g/4g mine are on wifi.

I use this app. I doesn't show any wakelock. Only that the phone is awake. Are u on the dev rom and are you on the second charge cycle? Every one in the miui forum have this bug

So I have found a trend lol maybe it's just me every time I turn phone off an charge to 100% the phone battery is better I mean no continuous awaken I didn't take screen shots tho you and try it too

To be honest I just used the firmware that came with my phone.. But since it worked with you before (except for the keyboard crash)... It should work again.

Can you get into bootloader or recovery mode to clear the caches and reboot? Or erase and flash the system.img in fastboot if it doesn`t boot
All is working as normal, just this screen wasnt normal!

What's you're build number? For example "KOT49H". It could be possible that there is an update coming for the Nexus 5 since the Nexus 7 recently received an update but as users have mentioned I've never seen the "UPDATE" screen look like the one in the picture you've provided.

Is that a typo and you meant to say KOT49H? There's only 2 official builds for the Nexus 5 and it's the KRT16M (v4.4) and the KOT49H (v4.4.2)

I did so, and reinstalled stock recovery, unfortunately the update stops ~10%mark. Messing around with it, had to factory reset and force install stock 26 to then manage to upgrade.

There is also a non European NXT-L29 version for the MEA market (UAE) sold in Dubai et al.

IMHO NXT-L29 models don't natively allow call recording not to infringe possible local privacy laws.
Many other manufacturers do the same, I don't agree, but that's it...

that shouldnt differ from the "other L29" version though, except perhaps in offered languages. although i presume all L29 roms have the same amount of languages...
On this forum I've seen many different NXT-L29 ROM versions:
NXT-L29C432Bxxx
NXT-L29C636Bxxx
NXT-L29C185Bxxx
NXT-L29C000Bxxx
NXT-L29C900Bxxx
It would be interesting to identify on which Mate 8 L29 models they are originally installed, for example
NXT-L29C432Bxxx is for the European 3/32 model.

Yeah! I find a Call Recorder who works on my Mate 8. It is the Call Recorder from Boldbeast..

Huawei Mate 8 phones like NXT-L09, NXT-L29, NXT-AL10, NXT-CL00, NXT-DL00, NXT-TL00 etc don't need root, please install Boldbeast Recorder V8.0 or newer versions, use these settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 1
- Record Format: WAV
- Tune Audio Route: Group3
It works very well.

I tested the app and it works well also with the AMR audio recording format, a compressed format used in GSM and UMTS that saves storage space compared to the uncompressed WAV format.
