Go to get.cm and download it..
Dont download 16, 17 dated version as it have touch bugs..u can go for 15, 18 nightly

working in 4.2.1 ,this version 4.2.2, did not get to test, battery consumption is higher.

Omni, CyanFox, SlimKat, or CM11?
Also, do any of the above feature Screen Recording thanks to KitKat's ability to do so, without needing ADB?

I looked at AvatarROM a while ago and it seems to be targeted toward people who want to theme thier device, whereas I like the stock vanilla Android look.

I mainly want a nice amount of features.
But I'm leaning towards CM11 due to the Quick Settings camera.

@smit.sanghvi I know you are big fan of slim ROMs but there are plenty of ROMs there that are far better then slim ..
I am saying that it was bad but needs too much improvement ..
I am hardly prefer Omni , CM11 ,Avatar Rom ..:victory:

I know I am a SlimRom fanboy and I really like SlimRom. It suits my needs so I recommend it to everybody.

IT's not the same official is better stable , better battery life
unofficial is just a small group of people working together to built a rom but it not stable and suck

It's a problem with almost all cm11 roms.I have too problem with the echo but not always.

Thanks a bunch. But how about something a wee bit more stable. Marshmallow has just been released for our device. I intend to use a ROM as my daily driver.

Xposed is also pretty important. Is it working well? Also, just a final confirmation. Is it really good? Cause my experience with CM 12.1. wasn't very good. It had continuous reboots and crashes and fcs on day 2.

Look for Xposed made for Android 6 CM13 then be careful how to use its modules properly for tab 2 7
Again try it carefully for your needs, let's know what do you find.

Ok, I've installed the ROM and its SO AWESOME THAT I WANNA SAY THE F WORD even though I'm 12. Installed ViperFX and Xposed. Working great. Two problems are as follows. Battery life is so-so, worse than SlimKat (that I had before). And when I connect it to my PC, the file explorer doesn't show anything. I mean that it shows my device but when I click on it, it says the this folder is empty. Android Debugging is enabled. Any suggestions???

It depends on many factors , how many hours u work on it , with 8 hours daily in 1 or 2 week maybe 2 months lol you will get the first bootable build then you start the fixing bugs journey

this is a j700p thread. you should ask in a thread for your model, or make a new thread. Please dont do that here

I will pay $30 to you if you make a CM 13 rom for our phone that could be a daily driver thats $1 per vote that you need to start building.

If u are a developer you would know that it's not possible to fix the current bugs at the current time , there are somethings not possible in the dev world
