Samsung XCover 2 (S7710) Boot loop - even in recovery? - General Questions and Answers

Hi all,
I've got a Samsung XCover 2 which keeps rebooting. It displays the loading animation on boot then then reboots after a couple of seconds. I can get into the recovery menu and have managed to get both Kies and Odin to start to flash a new firmware but the device reboots after a few seconds again so it never completes.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

same here
I am having the same issue - my xcover 2 S5690 blinks for 2 seconds in every mode (vol up + home + power, etc) and then reboots ... maybe some hardware failure - DISPLAY??
...it seems that there will not be enough power to boot up, even with charging cable attached

Samsung galaxy n8020 (Lte +WiFi) stuck in bootloop

Hi,
I have a problem with my galaxy note n8020 it is stuck on bootloop and won't go past the samsung logo (keeps looping over and over) for some reason I can't get in to the recovery mode Volume Up + Power does not seem to work as it loops through samsung galaxy note 10.1 logo (flashes few times , then if I release power button it goes to samsung logo and keeps looping, if I do not release the poer button it shuts down. I do keep holding Volume up button)
Now I can get in to odin and tried fallowing
* different stock ROM, various regions, version etc no joy odin says pass, but it just stays in bootloop once restarting.
* tried to root CF-auto-root and flash both CWM and TWRP no joy, still can't get to recovery mode.
I am running out of ideas.
Any help is much appreciated.
Hey @r0ughsoul! What happened finally..?

Stuck on Galaxy S7 Logo

Hi,
I've been running a custom Rom on my Android without any trouble. I've never had an issue rebooting it. Today, I accidentally clicked Reboot Recovery instead of Reboot and it's been stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Logo for half an hour. I've tried pressing Vol+ / Vol- / Power / Home together to force it off. It reboots and still stays stuck on the Logo. I'm unable to get into Download Mode and I'm unable to get into Recovery Mode.
I'm wondering what I can do to fix this?
Make it reboot, and as soon as your screen turns black switch to holding volume up and home (Not the power button).
You should be able to reach download mode.

SGH-i727R Boot Loop Issue & cannot get to Recovery Mode?

Normal boot sequence results in boot loop few seconds after second logo (SAMSUNG) appears, then a brief screen flash (like a thin white horizontal line), then bzzz ... bzzz and so on.
When I try to enter Recovery Mode (hold middle volume & power simultaneously), wait for 2nd logo (SAMSUNG) to appear and release power button, it goes into boot loop before it can reach recovery mode. Specifically, when I release power button, it vibrates again, and goes back to two logo sequence, then a screen flash, the I get the dreaded one second cycle pulse vibrations.
When I try to Boot into Download Mode, the custom OS warning screen appears, I release the power button and within a few seconds it goes into boot loop
I suspect the hardware is fine. Is there any way to revive this by different means?
As background, I had first bootloop issues about a year ago and was able to resolve using the above method. I then upgraded from original ICS to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 which I installed using ODIN. The phone worked fine for like 6 months until this.
If you haven’t guessed, I’m a bit of a newb here.

Samsung galaxy phone restarted during update and became stuck in boot loop with no access to recovery mode

Hi all
I have a samsung galaxy phone which has undergone a sudden restart during software update and since then it has been stuck in a boot loop. When I hold power and volume down it doesn't access the recovery mode and when I hold the power and the volume up it goes into the update page and continues to 25% and then shows an error and then restarts again
