Hi people.
I have ran into a very off issue during my first day with my Galaxy S6.
I have a nillkin magic disk 2 wireless Qi charger.
When I place the S6 on it it starts charging and seeks perfectly fine. But after 1 or 2 minutes the phone restarts itself ! It's driving me nuts !
I have plugged the Qi charging pad to a quick charge 2.0 charger , could that be the reason ?

I got a couple of $10 charging pads off amazon and they work fine with an old LG (4.8v 1a) and an even older Blackberry (5v 700ma) power adapter.
Well I discovered that the .7amp and the 2amp do not work but I had a 1amp
That ened up working from my gs4 mini. Weird but works perfect now.
I've always used my note3 charger on my note 10.1 without issues and I'm very disappointed to see that the quick charger that comes with my note4 doesn't charge my note10.1!
When it's connected the red cross on the battery pops up (this usually happens when a low power charger is used)
Does this happen to you too or have I a broken charger?

No problems for me. I am using it to charge my Sony tablet-z with no problems.

My Note 4 charger charges my Nexus 10 without issues.
The Note 4's charger works on my Note 10.1 2014 ed. It obviously doesn't fast charge my tablet though.
The charger is SUPPOSED to act as a 9V charger when connected to Fast Charge devices like the Note 4, but also act as a 5V charger for any other device. If the device can't use the full 5V (like a phone that only uses 2V or something), the device itself will only draw as much power as it can accept under 5V (2V for example).
If your charger isn't charging your Note 10.1, then the charger could be bad, or maybe even your tablet's charging port. If the tablet charges with other chargers, then I doubt it's the latter.

I get the same thing. I have a note 10.1 and using my note 4's adaptive charger with the note 10.1 charge cable I get the dreaded red x -- meaning super slow charge. All items are in perfect working order (doesn't happen with other 2 amp non-adaptive charging chargers).

So it's safe to charge my S4, Nexus 7 2012 and S2 with my Note 4 stock fast charger? I remember some guy making a thread that it fried his S4...I've been cautious ever since
HI guys,
I have a Nilkin power stone wireless charger. It was working great so far but I recently come across an interesting issue. The charger only works with the original galaxy s6 adaptive charger , galaxy s5 charger or the pc usb port. The other chargers ( iphone 5 charger, numerous other usb chargers) I have refuse to work with the wireless charger. It shows the phone charging but it doesn't charge. Same issue happens with the Nexus 7 as well. Anyone come across similar issues ?

some chargers need a power input of 1.5-2amps
Hi Guys,
For the past year I have been using a Tylt Vu, and Itian Desktop wireless chargers with my S5 with the Samsung back.
Charging speed with both desktop stands was really good. And it charged the phone in a couple of hours.
I just picked up an S6 Active yesterday, and on both my stands it's barely charging.
The phone shows the charging symbol. The stands light up showing the phone is charging. But it's charging at a rate of about 2% an hour.... Totally not usable.
Am I missing some kind of a setting to get the chargers to kick into gear???
Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a samsung wireless charging pad and i charge my g920f with it every night since i bought it a week ago. It was charging well in about 3 hours from 0%, but now it is charging very slow (25% in 8 hours) and it is heating. I installed an app to see cpu states, it is 99% on 800mhz. I tried changing cables and chargers but nothing worked. Charging with microusb works just fine. If i turn off the s6, wireless charging works as normal. I don't have root nor modified the system in past and i don't plan on rooting. I have latest 5.1.1 from romania(vodafone). Thanks for any help
Use 2A charger.
